I'm very pleased with this ash bucket. It's quality construction and a nice size. Although I build fires fairly frequently, I can go for a couple months without having to dump the ashes. I leave it outside on my back patio and it's heavy enough that it's never tipped over.

There isn't a lot of exciting stuff to write about an ash can. This one is well made and feels solid, and the lid fits snug and keeps my dogs' snouts out. No idea why they like to munch on charred wood, but thankfully now I don't have to clean that mess anymore. Having the shovel attached to the can is a nice plus.

I ordered two of these cute sets for my son and my nephews and boy was I disappointed. It was NOT at all what was on the picture, nor on the label. It was supposed to be a Xmas tree, presents and fireplace (as pictured), but instead it was a Xmas tree, snowman and boy and girl. It still was cute, but not at all what was represented and certainly not worth the money. I expected more.

I have this saying right above my bed in my room. It reminds me of my own strength and ability to persevere through all kinds of trials and troubles. The letters rub off of a sheet onto the wall. You have to make sure the letters are rubbed off completely before pulling the backing off or you will have letters sticking to the backing. It's no big deal if you are patient and do it slowly. I love having the sayings on my wall! It's beautiful!

I did modify the assembly a bit. There were two bars that were suppose to go on the inside of the screen. If I installed it this way the screen would not be flush to the wall. I reversed them and the screen rests a bit against the tile. Looks great. A big improvement from the shinny brass one that the glass shattered.

I bought this product years ago at my local home center. Loved it! Then they discontinued it in favor of the smaller single use type. To get the same number of uses from those single use ones, I'd need 24 of them. The cost of 24 was 10 TIMES greater than this 2 lb. tub. It couldn't be any easier than opening the tub, remove one scoup full, toss it into the fire! I guess others have money to burn as well. I like this product so much I bought 6 of them. There are probably many families using wood burning stoves in America. This product really works in reducing or eliminating the dangerous effects of creosote. I have been heating my whole house for 31 years, and I have used this product (or similar brand) for all of these years. I only have to clean my chimney once a year, and I only get one supermarket bag of a granular residue. I have never had a chimney fire. I had ordered 3 containers a few years back, and I might stock up on a few more to have on hand.

Have been using this product for a few years now and can't recommend it enough. It works great!

We use a wood stove 24/7 from about November March follow the manufacture directions. Come

spring when we dismantle the stove/smoke pipe there is very little residue remaining. Prior finding

this product we had to "shut down" the stove about once a month to clean out the creosote build up.

But not any more even when using not so "seasoned" wood.

I had a glaze creosote in my clay-lined chimney that would not come off with brushing. The glaze was so hard, I could barely scratch it with a screw driver. I used the product over about 10 burns and brushed the chimney the next day. I received this as a gift and am delighted with it, not expecting it to be a source of heat, but more for atmosphere and looks. It is smaller than I expected (so take note of the measurements), which is fine with me, and not very heavy (also fine with me). The copper color is also somewhat darker than indicated in the picture. It took us 15 minutes tops to put it up, including drilling. The kit comes with a metal cover that lines up with all the 3 gel fuel containers so that you can easily put out the flames. I found that if you leave this sitting there, you can then put jar candles on and that looks great too. The black background reflects the flames nicely, and the fire from the gel fuel even crackles. One can burn just the one can in the middle or the two outer ones (for symmetry) or all 3. Because it is recommended that the cans are shut again after use to prevent evaporation, one should have a screwdriver or something similar close by to reopen cans, also some place to put the lids of the cans, unless one plans to burn all fuel in one shot. Lighter with a long handle is also handy.

I purchased this wall-mount gel fireplace as a Christmas present, and I (as well as the recipient) couldn't be happier!! As another reviewer wrote, it is not as "shiny" as it appears in the photo. But in my opinion, that's a good thing!! Probably the most accurate description of the color would be "brushed antique copper."

Color aside... the size is exactly as specified; it was delivered within a few days and was well packaged to prevent damage. It's solidly constructed yet very light weight, which makes it's super easy to hang on the wall. In fact, it weighs only slightly more than a comparably-sized piece of framed artwork.

It's important to note that it does not come with any gel fuel, and it's hard to find the fuel online in small quantities (expect to spend $50+ for 12 cans or $70+ for 24). But don't let that stop you... the fireplace comes with a cover for the gel fuel holes so you can simply use regular pillar candles.

And lastly... It's not designed to be a primary heat source! But it puts out the same amount of heat as a full-sized gel fuel fireplace at a fraction of the cost. And it can be put on pretty much anywhere... patio, dining room, bedroom, bathroom, office... wherever!

All in all, I have only positive comments about this product. I'm ordering another one!!

I bought this fireplace to use outside on my pool patio. We had a chiminea out there, but it made so much smoke and I couldn't enjoy the ambiance of the fire because of the smoke blowing in the face. I bought this and a case of the gel cans which produce no smoke at all!. It was easy to hang. We used it many times in the cooler months and it was awesome. It is really for someone who just wants the effect of a fire burning. It does not really produce much heat. Very romantic for the evening hours. The 3 cans will burn for about 3 hours.

It's very light and quite easy to install. I would suggest that you place a strip of masking tape on the back to trace out the mounting holes. remove the masking tape and place on the wall , then just drill through the tape. That solves the problem of aligning the holes.

The surface is not real copper but it's nicely finished and goes well with dark wood and leather furniture in the room. Overall, a handsome piece.

The manufacturer's description "copper finish" and photos led me to believe it was copper color. It isn't. It has no shine and is a dull bronze shade of painted steel. I bought it at a retailer with an "O", returned it, and wrote a negative review, but they must censor reviews as it was never published by them. I can see Amazon publishes negative reviews and I thought this was a way to get the word out. The good news is I bought the stainless steel version instead and it is beautiful and much more solidly constructed.
