This is too thin and does not remove much. General friction would work better to clean the flass. The pasty stuff this company makes works great, but this stuff is terrible.

OLD FASHION METHOD MY FRIEND TOLD ME ABOUT: Wait for the stove to COOL down and then take a clump of WET paper or paper towels then dip in room temp. ash (never hot ash) and wipe the glass. For some reason, the ash cleans the glass very well with little effort.

SAFETY TIP: Use CAUTION! Let the woodstove to be cool down before cleaning the glass.

In a word incredible. This item took about ninety minutes to assemble, from opening the box to removing the trash when finished. I should state that I have assembled many household items over the last twenty years. That greatly aided my ninety minutes completion time.

This is a beautiful piece of oak furniture. We purchased it to support a seventy inches, one hundred plus pounds television. The television extends about one inch beyond either side of the cabinet. It has excellent support for the weight of the television, showing no signs of bowing in the center of the top shelf.

The fire that is produced by the leds' is phenomenal. Simply stated, it appears real. There are five levels of brightness. Directions state the electric blower can warm a four hundred square foot {20x20} room. I doubted that. I no longer doubt it though. Of course it will not warm the area as quickly as your heater or heat pump, but it will get there and you will have to eventually reduce the heat setting.

Any body who gets this item will enjoy it. Shipping is fast also, not a long wait.

Despite the clear advisory, I missed the fact that the flame/heater insert was not included... My fault.

The piece is beautiful and fairly easy to assemble. Some holes did not line up quite right, so I had to do some drilling. Looks great with the fireplace insert and gives off a good amount of heat.

I purchased this fireplace to hold my 70 inch TV. It looks wonderful and the wood is darker than I thought but matches my coffee table perfectly. The flames look good with varying colors to look like real fire. Not sure about heat as it is summer and too soon to tell. Definitely hard to put together took a lot of hours and plan on having a drll with small drill bits to drill holes that are supposed to be there. The delivery was quick, the company called within a a day or two to set up delivery.

This is a nice piece of furniture, we had noticed some minor scratches in the bottom after we put the mantel together.

This piece also does not come with the fireplace, did not know that when ordering. I feel that this mantel was a little pricey, considering it does not come with the fireplace.

My old spark cap on top of the chimney rusted away, and I had a serious problem with starlings nesting in my chimney for quite a while before I finally found this.

Stainless means buying it just once and never worrying about it again. Can't find any fault with that! The fit was very loose, and I couldn't find a size that was closer, but replacing the included screws with longer stainless ones got the job done, no problems.

If you have a BIG mess with soot, call a Pro but for smaller areas, this eraser does very well. Eraser? smells and feels like one and does well for awhile until it loads up and then all your doing is smearing the soot all over the place. There's no way to avoid the problem except to have several clean sponges on hand then wash'em and let them dry-real dry. The product does what it says. Just buy more than one.

This product works well for removing soot from a wood burning stove off of the walls and ceiling. I do not wash and reuse so I cannot comment to how well that works. Does the job for older popcorn ceiling when painting is not a good option.

It was cheap, so I went ahead and bought it. It shipped that day and I had it the next! I immediately tried using it and it's like a miracle eraser. I LOVE IT! I make one swipe and all the soot comes off! It's seriously awesome. There are a few really black spots left that I'm going to have to use something else on, but for 95% of the build up, this sponge worked wonders! This stand is simply gorgeous and sturdy as well. It's just the right fit for my 65" plasma, Home Theater System, and a couple of good-sized baskets, too! I had no trouble moving this stand without having to remove anything on it thanks to the 8 casters. It is very easy to manuever over carpeting, even fully loaded.

I mistakenly thought that other than the 2 clear glass shelves, the remainder was made of metal. It actually consists of 2 clear short shelves, 2 long black tempered glass shelves that comprise the top and bottom, and on the back, 3 metal plates with holes designed to guide your cords/wires out behind the stand.

As they are the screw-in rather than snap-in type of casters, I found installing them to take longer than any other aspect of assembly. Unlike another reviewer, I noticed no off-odors from my casters.

The package came breakage proof. Needed a second pesron to put it together, as the glass boards are very heavy. Have storage for all devices. Bought 2 black canvas baskets for the DVDs and it looks great! Thanks to its wheels it can be moved easily for cleaning.

The pictures really don't do this beautiful stand any justice at all.

Shipment was fast and came with all the necessary parts, including a few extra pieces which I like to see.

The stand is beast and very solid. The directions are clear. Took me about an hour and half to assemble alone. Just like a couple other reviewers noted you'll run into what seems like an issue where the holes don't feel like they're lining up properly, but I think this is done on purpose when it's engineered to add tension to make it more sturdy. Just pull the table in the direction you need it to be in and screw it all down. Don't tighten down everything until you've gotten everything screwed in first.

The glass is thick and solid. The top of the stand itself has a beautiful glossy finish. I really like how you can slide a sub woofer in the middle. I purchased the http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002KVQBA/ref=pe_385040_30332190_pe_175190_21431760_M3T1_ST1_dp_1 which fits perfectly inside like a glove.

If you actually do buy this stand along with an actual 70" TV, then you aren't going to have any where to put your center channel. Was delivered a couple of days ago. I assembled it immediately. I did have to go to the manufacturers website to get the assembly instructions. Which only took a few seconds. It was easy to put together. The glass is heavy and may take two people to assemble. Once it is assembled there are wheels on it, so that you can move it to whatever wall you want without lifting it. It goes perfect with my 70" Vizio Smart TV. The stand is high enough so that the TV is level with you when I am on my sectional. I could not have found A better stand.,

This product is cheap. Cheap materials, cheap construction and cheap looks. You certainly get what you pay for. The product, while one of the least expensive on the market, is not worth the expense. The light gauge materials cause the curved frame to "rack" leaving it looking warped. It looks much heavier in the advertisement. I do not trust this piece to stand up on its own and would suggest using tie-wire to secure it to some eye-hooks to prevent tipping. It is very plain, which is can be interpreted as a positive comment. No frills might be a better adjective. The packaging was awful. Clearly this was a retread from a return. Box was opened and re-secured with a single span of tape across the center of width of the box. Buyer beware!!

Construction is adequate though the frame could have been a little beefier. Overall good product at a great price and not some traditional eyesore. Barely notice this is there when the fire is on.
