We are very happy with our new Minuteman International Arts and Crafts Curved Fireplace Screen! It arrived packaged in thick but slightly crumbling cardboard, possibly from being shipped from a humid environment. The cardboard and interior packaging protected the screen well during transit. We were pleased to see it had no scratches or abrasions on it at all. It is fairly heavy and built very solidly. The color is slightly darker than we anticipated, but we think it looks great with our room decor and especially our brick fireplace. Based on the description we thought we might be getting some accessories with our screen. But that is not the case.

We recently remodeled our living room and put in an electric fireplace-that really looks REAL. With no screen in front we didn't think people would think it was real. This was the perfect choice as it fit in our space perfectly. It's well made and heavier than it looks in the photo. We are extrememly pleased.

this screen exactly fits the opening for my fireplace. The color is darker than I thought it would be, but it is still perfect in my room.

This thing is heavy and it arrived in five days with free shipping. Couple dings, but nothing inside damaged. First of all, do not lose anything! There are no extra screws, dowels, or anything else. If you lose one, you're out of luck so keep track of everything. Assembling this thing is no easy task. I'm not sure what other people are talking about, but I did it completely by myself. It took me around three hours and the next day my hands and wrists were sore from all the screws that had to be driven into the very hefty particle board. This piece uses the typical camlock system that's common with assembled furniture, and A LOT of screws. I really wish I had an electric screwdriver for this project.

Now that it's put together, I'm pretty impressed. It displays as a far nicer piece of furniture than the price suggests. One thing that should be mentioned is that this TV stand is brown wood with a black stain. It's not painted black. So in bright sunlight, it can look a little red/brown as the wood shows through a little. The piece feels solidly constructed and stable, but the support on the bottom that is supposed to hold up the middle of the stand snapped off as soon as it was moved. It's far too flimsy for such an important component. I fear that in a year or so it will start to sag in the middle, but I didn't feel like taking everything out of it to turn it upside down and fix it just to load everything in again.

The thing comes with tons of shelves and you can adjust them however you want inside the compartments. The perfect mix of open/closed spaces ensures that your heat-sensitive components can breathe and the more durable ones can be hidden. It's also probably the tallest 60" TV stand and it gets the panel at the perfect height for viewing from a couch. Cable holes in the back of every compartment makes running wiring easy. Fit and finish, seams, etc are all exacting. I have a 65" TV and it perfectly fits to the edge of the stand. TVs smaller will have space on each side.

Happy with my purchase of this stand right now as I fight the urge to tear everything apart again to try and fix the flimsy center support. When you install it make sure you do it as well as possible.

This is a quality piece of furniture, but I do think it is quite expensive for what you get. Also, my package was missing screws. Overall, I am satisfied. The television stand is beautiful and the installation was very simple.

Easy to build , sturdy , and very nice looking. Plenty of room for all my husbands stereo equipment and toys

Honest reviews on B-602-BWT West Lake 60-Inch Television Bench, Mocha Black

This stand is very well built with easy to follow instructions. I put the product together by myself in a approximately 4 hours, however I would recommend that you have someone else assist you in moving the final product since it is very heavy once completed. I would recommend this product if you are looking for a tv stand that is above average quality for a reasonable price.

Packaged well for its weight and components, nothing got damaged and instructions were pretty clear. Not a sufficient amount of glue was provided but that's hardly anything to complain about. Very satisfied customer here.

Buy Uniflame Black Sparkguard

Customer Ratings:

This screen is really easy to use. Just the right weight, stands on its own when removed from fireplace. Very safe while in use because it curves in on the top so there are no open spaces for sparks to fly out. The price is very reasonable and good quality product.

These are merely OK, probably worth about half what they cost. The broom that came with my set was shedding bristles pretty bad. So much so that I threw it out immediately. The stand is cheaply constructed and the metal parts to all of these pieces seems to be powder coated (painted) iron or steel. Not bad, but way overpriced for the cheap Chinese construction you get.

Honest reviews on 30-Inch Hexagonal Fireplace Grate

After building a large fire pit and patio out of field stone, my attention turned to fabricating a wood grate for the pit. While surfing for ideas, I found the already made Uniflame grate and realized it was the exact size and shape I needed. It is heavy and ruggedly built and the design keeps logs from rolling off the edges. Should last for years.

The frame was dented. The box it was shipped in was in poor condition. I didn't want to bother looking for a box to fit so that I can return it so I kept it instead. It's just sitting in the garage. What a waste of money.

I did modify the assembly a bit. There were two bars that were suppose to go on the inside of the screen. If I installed it this way the screen would not be flush to the wall. I reversed them and the screen rests a bit against the tile. Looks great. A big improvement from the shinny brass one that the glass shattered.

Discount Majestic InstaFlame Fireplace Blower (CFM-HE20) Rotom Replacement #

Customer Ratings:

It was time to replace our blower for our gas fireplace. After checking around at other stores, this was by far the best deal. This does what it is supposed to, but seems to have a little less CFM than our old one. However, it is a little quieter which is nice. Four out of five stars as it doesn't seem quite as powerful as the old blower. Still a great buy.

The screen arrived in a cardboard box that was pretty beat up. The screen itself is very lightweight, very cheesy looking. The "finish" was worn across the entire top of the screen. I knew this wasn't solid brass, but I expected something that at least looked decent from a distance for the price I paid.

