My fireplace is small! Candles were too high up so I took the hacksaw and cut the feet off the tallest ones. It still stands due to the accordion design (yay).

Also, like another review said, candles are hard to put on. I used a drill to make the holes first..much better!

Thirdly, added glass bead/blobs on top of some foil and my unsafe fireplace is a joy!

Amazon Prime rules again. Got this in two days. Took about 15 minutes to install. Hot air now comes out. My fireplace had a switched plug already built in so it was easy.

I bought this item for my master bedroom, which it the coldest room in the house. It is very easy to put together, though having someone help is not necessary it makes it easier. I run it every evening throughout the night and it keep the bedroom toasty and we set the logs to the lowest setting for the warm glow. The fan is a bit loud, but not so much that it keeps me awake.

Wood and fire look totally fake! Only yellow glow. Not red and flickering like some I've seen. Heats well but no thermostat. It will go to auto but you have to manually turn it down when it gets to a temp you want to maintain. If we hadn't already thrown away the box we would have returned it. But at least the cabinet is pretty and it does the job for the price.

Very disappointed with this product!! Flames and logs are very unrealistic and disappointing to look at. The wood box and color are nicer then the actual fire and logs. The blower motor makes a lot of noise while on, sounds like it is going to fall apart and stop working. One of the fluted columns were damaged upon taking out of the box. I could overlook the wood damage if the flame and logs were more realistic as advertised. If it didn't take so long to put together and then take apart to send it back I would. The red lights on the switches are annoying. Should've went with one of the products at Lowes. Oh well, live, buy and learn. Will definitely give this one away and purchase something else in a few years. Will try to get my moneys worth. I will say, the heater puts out really good heat and the thermostat works great. Scale of 1 to 10 I give it a 2. Heater is nice. If you're looking for an electric unit, after having this one, go to Lowes!

I attempted to put the fan into the fireplace and it was over 1/2" too big to go into the opening! I packaged it up to return and was shopping for a smaller unit. As I was measuring the opening to ensure the next one I ordered would fit, I realized that I may gain some clearance if I removed the screen and glass from the fireplace. I removed the glass and screen and then measured the opening. I gained about 1/2" clearance so I unpackaged the fan and had to figure out a way to get it in. It finally squeezed in... Why am I saying all this??? Because I'd hate to see people return the fan after the initial attempt. It is a great unit and really pumps the air out and is very quiet. The instructions were easy to follow and it was very easy to install, once I got the fan squeezed in.

The unit arrived quickly, in a well packed box, with all the contents and complete instructions included.

It did not take long to install. Just remove the bottom grill on the fireplace and slide the fan in. My fireplace (DV6000) already had a place for the temp sensor and the variable speed control, so it was really easy to install. I turned the fireplace on, and in about 10 minutes the fan unit started to run (it has to reach 110 degrees). I had it set on high, and it seemed to move allot of air which is very good. It sounded a loud, so I turned down the speed, and noticed that the fan motor seemed louder at lower speeds. The motor has an annoying loud hum. I am going to contact the supplier, to see what the problem is. Based on a review from another reviewer, the unit is very quiet. Either that reviewer is deaf, or there is something wrong with the fan that I got.

UPDATED: I contacted the seller, and told them of the problem. They were both friendly and helpful. They offered to exchange the unit, and I decided to give it a try. They sent me a prepaid return label, I returned the unit, and received an exchange a few days later. This exchanged unit is very good...no loud hum. I recommend this product and this vendor to anyone.

I installed this in the original EOM location on my Quadrafire Wood Stove. The fan is unbelievably quiet, really produces a good air flow. Had no issues with the install, I just snipped the power leads from the old motor and installed snap connections, hooked them up to the new blower unit. Put everything back in the blower cabinet, and put it back on the stove. Ran first time with plug in and I was able to keep the OEM reostat and wiring. Recommend this unit over the EOM unit. MUCH much quieter and 1/2 the price!

I installed the fireplace blower myself but had to confirm the wiring with the technical department at the seller. It came with instructions that were for Heatolator Unit but this was a Canadian made knock off. After assurances on how to connect the electrical hook up, thermal switch and fan control I installed it fairly quickly. It turns on about 10 minutes after the fireplace is lit. It will remain on until the fireplace cools as well. My only problem is that it makes too much noise it whistles even when set on the lowest speed setting. I am going to follow up with the seller tech and either fix this or hopefully return it.

I paid for this product and never got it because they had it priced wrong. They sent me an email that said that they refunded my money and they were having it shipped back to them. I talked to them saying i paid for this product and it was mine how can they just take it back. I said if I went to Walmart and bought something and as I was walking out they said o sir we did not charge you enuf for the product and we are going to take it out of your cart and give you a refund. I know they would not do that because that would be bad customer service.

This is our second Classic Flame purchase. We wanted a smaller, portable unit for the bedroom to add warmth on cold nights. We have been very pleased with this unit! Comes with a remote control or, you can use the control panel buttons, both activate the automatic on-screen function indicators (indicators fade out when not in use). The flame is very realistic, there are 5 brightness levels so you can choose the desired flame intensity. The heater has 11 thermostat levels to cycle through (62, 64, 66-82 degrees), or turn the heater off and enjoy the ambiance. Also has a timer ... what a great idea! You can choose from one of ten timer settings: 30 minutes, or 1-9 hours. We turn the fireplace on 70 degrees and set the timer before we head up to bed ... the room heats up very quickly and is warm toasty when we arrive. Because the timer is set, the unit turns itself off after we're asleep. The cabinet is very pretty, too. The top has the look of inlaid wood trim which adds a very nice touch! If you're looking for a smaller, attractive fireplace/heater consider this unit. I was looking for a quality log carrier. After reading the reviews for various log carriers, this carrier appeared to be the best for the price range I was looking for. The carrier arrived a few days after I ordered it and I was very satified with the construction and size. I have used it numerous times in the few weeks I have had it and have found it to be extremely useful It makes carrying the wood into the house so much easier than carrying it in my arms. We have a fieplace wood burning insert and have a fire almost daily from morning to night. I have used it quite a bit with no problems. The material is heavy enough and the handles are attached very well. I recommend this product to anyone.

I own this in Oak. Mine uses the gel. This will be my 3rd fall/winter with it. I love it. I do not use it daily as that is too expensive because of the price of the gel. I use occasionally at the start of fall to take the chill out of my room and on cold winter days when I want the feel of a warm cozy fireplace. I recomend this especially if the electric goes out in the winter. It will not heat the whole house or anything but if you put it into a bedroom or smaller room with some ventalation and close the door, I am sure it would keep the room warm. Not hot, but not freezing.

I've only used this vacuum for a month and a half and so far it is working fine. The ashes are easily suctioned up and clean up is easy. Just unlatch the top, remove the first filter and dump the ashes in the trash. However I would say its not a very powerful vacuum. Don't look to suction up any thing more than the ashes. Also the vacuum comes with almost no attachments. All you get is one metal pipe attachment and a smaller plastic nozzle type attachment. I would love if it came with a smaller hose attachment to really get the small parts of my pellet stove. But with that said the price is low and it does it's job!
