They had these at my local gun shop and I picked one up for fun. They work really well and are constructed well.

A neat trick is there is an adjustment to raise and lower the size of the flame, if you turn it up then break the piece out of it's housing, you can continue turning it up like a wrench until it is "torched" and you can get a nice 9 inch flame shooting out of the barrel. Just remember to turn it back down or it will leak gas when idle and you will run out of fluid fast.

I purchased the off-white media center. It arrived almost a week early, in perfect shape, not one scratch! Its true--its very easy to put together, looks much nicer than I had expected, the fire does actually look somewhat realistic, it throws out a considerable amount of heat (controlled by thermostat), and I love the remote that came with it. Another bonus is that my speakers fit in the side cabinets so I don't have to look at them AND the louvered doors can be left closed without muffling the speaker sound. The height of the unit is perfect too, I no longer have to prop my tv up on a tray. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that the weight of my 42 inch Vizio made the top of the console sag in the center. Remedied that problem with the "optional" post, but the ad for this product says the console is idea for 50-Inch flat screen TV which I assume would weigh much more than the 42 inch that I have. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

i was very pleased with this purchase. it was easy to put together, my son had it together in an hour. it is a nice looking piece of furniture and the amount of heat it puts out is surprising. the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is it had a small scratch on the bottom piece but it was easily disguised, because of color i took a black marker and ran it over the scratch and it covered it, believe me i am very picky, and all in all i am very happy.

I did tons of research on electric fireplaces and narrowed down to two. Chose the Antibellum model because of the Tv media portion...other one was fireplace mantle only. Shopped around for pricing and found on Amazon for $200 less than others.

I Love this electric fireplace! I live on Cape Cod in a condo so i chose the antique white. It is perfect. Has some distress marks on wood that adds to its charm. The size is perfect and throws off lots of heat! Adjustable thermostat, flames and wood embers make it easy to create the mood. Remote comes in handy when curled up reading...Cabinets have lots of storage space with an adjustable shelf in each. Media shelf is plenty big. I suggest you use the optional center post to prevent sagging from a larger Tv. I have a 32 inch Tv but other reviews stated issues with larger tvs.

Very easy to put together! Materials are very sturdy and definitely not cheap looking.

My fireplace arrived in two boxes in 2 days and two days EARLY!!! Packaging was good. Some dirt smudges on pieces but nothing that shows. Firebox size is really nice looks like an actual fireplace. Small issue with installation of box...two brackets to hold unit in mantle are at the front of box and unreachable to actually screw it. Comes with a slider bar also so that's what I used.

My only issue is that the heater blows from the half top of the firebox (other half is where the hidden controls are) I would much prefer that it blew from the entire width of the bottom and the blower is a little noisy. Some other models have a fire crackling sound and I wish this one did too.. but other than that it is a wonderful addition and highly recommended !

Love this Fireplace. Only reason it gets 4 stars is mine like another reviewer had marks where the paint is rubbed off. It almost looks like it was rubbed of by Conveyor Automation. It is easily repaired with a Sharpee Magic Marker, now it looks perfect.

The firebox looks excellent. It looks better than the Fireplaces I was looking at Home Depot and the furniture store near me.

The On indicator and Heat on indicator Glow bright beneath the Grill, which I did not like, but that is easily remedied as well. I used Black Hockey tape.

The top shelf area has a post in the middle but it is optional to install, which is great because it gives me more room for my Cable Box and PS3 and Controllers.

This is a nice looking fireplace. There was a problem with the shipping, which JM Prime was on top of it to help resolve the issue. They have been great during this process. A few weeks after ordering, we finally go the fireplace. After setting it up, the fireplace looks nice, however there is one big discrepancy. The dimensions on this website is off. I may not have bought the fireplace knowing this. The actual dimensions is approximately 39 3/4"x 39 3/4" x 11". I was really anticipating the 16" depth and approximately the additional 4" in height.

