This fan was a great replacement for my Majestic Fireplace fan. The unit plugged in to the original wiring. Very powerful and inexpensive solution to very expensive brand specific blowers. The manufacturers sure try to take advantage of people when a universal like this, along with an $6 automatic on/off thermostat switch may even be a better bet.
