It's a nice clock, especially for the price. The black body of the clock is plastic, but it doesn't look cheap in any way. The clock makes a very audible ticking sound which is nice if you like that sort of thing. It keeps time well and doesn't have to be corrected. The only downside is that the gear movement isn't as visible as one might hope, since the gears move very slowly--but an attractive clock nonetheless. Would buy again!

I do like this clock, and I tried to make it work in our living room; I had the perfect spot for it on our mantel, and it looked great. The minimal, modern design is just perfect for our decor. The problem arose when we needed to see what time it was. The picture in the description is lit from just the right angle for viewing, but we had to do some bobbing and weaving to be able to make out where the hands were. We ended up putting it in our guest bath, and the lighting in there seems to make the clock much more readable. Back to Amazon for another clock!

At first I was very happy with this mantel. It gave us the exact look we wanted, until we stained it. I knew going in Pine does not accept stain great but there is so much wood filler and glue alll over this thing that you do not see when it is unfinished. Then when you rub the stain on there are huge areas that the stain won't stick to. Now I have no choice but to paint it:( Very disappointed.

I received my mantle in great condition. I opened the box and was in awe. I ordered the already stained rustic and for my application, it is amazing. I have to say for my application, if I were to have used only the shelf hanger it would have been very easy install. I chose to use the hanger and the corbels which I had to modify. I love the result though. The corbels in my opinion make the mantle come to life. Be advised it is NOT a solid block of wood. It is a hollow frame of thick pine. I can't be positive but I thought the description said"solid".

I would buy this again. Huge improvement from what the house had.

This beautiful mantel shelf has totally transformed what I previously thought was an ugly fireplace. I almost didn't buy the house because of it. The mantel arrived quickly and was just as described. I opted for a dark stain. The mantel took the stain beautifully. There were a couple spots where the glued seams required a light sanding before the second coat, but I feel that just adds to the rustic charm of the piece. It turned out exactly as I had hoped and adds character to my fireplace.

The mantle was exactly the right size for my fireplace and I like it. It is nicely finished but does not look as "rustic" as I had hoped. The "distressing" is obviously new and too regular to convince anyone the wood came from anywhere except the lumber yard.

Despite that, it suits my needs well as well as my pocketbook. It was quite easy to install and is secure enough to use without the supplied corbels. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a large (5') mantle that is well proportioned and well made.

This is a nice product and I'm pleased with my purchase. It's much more decorative than most tool sets and I like that there's a place to stack wood. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is the handles on the tools are screwed on, not welded, and they often come loose. Otherwise I would have given 5stars.

This log rack was/is a pain. I go through about 4 cords of wood a year, and it's not holding up.

First, the slots for the wood, are tight. 2x4's are made by hundreds of mills, and have sloppy tolerances. The bracket maker should have known this, and labeled the the part as needing tight dimensions. I had to plane all the corners down, AND beat the parts together. I used 9x3 deck screws to tie the lumber together, and the ends still splay out as you load wood into the middle. But it has not broken, so that is good.

And who invented powder coat paint? It's fine till it chips off.

Just put your 2 x 4's in and start stacking wood. A strong cord could be added to top of uprights to help support a waterproof cover if desired, or place in a covered storage area. Works out great for me.

Received this item today Friday January 18, 2013. The item I purchased proclaimed to be wood. Upon opening the package everything is compressed engineered wood with a birch veneer covering. It is far from being Hardwood as stated above. I ;am thoroughly dissatisfied with this cabinet. Why advertise Hardwood when it is a cheap engineered compressed wood, similar to flake board? I would like to send this item back to Amazon. I can't imagine how I could repack it and I certainly would not pay for shipping after being duped about this purchase.

When my husband and I unboxed this unit it had 2 long (over 6" each) scrapes (took off the wood) along the 3rd edge from the top, dead center. Since it was packed so well, we think it happened in the factory and they didn't want to admit it and get in trouble, so they shipped it. We discussed returning this 100lb item for an undamaged one, but I decided we should be able to fix with wood putty touchup. I hope I am right. It took about 2 hours for mostly him to put together. They provided wood glue for the dowels, but it was hard as a rock. Directions could have been better, but they were OK. I like the size, height and hidden electronics shelf (black screen). Not sure what shipping would have cost, but with Amazon Prime it was free shipping, and delivered on the day promised.

The first time I smelled this candle in action I went seaching for the campfire. Found it contained in a little tin on the dining room table. This candle is not good for roasting marshmellows.

This is the most realistic fireplace candle I've tried.. the 1st time I lit it I thought it was a little too realisticit sorta smelled like a bonfire. But the second time I lit it the oils in the wax must have mixed together a little more and it really has a pleasant realistic fireplace scent. It doesn't smell like most other fireplace candles that smell like cologne with a hint of ember.. it has a spicy woodsy scent that you would expect from burning hardwood in a real brick fireplace. I love it and I'll definitely buy another one when this is used up. It makes the electric fireplace I bought feel and smell exactly like a real wood fireplace.

