The grate is very solid/well built and looks like it will last a very long time. I have had two hot, all day fires in it and it still looks brand new. I was surprised at how fast it arrived after placing the order through Amazon. The shipping was free from the supplier on orders over $100 and I think it arrived 2 business days after it was ordered.
