I purchased these ornaments because they were different than anything I already had on the tree. Plus, I have always been a fan of inspirational words, whether it be on an art piece or an ornament. However, when I received them, I was slightly disappointed and would give them a 3.5 star rating if I could. The first thing to know (at least the set I was sent) are not like the ones photographed here on Amazon. The photographs show that the glitter finish is both gold and silver. Mine are all silver and don't sparkle for some reason. Unfortunately, in my opinion, these feel very cheaply made. That could just be due to the fact that these are made of light tin, as described on Amazon. I would also *really* like to see the word "Love" added to the collection and I was a bit surprised that it wasn't. I go back and forth in my mind about whether or not I will return these. The only reason I didn't automatically do so is because I do love the words and enjoy ornaments that capture that spirit. I sincerely hope this review helps you. Amazon Prime rules again. Got this in two days. Took about 15 minutes to install. Hot air now comes out. My fireplace had a switched plug already built in so it was easy.

It is a little loud but not bad.

I recently bought this for a fireplace made with inlaid stone that's uneven in places. The screen stays in place well enough but it's a tipping hazard if kids pull on it at all. It does have two feet in the front to prevent tipping forward and it's probably a lot more stable on a flat surface. The screen looks good and I like having the doors.

This screen is total crap. Just got it today, and set it up. Was not as described. First of all, there is a swinging lock on the front of the two doors. Not a bad thing, just didn't expect it. Second, the legs are small and completely worthless. They do nothing to prevent the screen from tipping over. Third, the panels WILL NOT STAY FOLDED. Instead, they continuously fold straight, and since the legs are worthless, the whole screen keeps falling. And if you do manage to get it to stay standing, as soon as you open the doors, the weight of the doors plus the swinging lock causes the entire thing to fall down. Very light and cheap-feeling. I was utterly disappointed, and returned immediately.

We've had this up for about 8 weeks now. Only adjustment was that I needed to add one small washer where the legs attach so that it doesn't tip forward on our rustic brick hearth.

Very pleased with appearance and ease of building fires behind it.

After doing some research on sets like this one, I was under the impression that this particular product would hold up best in outdoor conditions. It had rust forming on it within a week of being outside (under "normal" weather conditions). I have had this for a while now (more than a year) and It is now completely rusted. I still use it however, even though it doesn't look like stainless steel anymore. One twisted handle does now have a break in it (I don't know exactly when that happened) It wasn't from use, it just snapped. Again, it is sturdy enough that I still use it, but don't expect it to retain the nice stainless steel look it has when new. That look will not last long outside!

I cannot speak firmly enough when I say do not buy this item. I got this as a present to keep my apartment warm. It was cute and easy to use so it seemed perfect. The first time I used it, it made strange noises, like a popping sound and it smelled funny but I figured it was just "settling" and that the smell was dust or something burning off. I used it for about an hour. The next night I lit it up and was watching tv when my boyfriend came over and said that my apartment interior was hazy and smelled like chemicals. We looked at the fireplace and noticed that the coating on the outside was bubbling and flaking away. We tried to put the fire out by closing the lid on the little firebox part but it had become warped by the heat and the fire just burned around it. We eventually did get the fire out but my apartment smelled for two days afterwards. I will be returning this. The smell of the fumes made both my boyfriend and myself sick. I got the fireplace to keep my apartment warm and ended up having to have my windows open to get the fumes out. In a smaller space, I think the fumes would have quickly become overwhelming and hurt someone.

To be clear, this was not the smell of the ethanol burning, it was a distinctively chemical smell and my apartment was actually hazy.

Bought this fireplace about a month ago and have used it at least 5 times. Looks great in my mid century modern home. Did not have any problems with melting or smells. Brings great atmosphere. Easy to assemble, easy to use.

We purchased three different wood stove thermometers, (we have two wood stoves): 1. First we purchased this "Rutland" at our local ACE hardware. This thermometer seems accurate but is difficult to read without getting very close, because of the colors. 2. Then we purchased a "Meeco Red Devil" thermometer from Menards. This thermometer had an attractive white background that was very easy to read without getting very close when we bought it. However, after using this "Meeco" product for a few days, the attractive white background turned a light tan/brown that is difficult to read without getting very close. Also this "Red Devil" thermometer showed about 100 degrees hotter than the "Rutland" thermometer. 3. Finally we purchased the "Inferno" thermometer from Amazon.com. We found that "Inferno" registered the same as the "Rutland" thermometer but is much easier to read from an comfortable distance away. The Inferno has kept its original attractive colors. We recommend the "Inferno" as the best choice.

I've had several of these, and they lose all accuracy (and they seem to start with precious little) after a season, and even within one. I have put two side by side on my stove and they'll differ by 200 degrees Fahrenheit. I'm going to try a different brand.

Very "cool" thermometer. Pardon the pun, but it is essential for monitoring the fire rate of your wood stove. Easy to read and understand. Made of heavy duty steel. The magnet which holds the thermometer to your stove pipe is very strong. This is important since a magnet looses some of its "stick" as the temperature rises. Well defined burning range indicator. Fast temperature change indication. Very good buy.

You get what you pay for here; nothing flashy, but an effective little stand that's easy to put together. On the quality side, it's more or less comprable to O'Sullivan products.

I needed something tall so that my cable box and dvd player would be visible above a certain range. This stand looked perfect, as Amazon has it listed at 24" in height. However, when the package arrived, it noted that the stand is only 21". This actually renders the second shelf useless in my case. And there are a lot of other stands out there that I could have considered in the 18"-20" range.

Returning an item like this is more or less impossible, as disassembling and trying to repack it in the small container it was shipped in would take more time and effort than it's worth.

This tv stand is attractive,gets the job done,and is inexpensive to boot.The big advantage is its being on wheels allowing easy changing of position.With my tape measure it is 22 inches high and 30 inches across,so it would not be suitable for very large tv sets or for those who have a special need for a higher elevation.I had no trouble fitting my 17 inch cable box on the shelf,but anything wider than that would not fit.

The stand is wonderful. I purchased it for my bedroom and watching/using the tv from bed. The height is perfect and the shelves are helpful. My only fuss is the slots are to small for dvd's or video game cases. In order to fit anything in I had to remove all of the slots and just use a blank area to stack them. But I still think it's perfect for a bedroom tv stand.

The cart is the right size for a 26-32 inch flat screen. Easy to assemble, attractive, and seems durable. The CD slots were useless for my application. Purhaps in the future they will upgrade the slots to fit DVD packaging.

One corner of the box was crushed so the corners of TV stand pieces were also damaged. Son, anxious to have TV stand, didn't care and put together anyway...... backwards! Guess he didn't realize it was made for use in corners. Directions (pictures only) were not easy for him (21 year old) to follow. It actually doesn't look bad with the cut corners at the front. In spite of being misbuilt, it is a sturdy TV stand and will serve it's purpose for use in the basement TV room. The useless plastic holders were purposefully left out. What I don't understand is why it was designed with CD size holders and not DVD or game case size! Fits game systems without any problem. Games were stacked in side openings where the plastic holders were supposed to be inserted.
