I consider this type of tool a must have for car camping a long hollow rod allows you to blow air exactly where a fire needs it without getting down on your hands and knees and putting your face far too close to the action. There are many combination 'blow poke' blowing tube / fire pokers on the market, but this one is my favorite. As a poker the FireDragon is excellent the rod is sturdy and a good length, and the fork on the end, rather than a single prong like many of its competitors, makes for easy and confident log and coal manipulation. And the tube is a large enough diameter for you to blow easily through it. The brass mouthpiece is comfortable to use, and does its job well. After a few seasons of use this tool is showing no wear, so I anticipate a lifetime of good service from it.

I love this product! There is not much to it as far as function goes, its a hollow tube with a mouthpiece on one end and a fork on the other. I use it all of the time for moving and flipping logs in my fire pit, as well as putting some air on a stubborn/smokey fire. The only thing wrong with the product is the weld along the flange of the brass mouthpiece. The seam where the brass goes from being part of the shaft to the flared out portion is very weak, and will easily break if you are not careful.

I usually lean mine up against the arm of my chair or similar between uses while sitting around the fire. Through the course of an evening it might occasionally slide down the arm and tip over. Just that impact has been enough to break the questionable weld. It can be easily fixed with JBWeld or similar, since its not subjected to the fire and just holding the mouthpiece together. Were it not for that weak seam/weld, this would be a 5 star item all-day-long.

I like the item so much that after my first broke, I ordered a spare. The one I fixed is holding together fine, and the epoxy is likely much more solid than the original weld. The new one is still in the box as a spare, but I inspected the weld when I received it. Sadly, its painfully apparent that this weld is still the weakest link. Be careful, and don't let it fall over onto anything hard because eventually, it will break off the mouthpiece.

I was so excited to purchase this for my friends 60th birthday. We spend alot of time togethter around the fire and she is the absolute fire queen. I was so upset when the mouthpiece broke off the dragon stick on the very first night!!! She said she will have her son sauder it but I doubt that will happen and I feel very cheated by your product!

Unbelievably fast delievery!! I researched fire pokers online and love the fact that I chose this one, even though it was more than I wanted to spend!! It is very sturdy, well made, and love the ability to blow into it to stoke our fire. Perfect for our outdoor fire pit!!!!