Quick shipping as always. As usual with these build-it-yourself pieces, there is a sea of styrofoam keeping everything protected. Makes a huge mess when unpacking but our piece was in perfect shape despite several gashes in the packaging. Went together in less than an hour and looks great. We had no warped pieces but did find a few books placed under the center back rail helped keep it from flexing when trying to seat the pegs. Once together it's solid and easy to move around. Recommended, especially on sale!

The thought of a tool less build is appealing. The only real pro is it is built quickly in 7 steps.

The unit presses together in several places with plastic pegs preinstalled in one side of a piece being pressed into holes predrilled in another piece. When they mate correctly there is an audible "pop", so perhaps they would hold under lifting by the top.

The top and bottom of the unit are warped. So many of the above mentioned plastic pegs don't press in completely, no audible "pop" makes me feel things aren't secure. All connectors that slide and lock the back and sides together are plastic. There are 4 thumbscrews that hold the right and left sides to the bottom and two legs screw in by hand and tie the center boards to the bottom. These are in addition to the quarter inch of plastic pegs mentioned above. Lastly there are 4 half moon shaped pieces that further secure the sides and back to the top.

Cons:

This feels like it is popping apart when you lift it to move it. The warped top and bottom keep it from securing tightly by not allowing all surfaces to mate and thus not all plastic pegs to seat, leading to the insecure feeling when lifting it. No screws ensure you can't tighten the warped parts down. The upside is that all the weight will be pusing down and one likely won't move it much afer its set. Over all its not worth the money. Pass on this one, I wish I had.

Worked okay, but not really heavy duty enough for an open fire. The grommets on handle melted off during the first use, but were easily replaced with machine screws and nuts. The wooden handle on top tends to catch on fire and the metal clasp on front comes off a little too easily. With that said, though, we have had a lot of fun roasting chestnuts for our neighbors and friends and we plan to make it a neighborhood tradition for Christmas.

Quite simply, it does the job but it is a bit flimsy. A minor thing was the knob was not pre-drilled properly so the knob didn't screw on all the way. Also, the handle could stand to be a bit longer. It got us thru the night but if you are a diehard roaster, invest in a heavy-duty one.

We used it three times and had to throw it out. The first time the enamel flaked off of the outside, which didn't look pretty but didn't seem to be a real problem. We gently wiped the inside of the roaster to clean rather than scrub to preserve the enamel and it seemed to be working, but by the third time I used it we were finding flakes of enamel on the popcorn.

This is a nice, well made metal can. Contrary to what another review implied, the lid locks nice and tight. Actually, the lid locks well onto the can without any need to put the handle in the upright position. Definitely locks well enough to withstand the strongest outside winds without being blown off. In fact, I was sortof mad at first because the lid was so difficult to remove and hurt my hands to do so. Then I found just the right way to pull on the lid with both hands and it comes off without trouble.

I live in the city and just got a dog. I leave this garbage can on my front porch for depositing the bags of dog waste after I walk her. I just put a couple scrap brick pavers in the bottom for weight so the wind doesn't blow it over. Again, I never bother to put the handle in the upright position because the lid locks so well. This can is really perfect for my use and is just what i was looking for. I am sure there are a million other unique uses this can would be perfect for as well. While it seems like a pretty simple item, it's the type of thing you could go driving from store to store looking for and not find anything quite like it.

I'm quite disappointed in Amazon for this switchI thought I was purchasing an item made in the USA. Instead,I got a no-name brand, made in Mexico. It's not a Behrens. That being said, I needed a can with a lid for a diaper pail, and the "fake" can is still the best option I've seen yetit's just made in Mexico, not in the USA, and not by Behrens. While the can suits my purposes, the lid isn't as tight as I was expecting, based on the reviews of the real Behrens cans. Insects would be able to get in without my diaper liner filling the gaps. I'm very unhappy that Amazon advertised one item, and then shipped a different item with a different level of qualityif you look through the rest of the reviews, this isn't the first time they've done this for this product.

