I bought this to act as a humidifier when my woodstove is being used. It was thoroughly rinsed and filled with extremely filtered water from a Kinetico filter system, so I know the water is clean and clear of chlorine and deposits. Yet this kettle emitted heavy white deposits that got all over the woodstove and its trim, and the outside of the pot. The inside of the pot had "blooms" of white crusty deposits, many as large as 3/16" in diameter. The only way to clean them out is with a wire brush. It seems I paid almost $80.00 for a kettle I will never use again out of fear it may very well do more harm than good.

This was the only Made in the USA kettle I could find, and I loved the quirky half-kettle look. It reminded me of Willy Wonka's office in the Gene Wilder version! The construction is sturdy, it holds lots of water, and this is a kettle that will last long enough to pass down to grandchildren. I recommend it to everyone who prefers quality and craftsmanship.

Whirlpool 13030RP Compactor Bag Caddy with Handles Review

If you have a trash compactor with a "hold compaction," or similar setting, this device will allow you to compact your trash more effectively and assist you in getting it out of the compactor with ease. This is basically a heavy duty plastic box liner with rope handles that will allow you to pull a full and heavy bag out of the machine. Keep in mind that it is open at both ends, so you have to be careful not to dump your bag out one side. This will fit all of your standard compactors, with the rope handles attaching to your bag anchor points.

I bought some substandard bags and this Caddy has made the world of difference. It makes removing the paper compactor bag simple and makes the trip to the trash can outside a snap. I highly recommend purchasing this product.

Outdoor GreatRoom Glass Fire Gems - 4 lbs. Reviews

Customer Ratings:

When you light the fire, the glass stones make it look like running water! They are so cool! However, I highly recommend that you buy at least 4 bags. One bag doesn't go very far.

I bit the bullet and purchased this item in blue as well as white. Not much product for the money but it does look great. It doesn't go very far. I purchased "fire pit" glass from another place and it was cheaper but looked it. Wish I could justify spending almost $200 on "glass".

apparently spending $1500 on a fire pit wasn't enough for a complete installation. Sadly, the Outdoor GreatRoom Company does not provide enough 'fire gems' for a proper looking fire bowl. Silly and frustrating omission.

These glass marbles look great in the fireplace; however, the bag didn't go very far. I had read that in previous reviews, but thought I might not need as many. I am ordering another bag to make it look more full.

These Ruby glass gems are very beautiful in a vase, not so much so in a firepit. You can barely see them.

Review of Achla Designs Wall Mount Bracket for Threaded Birdbaths

Customer Ratings:

Pros: Installs easily and can be mounted almost anywhere (porch, tree, fence, etc). I used this with "Achla Designs Heart Shaped Birdbath and Feeder". It fits well and looks really nice.

Cons: Kind of expensive for what it is. A simple, threaded metal bar shouldn't cost more than $10. You must also provide your own screws. I might also suggest you add washers also, because the holes are pretty large and typical wood screws are ALMOST too small for them! Also, the Achla products that are specifically designed for it are very pretty, but expensive. Product descriptions on Amazon are also not good at ensuring that a bath is threaded correctly so that it will fit.

Other thoughts: I actually have two "Heart Shaped Birdbaths", because the first one arrived damaged and was replaced (this was not Amazon's fault I ordered from another website entirely). The first one screws in perfectly, so that it faces forward, away from the mount. But the second one ends up pointing to the side when you screw it in all the way. I can either 1) leave it a just a tad loose if I want it pointing forward or 2) deal with the different orientation. Just something to think about. Oh, and if you're wondering what the deal with the damaged bath was: the little bird broke off in shipping, but some clear expoy actually worked perfectly to put it back together. So I ended up with two working birdbaths!

All these little cons add up, so I feel justified taking away a couple stars.

Great for ambiance and cool evenings.

Beautiful little flame and nice on the patio.

In a condo, this provides just enough fireplace to be perfect for cold winter evenings, and with the warmth from the fuel, it's wonderful. Also, we can put it on the deck for evenings spent out there, however, it's fairly heavy, so it's not that easy to move. I love the design, it was easy to put together and it's easy to use.

The feeling of having a fire burning during winter is welcoming and warming.

it is readily transportable to any room of the house, or out out on the alfresco.

It burns cleanly and reasonably economically.

Very pleased with the purchase

I am very please with the price and delivery, my order arrived in less time than expected. however I was a bit disapointed in the sturdiness of it. The wire mesh is fine, but the surrounding framework is flimsy and the cross member that is supposed to stiffen the whole thing is too close to the front to be really effective. It will serve its purpose, I was just expecting a little more for the money.

Couldn't be happier.

I was a little concerned about ordering this product after reading some of the lesser reviews. However after receiving the product my concerns went away.

The screen is adequately sturdy enough to do what it was meant to do,and there wasn't any assembly at all, other than dropping in the crossbar, which a 4 year old could master in about 10 seconds.

I also keep the crossbar off when the stove isn't in use so I can adjust the screen so it is perpendicular to the stove for a neater appearance.

The screen looks better than I expected around my stove !

I've been using this for about 2 months now as a fireplace screen. We have a fire almost daily during the winter season. This screen has worked really well for us. It is a very simple design and seems to be well made. I put a few small heavy duty felt pads on the bottom of it so that it wont scratch the stone hearth when I slide it around. Great item for the price.

Honest reviews on 3-Fold Child Guard Stove Screen

This was exactly what I was looking for. Fits perfectly around my wood stove so that my little one can not accidentally have contact with it.

I purchased this screen to keep my 8 month old away from the product. As soon as I took the pieces out of the box I was disappointed. 1)The screen material is very flimsy and cheaply made. 2) Some of the pieces were broken. 3)It requires assembly and there are no instructions (but if all the pieces were in tact I could have figured it out). I would not recommend this product. I returned it with no hassle and am awaiting a refund.
