Ok not a pretty rug. However,it is great. It cleans easily with vacuuming or the hose. Not kidding. It has endured ashes and dogs.

Expensive but probably worth it. Have gone through many rugs over the years that claimed to be flame resistant

but left burn marks when small embers were dropped. With a Buck Stove, using wood for the fireplace is

a constant in the Winter. This rug is made of fiberglass, and although it is plain, flat and simple it

serves the purpose admirably; shows no burn marks if a spark accidentally hits it, and lays flat to the floor

with a non-skid backing. Very pleased with the purchase; although a bit too pricey. I purchased the charcoal

color and it blends well with the surroundings so as not to be noticeable.

Great rug, nice color match to what shows online. It's been one wood stove season since we got it and it still looks brand new even after saving my new tile floor from a burning ember. I'd buy again but hope not to need to replace. Looks like a good quality hearth rug and very attractive too.

This is a wonderful rug for a sml.fireplace,and it does receive embers popped from the open fire.I would not use it in front of a large fireplace.

The rug is great. My old rug had so many burn marksthis one looks like new. No ember marks!