I ordered 2 locking-lid cans,one 6-gallon and one 10-gallon, both supposedly made by Behrens. The 6-gallon one is perfect and displays the Behrens label. Very good quality. It deserves a 5-star rating. The 10-gallon one does not show the Behrens label and is terrible. The lid does not lock at all and overall is poorly manufactured. I returned it. Be sure you get a Behrens.

The Diamond Kd Log Bin is heavy-duty, yet still has a relatively small footprint.

Assembly was straight-forward. I did have a slight problem since two of the holes were misaligned, but I was able to apply enough torque to make it line up. As a result, it may have taken 10 minutes to assemble using only the included Allen wrench.

The design is perfect. Loading the wood well over the top is not a problem. The bin maintains its shape without so much as a creak. The paint durability is impressive as well. After 4 to 5 loads of not so gingerly placed wood, the paint is still perfect without apparent scratches or chips.

The bottom line is that the Diamond Kd Log Bin is exactly what I was looking for to accompany my new Englander wood stove. I didn't want ornate, frilly designs, but rather simple and durable. The Diamond Kd Log Bin accomplishes this quite well.

Nice finish but leather seams to be poor quality. What gets me the most is the piece of leather between the two handles that limit them isn't adjusted or quality at all it broke the second day.

My husband and I couldn't believe how "EASY" this was to put together. (Usually we argue when it comes to putting furniture together!!!!!!!) The item arrived in perfect condition and you can't beat the free shipping for Amazon Prime members. The fireplace screen was securely packaged and contained limited parts. After removing the protective coverings, installation was simple. There is no drilling or messy glue to be concerned with. If you can tighten a screw, you can install this fireplace screen! The value is amazing. I encourage, you to visit the manufacturer's website prior to purchase. They are located at From there you can find the owner's manual and it will provide you with the installation instructions. Because there are different sizes available, you should read the owner's manual to understand the sizing options. You should also make sure that your firebox opening is compatible with this product. Do not hire someone to install this for you. I am a 59 year old woman who installed it in 30 minutes by myself. Go to "You Tube" and watch the video while installing it, using the pause button as your progress and you will have it done without any problems or confusion. I love the product. I have gas logs so I might take off the screen doors since I don't deal with sparks and I have no children. I haven't decided. I love how flat it is against the brick and the bifold doors open so you can see the entire fire. I looked at one at a local fireplace store that looks just like this one and it was $450.

We did extensive shopping before buying and decided on this unit because of the product return policy if it didn't work out. It did and I am happy. This set came in just a few days and exactly when promised. Workmanship is very good on the materials the manufacturer selected. The fact it fits a range of sizes is a plus, especially for the savings over a custom-made set. It is simple to install although a rough-faced granite fireplace such as we have did present a bit of a challenge for fastening the set at the bottom (Don't let that worry you. Gravity and a small amount of ingenuity work!). You may need to buy a small package of fireproof insulation to complete your install.

Packaging is outstanding! Set comes well-protected. Be sure to study sizing in the descriptions before purchase. You will need rough opening size of fireplace to make the correct selection.

I bought this after reading all the great reviews on it. And I agree with most points: it looks great, excellent build quality, and arrived packaged extremely well. The only negative I had was the install. As my house was built in the 1920's, the lintel bar (which you are supposed to clamp the product to) was less than the 3 inches deep that the clamp was designed for. In this case, the manual tells you to use the "alternative" installation procedure, which is to drill two holes into the lintel bar and attach the brackets with the self-tapping screws supplied. Well, after drilling three holes, and having the screws basically not biting in all three cases, I gave up and just clamped it as-is. It seems fine unless I purposely reach in and pull down on a clamp, but at the same time I haven't tried seeing how a fire might affect this. Anyway, after spending substantial $ on the doors, as well as $15 on 3 drill bits for drilling through metal (and substantial time/effort trying to install this thing), I'm disappointed that the company couldn't design the bracket to work with smaller lintel bars (or at least supply an alternative one). So buyer beware make sure you check your fireplace before purchasing...