I use these tools a lot. The stand seems a bit unsteady, however, we have it standing up on our hearth and my 2 children (ages 4 and 6) have poked at it and removed tools from it and it has never fallen over.

The tools themselves seem very well made. I really like the "log-grabber" which has 2 prongs on one side and 1 on the other. I have seen some sets where it only has 1 prong on each side; this design is much better and allows for steadier handling of the logs.

The tools work great, and the set looks nice.

with the cooler months coming...I needed this set for my two fireplaces. I wasnt sure of the quality, so i only ordered the 5 piece set and the log holder. BOTH are beautiful. They nicely match each other and arent too bulky if you have a smaller fireplace area. I worried about the 5 piece set not standing up and my toddler getting to the pieces too easily...but the stand is sturdy and the toddler cant readily slip the equipment off the handles (he doesnt know you have to lift them). I was very pleasantly surprised. I use the set everytime i start a fire...and the log holder holds up to 16 split pieces of logs...I will definitely order another set for the other fireplace

This was first backordered, then finally arrived, but in a damaged box which I had to refuse. Amazon was amazing handling the refusal/return, as always. Now finally I have a tool set and a stand with all the pieces but, the whole upright piece leans to one side and one of the hooks is bent but still functional. It appears to be a repackage, as there were some clipped zip ties in the box. I'm still going to take a look at it and see if I can make it stand up straight. It would be a hassle to repackage it and send it back, even though I know Amazon would be awesome about it. Just beware when buying this, it is one of the cheapest fireplace tool sets on amazon so don't expect top quality.

I ordered this and only received the canvas bag. After contacting seller and politely asking them to send frame, I finally got response to send item back, was told that amazon may consider cased closed if I did not contact them within 5 days. Once on phone with amazon I brought this fiasco up and was told that I would have to take it up with another department. The canvas bag sits unused. I would not recommend buying from this company to anyone. Life it too short to spend this much time on beurocrats.

This canvas liner is quite sturdy and fits well into the cart. It cuts down on the mess in the room from dirt and bark bits. The only thing you have to be careful about is to be sure the logs on the bottom are within the little side panels and not on top of them or it causes the whole thing to pull down and unsnaps the liner from the cart. Although the snaps seem sturdy, I would worry that pulling them too many times in this manner might pull them through their attachments.

This Infrared Heater works very well in my 1300 sq ft. home. So far it has gotten down to the mid's 30's and I can heat my whole house with this unit and keep it around 74 degrees even the back bedrooms! I don't even use my new heat pump anymore but I still keep it set to 69 degrees. Another reason why this works so well in my home is because 7 months ago I had insulation blown in my attic and 2 years ago I had new windows put in. The insulation made a huge difference in saving money and holding heat longer in the house. I have all tile floors throughout my home. By having tile floors it will make your home colder so by having carpet this unit would work even better. When I put the unit in my living room and turn it on, it only takes about 5-6 minutes (during the day/ set on high) for it to raise the temp by 1 degree. The unit cycles on and off correctly even at night. For me, there is usally a 1 degree difference between the temp reading on my heat pump (thermostate placed in hallway) compared to the infrared heater placed in my living room. I am more than pleased about this unit. I was amazed how small the infrared heater was but yet it heated up a lot of living space.

This infrared heater will heat up to 1500 sq ft. easy as long as you have good insulation in your home. The most compliants that I have heard about this unit is that it will not heat a garage. Duh! Just about all garages doesn't have or very little insulation. So if your home has poor insulation then don't expect much from this unit or any other unit.

I actually bought mine from TigerDirect because the price was $159-179.99 but TD has been selling them like crazy and has been sold out a lot too. I'm happy that I was able to get one before December month started. My family is also looking to buy a infrared heater and I am going to recommend this one to them. Mine works so well that I am thinking about buy another one so that I can control the heat better.

This Infrared Heater needs 15amps to power it. I can plug it into my living room outlet and everything is fine but I plugged the unit into my hallway outlet which it connected to 2 of my bedrooms and the lights dimmed. 1 of those rooms I have my gaming PC/ 2 LCD monitors with my LCD TV, Surround Sound Theater, and PS3 all running the same time. So if your lights dimms then change the unit to a different outlet. Do Not continually run the Infrared Heater off that outlet because you are pulling too many amps and the electrical wiring is heating up and if your breaker doesn't trip then it can catch fire and burn your house down. Run the unit first during the day to make sure everything is fine before you run it at night while you are asleep. This Infrared Heater is very safe to use but you still have to use some common sense with it.
