beautiful piece...not that hard to put together...got this piece last december but paid for itself during Hurricane Sandy... no power for 8 days and the weather dropped into the low 30's...with my mom being with us it (with the help of a generator) kept us warm until the power returned

First of all, this thing is heavy. I hope you have a friend to call to help you get it in the house. I seriously feel bad for the FedEx guy who delivered it.

Second, I really appreciate the effort that went into the packaging. Every edge of the box containing the wood parts was stiffened by a hard length of heavy laminated cardboard. Inside the box, every piece was wrapped in a lightweight shipping fabric to protect the finish, and there was a ton of tight fitting styrofoam holding everything together, with more of the stiffened laminated cardboard protecting the corners of the box from the inside. This box could have shot out of the shipping truck, completed two bounces on the interstate and been run over by a semi and the contents would have been flawless.

Third, I'm really impressed with the materials and the ease of assembly. Nice heavy pieces of actual wood, and those pieces that are made from pressboard are made from the very dense, heavy variety with nice laminate. We purchased the dark espresso finish, and its pretty much black with wood grain showing through, a little darker than we expected, but we are happy with it. Assembly instructions were clear, all necessary hardware was in the box, and it went together very easy with a phillips screwdriver.

Overall I'm very happy with this item, the fireplace looks great for an electric, and the furniture aspect meets exactly what we needed. Would definitely recommend.

This entertainment center is such a great piece of furniture with the electric fireplace. It took approx. 1 hour to assemble, my daughter & her husband put it together & everything worked perfectly. It is a real nice piece of furniture and looks great. The only part that took some time is to take each piece out of the large box 2 pieces were very heavy. Once I put all the pieces in the living room it took little time to put together. I would highly recommend this entertainment center.

I love this fireplace but it was slightly damaged even though it was beautifully packaged. The chip is right in the center front of the unit. That, actually, is quite minor and I expect I can repair it with a bit of shoe polish.

What I wasn't expecting is that it is a bit noisy when the unit is turned on. I might have expected that when the heater is turned on, but it is also a little noisy when just the "mood" light is on for the electric fire.

I haven't used it yet to supplement the heat in our small room.

I also wasn't expecting to assemble it although it was easy enough to do.

It was very easy to put together. Ordered the firebox to go with it...Makes my sunroom look fantastic and warm too! Loved the antique finish and the height of the mantel. I had looked online for an electric fireplace and most manels were not that tall. This one is perfect.

This is a better fire place than most but as a TV stand it is pretty average. The construction is good and it is very well made, but the drawers are painfully small and basically pointless. I do have to say though, it doesn't cost very much to operate. Even with the flames going and the unit running pretty much steadily throughout the day and the evening, this is costing only around thirty dollars per month according to what I can figure out on my power bill. I love the realistic look of the flames and that you can set the different settings individually to make just the right fire look. The cord is nice and long and the cabinets are nice. I would recommend it.

We got this coal bucket to use next to the pellet stove. We like it so much that we decided to convert our whole system to coal. Now my days are spent in the mine we made out back, digging coal out of the ground. I am getting short of breath more often, doctor says it is black lung. Kind of a pain, but totally worth it because of this nifty Coal hod that looks great near the furnace!

So maybe I was a little nieve. I wanted something that was good looking and functional. This is clearly designed for looks only.

That said, it still sits on my hearth, but only holds the lighter.

I had wanted a good looking ash carrier. This isn't the substitute.

The can is too small and the 'scoop' isn't usable. It's cast with a light wooden handle. Not designed to actually be used.

I purchased this little fireplace heater for my vintage Comet Travel Trailer. I absolutely love how small and compact it is. It creates a pleasant ambiance and heats effectively without taking up much space. I like that it doesn't overload my breaker and it has 2 heat settings. I can only say that when it's going, it definately brings a smile on my face and heats my small quarters with warmth and character. I would recommend this heater in spite of it not having an automatic thermostat to turn itself off.

I had purchased a different heater from a local store that overheated--after contacting the company, I was sent this replacement heater and loved it--it would be nice if it had a thermostat control, but other than that the flame is very pretty and it also heats the bedroom sufficiently--I liked it so much that I ordered an extra one on Amazon as a gift for future use--I would definitely recommend this heater!