Though it would be nice to have a solid polished brass fireplace screen, this product certainly fits our needs. For the price, it looks quite attractive and provides what we wanted in safety. It sets off our polished brass in our living room and serves the purpose to protect against accidents for our granddaughters. Quick service on delivery as well.

We were surprised. Pleasantly.

A weighty, perfect model of this classic screen would certainly not be available for anything close to the price of the Uniflame model, but the Uniflame looks amazingly good anyway. This thing does the trick!

We bought it to replace an "original" solid brass model costing nearly $500 (and it's cheap construction design eventually giving way to its heaviness when moved). As long as someone doesn't examine the new screen from close-up, it actually looks better (not really terrible at all close-up), and it's lighter weight makes it easy to handle.

Honest reviews on Uniflame 4 Panel Triple-Plated Folding Fireplace Screen

Purchased this screen last week and it came with noticeable scrapes across the top. The box it came in was gigantic with plenty of packaging material, but the screen was packaged loosely at the bottom. However, since it was in another smaller box, I'm thinking that the scraping was there to begin with, and not from shipping. Still deciding whether to go through the trouble of exchanging it since another reviewer said they had the same damage. I wouldn't want to risk getting another with the same damage and I really need a screen right now. Other than the damage, it's a very nice screen.

This is an excellent fireplace screen for the price. I was somewhat surprised at how light the screen is as compared to other fireplace screens I have in the house. You certainly won't have a hard time moving it away from the fireplace. I actually purchased it to put in front of a gas fireplace in order to make the fire look more authentic and it does the job !

I purchased this wood stove about 3 years ago. I have owned other stoves in the past and was very pleased with each one...until I bought this one.

I live in New England and here we need to depend on a good reliable source of heat.I had not seen this stove prior to purchasing it...mistake #1. None were on display anywhere in my area. I went on the recommendation of a friend who had one, but knew nothing about wood stoves....mistake #2.First off, the stove is very hard to regulate. It either is set low and smokes all over or all the way open and will blast you out of the house. It probably would work better in a large home for that reason.

It is a poorly built cheap quality most likely a Chinese made stove(as quoted on another website). The first year I had to replace the door gasket 3 times until I emailed the company and they sent one that has worked fine since. The door is out of alignment and doesn't fit flush. The hinges have a lot of slop in them. Year 2, the handle broke off, very poor design and materials.I emailed and complained about it and they did send a new one free. Year 3, Some of the fire brick are now breaking and the grate has broken. There is a big hole in the middle. A new one on their website costs $ + shipping. They are also to last for years according to their website.

This is not an air tight wood stove like I thought. There are gaps in the doors and The fire box is thin metal. Overall it does technically work, but for the money it is very, very poor. Please do yourself a favor and look to a different company.

I purchased this stove over 2 years ago to to replace an old oil burning stove. I could not be happier. Our family home is about 1200sqft, and this is our only heat source. I have even used the top surface for cooking meals during power outages a few times. It is very well made with cast iron doors, and heavy gauge steel box. Please read instructions on proper heating to prevent smoking if you are not familiar with wood stoves. Works greats, keeps us warms, and very efficient wood burner!

Best Austin Baccus Company Inc BA-BA Bad Ash Fire Place Cleaner Deals

Customer Ratings:

I purchased this item to help my wife clean out our home fireplace, but did not realize two shortcomings: 1) The unit requires a second vacuum cleaner to provide suction--it does not have its own motor (I probably should have known this by examining the product info. more closely), and 2) The filter, when filtering ash, requires frequent cleaning to allow enough suction. Basically, I'm disappointed in the product, but can't send it back because I tried it once.

I suppose this is a good item for some people, but not for me. I don't have the space to store.

Best Deals for Austin Baccus Company Inc BA-BA Bad Ash Fire Place Cleaner

After one wood-stove-burning season, the connector between the metal tube and the hose split, causing the vac to lose suction. Duct tape solutions for a product after one season (3 months) of use is not a mark of quality craftsmanship. The design requires frequent emptying/cleaning to keep the suction strong enough to pick up ash.

Honest reviews on Austin Baccus Company Inc BA-BA Bad Ash Fire Place Cleaner

we burn wood to heat the house and being able to clean the wood stove without having to let the house go cold first is a big advantage, I did get a hot ember in a regular shop vac once and the vac itself caught fire-not fun-so this has made cleaning and relighting the wood stove much safer and eaisier.

Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Austin Baccus Company Inc BA-BA Bad Ash Fire Place Cleaner

I have a woodstove that has to shoveled out manually, putting lots of dust into the air in the process. I shopped around but was hesitant to spend $300 on a motorized dust vacuum. The selling point for me was: why by another vacuum when I could use this device with one I already own? That was the theoretical "Pro".

The reality was there are no "Pros" to owning this, only "Cons".

Cons: Looks like a sturdy 5 gal. metal pail. It is made of flimsy metal.

Looks like it has a decent capacity. It fills up and shuts down about 1/3rd of the way up. I had to empty it twice while cleaning the stove. The suction power also drops off rapidly.

Your vacuum's suction hose connects by sticking it through a fragile foam ring and falls out easily.

The inside cannister filter tends to fall off its connection, is covered with a cloth bag and is a nightmare to remove clean and reattach, unless you don't mind getting covered with ash. I would try to shake it out on the end of a stick.

The hose and nozzle are indeed sturdy but the plastic union where the nozzle goes into the hose is cheaply made and split.

I've ended up taking more time and doing more work by using this item and have gone back to my shovel until I can find something better.
