When you light the fire, the glass stones make it look like running water! They are so cool! However, I highly recommend that you buy at least 4 bags. One bag doesn't go very far.

I bit the bullet and purchased this item in blue as well as white. Not much product for the money but it does look great. It doesn't go very far. I purchased "fire pit" glass from another place and it was cheaper but looked it. Wish I could justify spending almost $200 on "glass".

apparently spending $1500 on a fire pit wasn't enough for a complete installation. Sadly, the Outdoor GreatRoom Company does not provide enough 'fire gems' for a proper looking fire bowl. Silly and frustrating omission.

These glass marbles look great in the fireplace; however, the bag didn't go very far. I had read that in previous reviews, but thought I might not need as many. I am ordering another bag to make it look more full.

These Ruby glass gems are very beautiful in a vase, not so much so in a firepit. You can barely see them.

I would probably have given it a better rate but it is missing something that should be there which makes it not work with my fireplace heater. As far as the way it was packaged it was a rating of 5 I'm sure it works fine for one of the Amish Heaters just the wrong one for mine. thanks anyway. i also give it a 5 for the amount of time from the time I ordered it to the time I received it. I'll try and see if I can sell it.

This heater is a lot cheaper than most other similiar models that are out there on the market. It works really well. It's quiet and it heats two rooms of my house very easily. I don't sleep with it on, but I wouldn't do that with any other electric heater. This one has a timer, though, which is good whenever I'm drowsy.

I have no complaints with this item. I purchased it at Wal-mart and not on Amazon, though. I simply wanted to avoid the shipping costs, etc. I priced it at Lowe's and it was ridiculously overpriced! The one listed here on Amazon is about $10 cheaper than mine, but I'm sure the shipping will more than make up for it.

Again, great heater! It does exactly as advertised! You won't be disappointed with it. Don't expect it to heat an entire home, but two or more adjacent rooms is fairly easy work for it, and I'm sure your indoor pets will have no complaints snuggling near it. It's safe to touch, too. The wheels on bottom of it make it easy to reposition without lifting.

I had doubted this heater when it first came. I thought there is no way.. BUT This little heater heats my kitchenliving roomand hallwayI don't know how big it is sq ft wise but I know its not small... in all fairness.. I also made sure of my windows doors and everything was perfectly sealed... It might take a little while to heat all of this if its real real cold... but I am not complaining as it does manage to keep all of this space warm.. No other heater could do it... this one did.. thats what matters.. mine actually broke within a week of having it but it only took an e-mail and they are sending me a new one AND a return label to send back the one that broke.. which means I don't pay the shipping for the broken heater AND They sent it as soon as they knew of the issue NOT when they received the broken heater... this seller is absolutely the best to deal with... A++++

I read the reviews and thought no way. But they were right! This does not heat up a room adequatley.I ran this for hours and hours the room barely got warm then I ran a cheap ceramic heater that did a much faster job heating up my area. The area is well insulated and only 3 years old new construction. The only thing I could say is if you buy this use it in conjunction with ur current heating system or bring the room up to temp then use it to maintain the temp. Other than that DONT BUY IT.

Nice heater, better than most I have bought and returned. Plugged it in and it kicks out the heat, then I read the manual. It is supposed to be plugged into an outlet that is on it's own breaker (dedicated) which I dont have so I would call it not useable unless I want to start a fire as this was in fire precautions. Works well otherwise.

This grate does not work with Java logs. It has so much iron in it that it sucks too much heat away and does not let the log burn to completion, leaving glowing embers for many, many hours.

The wall furnace looked fine when unpacked, but during the installation process I found the combustion chamber had twisted away from the somewhat flimsy brackets on the secondary bracket that mounts on the wall bracket. I am guessing the unit was dropped on a corner during shipping and the chamber assembly twisted free, breaking the rivets that held it and twisting 2 of the 4 brackets. I could have returned it, I'm sure, for a replacement, but a careful examination showed no other damage. We bent the brackets back and securely riveted them. The gas inlet filter also fell out when the dust plug was removed. This was tricky to get back into position properly, so the unit needed to have a brass fitting installed while the unit was upside down. Then the gas line was attached when the unit was back on the wall.

The cut-out template was accurate. I did a drill through the wall and cut the outside vent hole just slightly down from the inside vent hole to allow the required 3% drop for water drainage. Cutting the vent pipe and rod as specified in the directions resulted in a perfect through-the-wall installation of the vent assembly. The vent assembly covers make for an attractive installation outside. Once in place and running, the heater performed very well, easily heating a 1000 sq. ft. apartment. The outside temperatures are about 35 40deg F, so this is not a severe weather environment. The sealed chamber combustion using outside air which is vented back out through a central exhaust vent means there is no chance of sucking air out of the room or exhausting combustion byproducts into the room unless you install the vent assembly below or right next to a window or other opening into the structure. Follow the guidelines and you have a safe installation. That is, assuming the combustion chamber does not leak. I have no way of determining if that will happen over time, but there were no apparent combustion products of any kind coming from the wall furnace when newly installed. Even the normal new-heater burn-off odor was very low.

I could not give this a 5 star rating because of the flimsy internal mounting bracket issue. The unit cover is also made of materials that appear to be thinner than the painted sheet metal covers one usually encounters on furnace cover assemblies. However, for the price, this wall furnace appears to do an excellent job of heating, and the installed furnace is actually pretty attractive.

A must have for the fire pit. I expected something more flimsy. It's actually pretty solid and definitely better than the cheap junk the fire pits come with. The hooked end will work to lift the cover off the firepit. The other will allow for poking, pushing and pulling without worrying about breaking it. It's nice and long too so no worries of getting burned unless you've got a bonfire going in your fire pit... But I think you've got more to worry about at that point.

Good little stove. Looks very realistic and big enough not to be swallowed up by a large room and small enough for smaller spaces. Nice looking flame, puts out good heat. Would be five stars, but mechanism for flame has some mechanical noise, but it is not too obtrusive.

I shopped long and hard for purchasing an electric stove and totally love this one. The majority of them are too short but this one is taller so it looks better in a larger room. I would have given it 5 stars but sadly it only rates 4 stars because the directions for attaching the legs is lacking. Otherwise the stove is very well built and serves and looks great.

This fireplace has been a staple in my living room since I purchased it. The set up and instal was simple. The actual "fire" looks a lot better than anticipated. The heat that it puts out isn't too terrible great, but you shouldnt expect it to be with an electric fireplace. It works great for my living room, which is a medium size. It would be a great fit for an office or bedroom and the heat would be adequate.

I have used Red Devil soot remover for years and it used to remove soot and burn in color due to the copper sulfate in the mix. It still removes soot, but does not produce the colors as in days of yore.

screen came with a crease, feet don't attach properly causing the unit to stand at an angle, paint is chipped, poor quality overall. ended up keeping it simply b/c it does work (then again how could it not?) and its too big of a hassle to return. that being said would likely need to spend significantly more to get anything resembling a quality piece. buyer beware.
