This is the second Achla table I've bought. I also own the taller version of this table. One I use for a plant stand the other is a side table on my patio. They are strong, attractive and come fully assembled.

Review of Vogelzang TK-02 Tea Kettle, 3-Quart

I've heard a lot of people complain about rusting with these. You have to care for them properly to avoid that. Properly seasoned cast iron is very nearly indestructible if maintained. When you get it, wast it out, let it dry completely, then wet a cloth in vegetable oil, and wipe on a thin coat inside and out. Bake it at 400 degrees for half an hour. IGNORE THE SMOKE. IT'S FINE! it will smoke a LOT though. Open a window for ventilation. After the half hour bake time, let it cool, then repeat the oiling and baking two more times. When you are done, it's properly seasoned. Redo it two or three times a year. We use ours over the open fire when we are camping. It's awesome to have hot water for tea, cocoa, and even dish washing.

BTW, that seasoning method keeps your cast iron skillets in prime shape too. If any cast iron cookware gets crusty and you cant scrub it clean, put them in an electric oven, and turn on the self-clean feature. When it cools down, wire brush the crud off, and follow the seasoning instructions above, :-)

This is a good heavy tea kettle. I got it to sit on the woodburning stove to evaporate water into the air. My old one finally rusted through after many years, and this seems like it will be a good replacement for it.

This is great as a decorative peace, however not so good as a functional tea pot or humidifier. We use ours on our fire place insert as a humidifier when the fire place is going. It rusted out rather quickly even before I refilled it a sencond time. Buy with caution! I will be replacing mine with a copper or stainless still tea kettle soon.

I received this product a week or so ago, and I am very satisfied with it. That is because I purchased it for the purpose it was made for. As a humidifying steamer pot for your wood stove top! Not as a teapot for brewing tea... So I don't really care if minerals deposit on the inside, or if it even rusts a little! Because it is serving the purpose it was designed for. I'm sure I might have even been able to avoid the rust if I decided to season it with some oil, but I had no intention of cooking anything in it... If you are looking for a teapot to brew tea in, I suggest you buy a teapot designed for that. Buy this one if you want to put it on your wood stove, and add a little moisture to the air. Besides, look at the price! It is one of the cheapest of it's kind out there, and it really has a lot of weight to it, which makes it nice and sturdy. Just saying...

These fireplace doors are built really well and do the job of sealing my fireplace. From my past construction experience, this brand is really popular and is installed in many middle class homes because it is cheap and does the job well. The next step up from this was $550 for poorer quality builds and even $1000 units were no better. Save your money and get this brand instead of the grossly over price fireplace doors some salesman will try to sell you.

Installation was easy and self explanatory assuming you have some home improvement experience. You don't need to hire someone to install this, but someone to help hold and carry it wouldn't hurt.

My only complaint is that the front glass is kind of wavy, but this is normal in tempered glass. The mesh had some dents in it as well.

I used to have a lovely Pottery Barn stand up screen, but not terribly convenient when you light your fireplace on a regular basis. This screen with glass door is perfect and was very easy to install. This is a great product and I got it for an excellent price! Believe me when I say I "shop around"!

This unit is easily installed IF one's fire place has a lintel bar is between 3" and 4" wide, if not the installation requires drilling through the lintel bar and using a supplied self threading screw to secure top to lentil. If there is no lentil at all, as with my case, one has to switch to Plan B. This requires a carbide tipped brick/mortar drill bit, a drill motor and some self threading concrete screws and thre removal of the glass doors. This is where the product needs improvement.

The glass door hinges are fastened to the frame with 8 sheet metal screws. These screws pass through the frame and into oval plates with 2 threaded holes. What GHP Group has failed to do is tack weld these oval plates to the frame. The plates are not clearly visible, there is no mention of them in the instructions, and they easily shift once the doors are removed. Assuming one is even aware of these plates, necessary for tightly securing the doors, there is hell to pay lining them up and reattaching the screws/doors.

This unit is quite attractive and despite the installation surprises, it remains a good investment.

I was skeptical a first with this but i went with it. I am glad I did. First of all the battery was precharged which allowed me to see it light up. Easy assembly and i fit in my existing holder. This does not come with a holder to be clear. It is in the middle of a bed where it gets sun all day. Comes on around 9 PM (Ohio) and this morning I was outside at 6 AM and i was still on.
