The item arrived a day early and I installed it in about 45 minutes. Checked out works as expected. Was going to throw out the Amish fireplace but I am glad I waited. It has a new life now . Will see how long it lasts The others are 3 years old and still running. At least there is a place to buy parts for repair. .

My last blower went out and I thought I was going to have to throw away my electric fireplace. I had a heat surge Amish wood built electric fireplace and we loved it. The blower started making terrible noises, thumping loudly. I knew the blower went and when I tried to get the part replaced through Heat surge they first told me they wouldn't sell me any parts, then told me $90!! I found this on amazon and now my electric fireplace is working perfectly. My kids get up in the morning and turn it on, we run it most of the day as we live in an older house with no insulation. Installation instructions didn't exist, and getting the fireplace apart took some time but taking off the old one and replacing the new was self explanatory and easy.

I have a ventless gas wall heater that needed a little circulation. This unit is so quiet and efficient. I bought an 80 degree thermal switch to allow it to turn on when warm and off when no heat is produced. The unit has a thermostat so everything is automatic. Our house is 115 years old and made of adobe and brick with plaster. The furnace does really well until it gets to be 10 degrees or below outside and the extra heat from this unit is great. Also, I feel better having the backup in case I am away and the electricity goes out. Of course, the little fan won't blow but the pipes won't freeze. The price was great and was shipped well packed. It can be attached with sheet metal screws easily and with the automatic thermostat it is self maintaining.

This Napa Forge tool set is not only beautiful but has the quality workmanship for which I have been searching. Nice and sturdy, thoughtfully well-made, with very nice brushed bronze finish (not pure bronze, if you are looking for yellow coloring but rather dark metal with bronze accents coming through). Quite tall and slightly heavy (both are positives for me) and, as a result, quite stable on the floor, this set does not need a lot of room, but is always at a hand's reach when you need it.

In short as I noted in the review header as good as it gets. Needless to say, I am very happy with the set.

I'm an experienced installer, with 11 years in the industry.

Fortunately this product was purchased for my own home. If I had to bill one of my clients for installing a defective product, the time and money spent would have been substantially greater.

1) Due to the design of the center clips that hold up the bar, it is impossible to overlap the screens in the center, let alone have them meet in the middle.

2) The instructions are confusing, and what photos there are, are to small to decipher what is being described.

3) The 'cool touch' screen pulls were missing.

4) The screen did not fit the 30" high opening. They were too long, even thought the package stated it was for a 30" opening. It is recommended that you "bend the hangar tabs back, to raise the screen". Not only did this crude adjustment not raise them as much as it said it would, if it did, the screen would bind as it is being scraped along the underside of the valance.

5) The telescoping valance is made from flimsy sheet metal that will wound you if you are not careful. The notch formed by the seams make it look cheap and one size fits all.

I hope that I have saved someone the time and frustration of dealing with this product.

Sturdy, heavy, gorgeous stand. But the drawers do not glide on the rail and are therefore wobbly so I cannot put anything in them. Very annoying. The nail would not stay in on the one side when I put it together and the other side was cracked from the delivery, so that one doesn't stay in either. I have tried different wood glues, super glue and liquid cement. None hold it. Annoying that I cannot use the drawers, when that was one of the reasons I chose this one. I also ordered the end table, which is perfect. So definitely needs better packing when shipping.
