Measurement were right. No cutting or adjustments made. Have not needed a fire this summer so don't know how it will stand up to the heat. Will have to see.

I wish I would have ordered this sooner. it fits perfect and took about 15 min. to install. the old one was so beat up it was hard to open and close. This looks good and makes building a fire more pleasant because it works so nice. Just follow the instructions on measuring and you will have no problem.