I wanted a small electric fireplace to install in my renovated Classic Shasta LoFlyte travel trailer however, the models I found had displays that were too large and they came in large prebuilt cabinets. During my web search I stumbled across the Comfort Zone space heater/electric fireplace for a great price. It turns out my next door neighbor had one so I checked the dimensions and checked out the fireplace function and was sold.

Once I received the unit I built a faux fireplace cabinet to place it in complete with a faux river rock face and hearth and a maple mantle, it fits perfectly in the rear of the trailer between the couch and dinette and looks and works great. The only thing missing was the fireplace sound so... I downloaded an hour of real fireplace recording onto my Android phone and installed 2 powered PC speakers in the cabinet and Presto! I have the look and sound of a real fireplace. Even if you're just buying it for the heater function alone... this is an attractive unit at a great price!

I recently redesigned my fireplace to have a rounded fireplace box instead of the typical square. I searched for while for a rounded screen that would fit my measurements and style. This was the only one I came across that wasn't out of my budget. It's sturdy (when drilled into place). It even came with doors which have been a plus in style and function. I have no complaints whatsoever with this screen.

I read and re-read this item description and thought that I was getting the SET of panels I needed. The one thing alluding to more than one piece in the description said the "PANELS" fit together... This sounded like it was plural (a SET of panels) to me, so since there was nothing in the description to tell me that this was only ONE piece of the SET, I assumed that it was PLURAL panels... that plus the photo seemed to me to be a SET... this needs to be made CLEAR in the description that MORE pieces are necessary. And there was nothing under it to allude to this need either. Usually when I purchase something that requires other parts to make it work, they are shown underneath, but this item had nothing to indicate that. Now I have ONE piece that I need to send back and have lost money in the process. NOT A HAPPY CAMPER HERE! I usually feel I can trust Amazon's businesses and usually feel confident in purchases made here, but was very disappointed in this lack of description.

These things are the best fire starters I have used. They burn hot and for a long time. I put some in a small semirigid bin in my B.O.B. that I tapped into on my last camping trip. It's just what I was looking for! I hate using tv stands that covers the entire wall. This worked perfectly for me since I don't own DVDs nor plan to collect DVDs. I really don't see a need for DVDs anymore anyway, in my opinion. Anyway, this is perfect for our Samsung LED 60' tv.

NOTE: When you assemble this stand, it comes out to 3 pieces that you have to put next to each other, but it's pretty stable. You can screw each pieces together or keep them as 3. That way you have the option to re-decorate however you want it later on.

This tv stand is amazing overall. I am pleased with the way it looks. It's ideal for those with a long wall. Couple of negatives though: 1) The instructions sucked. It is nothing like Ikea type of instructions. I actually damaged a side of it due to the lack of clarity and took way too long to figure it all out. 2) The drawers that are side by side to one another (right side of the stand), do not sit straight. Therefore, it gives an illusion that the tv stand is crooked overall, as if the top of portion of it is weighing the drawers down. Aside from these flaws, it's a great tv stand.

This would of been a great product, but I ordered it while in Afghanistan, when I got home and put it together, found out all the pieces where not in the box. Was refunded a portion of the price. Delivery was prompt. Packaging was ok, some minor cosmetic damage but barely visible. Instructions were a nightmare, I tried to follow instructions but that wasn't leading me anywhere. Assembling looking at the picture would be quicker.

You get what in the picture; good enough for my receiver (home theater) and a Blue ray player. If you have anything additional then look for something else.

But as far as my need is concerned, look and quality of the product...I am 5star satisfied.

This item ships in two separate boxes(large and small). The larger box was extremely heavy and I think the FEDEX handlers must have dropped it several times because the box was badly damanged. I opened it up and everything looked okay initially, but about 3/4 of the way through assembling the unit I found there were some pieces with cosmetic damage(in places that will be displayed and one broken shelf bottom. There was no way I would be able to dissassemble the entire thing and try to re-box it properly, so we're kind of stuck with it.

As others have mentioned the instructions are not good. The pieces are supposed to be marked or labeled, but many of mine were not and some had been stamped with red ink on the side that had faded so badly I couldn't read them anyway. I did manage to get it together after about 3 hours.

I looked through the instructions for some way to call to get just the damaged pieces replaced but there was no info at all. I got it all put together and it looks nice, but some of the pieces that had damage are the ones that are showing. I plan to go to a hardware store and find a cover up pen or paint to try and hide the damage.
