I am very pleased with this purchase. The item shipped promptly and arrived in perfect condition. It went together without a problem, although we had to leave the back off to allow for electrical cords. It is a well-made and sturdy piece of furniture, and looks really good in my living room. The glass doors fit well and the remote works through the glass. California summers don't require a fire, but I tried it out and am looking forward to watching the flicker and glow in the winter! I would definitely recommend this item, and after reviewing several other similar options, I feel this purchase was excellent value for money.

It took 2 guys 2 hours to put it together. Everything was fine except for the fireplace insert, a little piece of the metal was bent. Not bad enough to send back,though. I was able to fix it for the most part. Other than that, I love it.

This bucket looks really nice beside our pellet stove, the only disappointment though, was that it arrived damaged. We just turned the bucket so the damage side is toward the wall, but it was obvious that the bucket was sent damaged because there was absolutely no damage to the packaging that it came in.

The fan does move the air, but not near as much as the original blower. This unit is smaller and lighter then the old unit. It is so light that they send "sticky tabs" for the bottom of the unit so that it does not vibrate out of placement under the fireplace gas logs. Air movement is probably about 1/3 the movement as the old unit. Plus the cord to plug in the new unit needs to be about 12-18 inches longer. This unit cost about half of what a new more powerful unit runs. And the saying is true you get what you pay for. In the future I will go back to the original type fan and pay the additional amount.

This blower is small but quiet and moves enough air to heat a small room. Fits almost under any fireplace. You need a thermostat switch in order to make it automatic.

I would have given this plus 5 stars ecause the poem is so beautiful and it says just what I feel about my son as he deploys. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars, yes it is beautiful but I don't think it is $40.00's beautiful. I feel the seller is using a Mother's emotions to jack the price up on this item. This is a sad thing, it's difficult enough having your child in the way of danger and have to pay big bucks for a simple board with a beautiful pray. We have a small house, just under 1000 square feet. Any new appliance has to take up less square footage, if possible, than the one it's replacing. This Bosca fit the bill nicely. I was concerned, though, about a few things before I bought it. Was the hopper big enough to keep the stove burning 24 hours on a minus ten degree day? Was the force of hot air strong enough to warm up the farthest room? Was it easy to keep clean? Was it reliable?

I'll address each concern with answers, now that I've had this stove for one month. I should mention that I do not use this with a thermostat, so it is constantly on.

The hopper holds about 60 70 pounds, and during one very cold stretch that included a night with temperatures hitting 25 below zero, we kept it on medium high all day. The house stayed at 70 degrees with no other source of heat being used. The full hopper lasted almost exactly 25 hours at this rate. This is better than I expected. On normal cold days, say, 20 degrees above, we keep it on low and it lasts 36 hours.

The force of the blower is stronger than that of a stove I had that was designed for twice the area. Far better than I expected.

It is so easy to keep clean that I don't even need to wash my hands after vacuuming it. Because the air intake is from underneath, not through a space adjacent to the front glass as in so many pellet stoves, the front glass stays clean for days. The burn-pot is so ingeniously designed, and this stove is so efficient, that you can burn several bags of pellets before you even think of having to clean the burn-pot. And when you do, you'll see it's a two-part pot: you pull out the U-shaped part with holes, scrape it clean, and place it back into the burn-pot holder. Voila, you're done!

It has never let us down. We can set it, fill the hopper, go away for a day, and come back, and it's firing away beautifully.

Our experience with this stove has made us enthusiastic about looking for other appliances made in Chile.

"Wood You Remember..." firestarters came through pretty clutch for me on a camping trip. The starters managed to get a little wet and lit like nothing happened. If they could start for me then I'm positive they can do the job in any situation. Also, they are made from developmentally challenged adults so I know the proceeds are going to a good cause. A++

I purchased a new Hearthstone Heritage soapstone wood stove which is quite a bit smaller that my old wood devouring wood stove, this mini 4 piece tool set is the appropriate size for my new stove.

The tool set is well made, I have no complaints.

I bought this w/out any reviews; which I never do, however it looks as good as or better than the picuture. The fireplace insert is bigger than most I've reviewed and the flame is fairly real looking. puts off a lot of heat too. The finish is truly a dark espresso.

The only bad thing was many damaged pieces, some parts the wood (particle board) was cracked or chipped. This may not be the fault of the seller as this was packaged nicely, it was likely due to the delievey folks.

I bought this in lieu of a TV stand and overall the fileplace is very nice and holds my 50" slim Sony TV perfectly, like it was made for it. I also purchased a ladder shelf from Amazon to go next to it that hold the TV/Cable components. What a beautiful set up.
