This is so much nicer then I expected for the price. The image is a little off, mine is not as distressed looking as the photo and the color is closer to yellow then white which ended up fitting my table even better. The feet and top finial are white ceramic. The front door swings open and is where you insert the AA battery. The clock mechanism is one of those small plastic ones that sits on the back of the clock face/ door so that leaves room inside the body of the clock to stash something which I like. About the size of 2 packs of playing cards ( secret smoker's can hide a pack of smokes and lighter in there). The hands are more decorative then the image shows as well. The body is wood and the hinges and latch are all even and well fitting. It has been running for 24 hours now and the time is still correct. It is a silent running clock, no audible ticking. For this price you will not be disappointed.

A little on the expensive side and slightly bigger than I had pictured in my mind, but the clock is beautiful. I also appreciate the little hidden storage area in the clock. I haven't used it for anything yet, but it's nice to know it's there. :)

This is a nice flexible hose. I use it to connect my portable garage heater. It comes with the male quick connect on one end & a 3/8 male flare on the other end. It also comes with the female quick connect fitting.

The hose replaces all the connections to my RV LP appliances and the quick disconnect adapts to the low pressure side of the regulator. I am using two of these hoses for my motorhome propane tank and the outside portable grill and stove top that I carry with me. So much better than having a separate tanks and regulators

I just needed a quick disconnect hose for my large burner (turkey fryer essentially, although I brew beer using it). I already had one for my grill. Everything in my system used and needed 3/8" pipe thread. This hose totally delivered. Nothing fancy, but solid construction, sturdy components, and plenty of length at 12 ft. Although one size was the 3/8" flare female (the side opposite the quick connect), it came with a coupler that converted the flare to pipe thread. So everything fit without sending me to the hardware store and now my problems are solved.

I purchased this hose to connect my Weber Genesis grill to my house propane system. The packaging clearly stated that the hose was suitable for use with LP and natural gas. However, the markings on the hose itself only indicated it was compatible with natural gas. Due to safety concerns, I returned it and bought an MB Sturgis hose sold right here on Amazon.com ASIN number B007JYZKKA. The Mr. Heater hose is made in China while the Sturgis hose is made in St. Louis, MO. The Sturgis hose is clearly marked for use with both LP and natural gas and is standard equipment on new Weber natural gas grills.

Received gift for my b-day. Could not wait to get home to set it up which I imediately did. Was the easiest A into Zs I have ever done.

Cleaned the glass, fueled it up with CO-Z FIRE ETHANOL fire place fuel and then set it on my large coffee table.

I poured a glass of wine, lit the fuel, adjusted the damper, turned off the lights to enjoy my new apartment sized fire place. AND wella, I was transported back in time, when fire places had a job to do in the home for warmth, cooking and comfort. I was imediately soothed, and all the tension and stress fell away.

I thought of my dinner parties where I could set the movable fireplace on my bar... the patio, where I eat, sit to relax and swing.... the bedroom............

the possibilities of placement is endless. I guess it can be transported out of the home to anothers.

This is not 5 star because the fuel is very expensive. You can save fuel by damper adjustment, but it still burns fairly quick.

Don't hesitate to purchase this as the pleasure you will have is endlessly worth it..

The odor from the fuel was minimal and not unpleasant to sensitive me.

We saw this in a museum shop in Pittsburgh (for about 25% more!). It is exquisite as a piece of art on our glass coffee table in our living room. Ours came with a funnel and says to fill it 2/3 (or maybe 3/4) full but there seems to be no markings on the fuel-holder thing so I've learned to use a full 8oz. measuring cupful and that works perfectly for us. It gives several hours of lovely ambiance and romantic atmosphere before we go in to dinner. I'm messy and spill a bit. Be sure to wipe up any excess spilled fuel before you light it (with a long match or a long lighter). Buy it. Or go to Pittsburgh and spend $20 or more additional.

And don't expect to fill it tonight and use it tomorrow as the fuel evaporates and it IS expensive.

Not exactly what I thought it would be but it's nice. They should think of adding a filler funnel with the item because you need it to put fuel in it. When you light it and only a small amount of fuel remain you get a woosh... of flame, must be from fumes in the trough. I recommend it with the above comments.

Fast and easy to assemble and mount. Has a sleek & sexy look to it and heats up your room in no time. Definitely one of the best on the market! I have a similar one that is a free standing floor type which works well but not nearly as sturdy built. It does have the convenience of it being out of the way on the wall it takes up floor space so this gives same benefit but having it on the wall is even better and out of the way.

Pros compared to the other ones on the market are:

Pros-

-It works great to heat any area but provides 3 different levels allows you to adjust it to what level heat you need instead of a lot of the other models just have the one level on or off switch only.

Built using real glass, metal, and rocks unlike the cheaper models that use plastic fake glass doesn't look sleek and sexy on the wall like this one does when mounted.

-This has an emergency safety shut off switch which surprisingly most don't have.

-The small easy remote control allows you to conveniently turn it on from anywhere unlike most that manually turn on and off which is a feature most don't have and you will want since its mounted up on a wall.

Cons-

-It's built well but it is heavy so it does need to be mounted to a stud or wall that you can support it like you would a flat screen TV monitor because same weight if not more than a flat screen it's size.

-Again it is heavy so shipping is more costly. (But worth it!)

I even enjoy having the lighted fire screen effect on even when I am not using the heat option with it. It's realistic and stylish look that gives the very realistic illusion of a real looking fire making it work as an interactive art piece as well!

I AM BEYOND HAPPY WITH THIS PURCHASE AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT. Amazing price and you really get way more than what you pay for at this price!!!!!

I am so disappointed with this product. The space alotted in the unit for gel fuel cans is way too small and narrow to accommodate the Real Flame cans that I bought it for. I purchased this item for collection of ash from my wood stove. It serves the purpose and is much less expensive then the ash cans sold by wood stove accessories stores. My one complaint is that the lid handle is spot welded on and broke off. I reattached via bolts and nuts. It should of been riveted on in the same way as the side handles.
