The unit arrived in a timely fashion and was easy to assemble. I don't like the fact that it does not come with a basin or receptacle to catch the ashes or embers which fall out of the vent holes in the bottom of the bowl. I will use the firepit on a deck and had to go and purchase a metal bowl to catch the embers and avoid a fire hazzard. The design is not complete without a receptacle included for this purpose. Dissappointed I didn't know about this before I ordered it since it would have made a difference and probably would not have purchased it.

Great product. It arrived on time and was very easy to put together. I love the slate/tile rim. However, I wish it came with a bowl (or something) to collect the ash/particles that do fall through the holes in the firebowl. Although I have it on my brick patio and am not worried about it burning anything, I have need to add a foil pie plate when barbecuing hot dogs, etc. to catch any greasy particles that may fall through on to the brick and stain it. Other than that, it is a wonderful addition to my backyard.Best Deals for Uniflame WAD931SP Slate/Tile Outdoor Firebowl with Copper Accents
In this video you will see how after a short time the tiles start to become loose and fall off. This possibly is because of winter, however we had a tarp over the firepit so that no snow got on it. Possibly the tiles can not withstand cold temps. It was fine when we stored it away in the fall. The company Blue Rhino has not been helpful replacing it. I have seen other reviews on Lowes as well as Amazon stating the same problems. Now you can see what your in store for when you watch my video.
Update: July 11 2013 Blue Rhino sent me a new tile ring. The tiles however are broke and then were set in place and grouted. They are not falling off they are just broken pieces set in the mortar. It does not look as nice as the original. When I went to install it I found that the design is now different. There are bolts built into the tiled ring and these bolts do not line up with the holes in the plates that are part of the legs....So Blue Rhino is now looking into this problem to see what can be done. The original tiled ring had plates welded to the bottom of it with pre threaded holes so that bolts would go through to attach it to the legs. More to come...............
Ferrellgas DBA Blue Rhino sent me 3 complete firepits and each one was damaged (had broken tiles). Since I was under warranty and they told me they have no more for replacement as it was not being made anymore so they offered my money back.
So overall after many pictures and emails and calls they did teat me fairly. But the hassle of a flawed product is not worth it.

The firebowl looks great when you first put it together. It is sturdy, and is fairly heavy giving the impression that it is well made. Unfortunately after 2 months of use, the outside "stone" began to crack and break off in large chunks revealing that it is just a cheap covering on top of an aluminum base. The top grill area has rusted already (it is covered at all times unless it is being used), which significantly hurts its look. Even though I figured that it wouldn't put off enough heat to warm anyone up during a colder night, I'm surprised at how little firewood actually fits into this, how little heat it puts off and because of the small amount of wood it will take, how quickly you need to keep throwing more on.The aesthetics certainly suck now that the "stone" has fallen off and the top is rusted, but I could really only see it being practical for spring and summer nights for townhouses and not for anyone with any land that could do even a small fire in a pit. Unfortunately the warranty/return policy was up very shortly after I bought it as a gift and I can't seem to find how to get the manufacturer to replace it with another one if this is simply defective.
