I ordered two of these cute sets for my son and my nephews and boy was I disappointed. It was NOT at all what was on the picture, nor on the label. It was supposed to be a Xmas tree, presents and fireplace (as pictured), but instead it was a Xmas tree, snowman and boy and girl. It still was cute, but not at all what was represented and certainly not worth the money. I expected more.

Fuel burns clean. We use it in a portable fireplace in a yoga studio and there is no appreciable smell to the fuel when burning and there is only a slight smoke smell when extinguished. Unlike many of the bio-ethanol products it appears to be mostly ethanol and iso-propanol. There appears to be no methanol content and as such the unburned product smells more like moonshine compared to the methanol which smells more like acid.

We tried the fuel out in our Brasa fireplace last night. It works very well and burns clean. There is a slight smell, however nothing overwhelming ...use the differenct scents to lessen the fuel smell. This does give off some heat, which surprised us..

This fuel is hard to light, but once it gets started it Burns beautifully and without any odor. It is an improvement over the fuel I was using which was volatile. I'll take slow lighting over unpredictable spattering.

I love this little electric fireplace heater. The fan makes it even better than the oil filled radiator type in many cases because the heat gets distributed so much better. Looks great. The only negative is the bulb for the 'fire' seemed way too hot so I took it out and replaced it with a smaller wattage (maybe 7 watts) so the back wouldn't get so hot. You can't even tell and my 'flames' flicker very nicely still.

I highly recommend this little unit for smaller areas. You'll love it!

I bought this item from New Life Electronics Surplus3, and it was NOT the same item pictured. I deleted my seller feedback because I also had refund issues which were resolved, but I still feel that anybody looking to buy this should know that this particular seller may not send you the item as advertised. The product I received was a completely different model so it did not have faux marble on the front, the dimensions were not accurate, there were no instructions included in the packaging, the remote was damaged, and this thing ran our energy bill up at least 50%. I was promised a new remote, which I did not receive. I was also promised a partial refund initially by the seller, which I never received, and then Amazon issued a full refund but it took quite a while to appear on my credit card bill. The seller, upon receiving negative feedback, began to call my phone several times a day without leaving a message and they also e-mailed me several times complaining that my negative feedback was hurting their business and that my problem was actually with Amazon, not with them. My refund issue has been resolved, but please be aware of these other issues before ordering this item from that seller.

very satisfied with product, flame looks very realistic. heater works well although blower does not blow really hard, but it is quiet. it heats the room good enough as a supplement to the furnace when needed. would happily buy again.

Their customer service was outstanding. The look is very, very nice. But I had to do my own replace a part on the first day.

I have tried two other manufactures,similar units but they all make too much noise. If the room is quite, you can hear the motor...very annoying. But it does look nice with the TV on.

Had numerous problems with the table. The biggest problem is that the predrilled holes that you use to connect the various pieces are not lined up with the connectors and it does not fit together. One hole is about 1/2" off where it's supposed to be. I've tried using it in other orientations to get this to work, but it doesn't. The instructions are terrible and do a horrible job of illustrating how to connect the legs to the table itself. Luckily it does become readily apparent how the thing is supposed to connect after a little trial an error. The top is flimsy as the wood portion is clearly separate from the vinyl and you can see a height difference. The storage ottomans weigh almost nothing so it's pretty clear that it's just a bunch of plywood with some thin covering. I'm sending this back to Amazon.

This was exactly what we were looking for! We have a "U" shaped couch and really needed a small coffee table, but were also looking for somewhere to put our feet (besides the table!). This is beyond what we even knew was out there...the table is beautiful, the ottomans are super comfortable and have ample storage within. The material is soft and looks very high class. The table seemed pretty straightforward to put together. I just love people coming over now, b/c they have somewhere to put their feet up and relax!

I was so excited to order this product as we have very limited space. Overall the product was what I expected, but the construction is really poor. I would have sent it back, but it was to much of a hassle. We ended up putting a custom cut piece of glass on top to cover the poor quality. The cubes were equally poorly constructed with many of the assembly screw holes in the wrong places. We had to improvise to get the cubes assembled. Many of the seams on the cubes were not right either. We are using it, but totally not impressed!

The shipping was great but the product was poor quality. Please don't waste your money on this. The cubes were okay but the table is wobbly and the table top is cheap looking wood laminate. There are better tables out there.

The screen arrived in a cardboard box that was pretty beat up. The screen itself is very lightweight, very cheesy looking. The "finish" was worn across the entire top of the screen. I knew this wasn't solid brass, but I expected something that at least looked decent from a distance for the price I paid.

Though it would be nice to have a solid polished brass fireplace screen, this product certainly fits our needs. For the price, it looks quite attractive and provides what we wanted in safety. It sets off our polished brass in our living room and serves the purpose to protect against accidents for our granddaughters. Quick service on delivery as well.

We were surprised. Pleasantly.

A weighty, perfect model of this classic screen would certainly not be available for anything close to the price of the Uniflame model, but the Uniflame looks amazingly good anyway. This thing does the trick!

We bought it to replace an "original" solid brass model costing nearly $500 (and it's cheap construction design eventually giving way to its heaviness when moved). As long as someone doesn't examine the new screen from close-up, it actually looks better (not really terrible at all close-up), and it's lighter weight makes it easy to handle.

Purchased this screen last week and it came with noticeable scrapes across the top. The box it came in was gigantic with plenty of packaging material, but the screen was packaged loosely at the bottom. However, since it was in another smaller box, I'm thinking that the scraping was there to begin with, and not from shipping. Still deciding whether to go through the trouble of exchanging it since another reviewer said they had the same damage. I wouldn't want to risk getting another with the same damage and I really need a screen right now. Other than the damage, it's a very nice screen.

This is an excellent fireplace screen for the price. I was somewhat surprised at how light the screen is as compared to other fireplace screens I have in the house. You certainly won't have a hard time moving it away from the fireplace. I actually purchased it to put in front of a gas fireplace in order to make the fire look more authentic and it does the job !

I purchased this as a gift for my mom who has always wanted a fireplace.

It was bigger than I expected... the rock base is a solid piece of rock and it is quite heavy.

It produces a nice big flame, but seems safe.

It crackles like a real fireplace and throws off some decent heat. You can't heat a room with it, but you can feel it if you're close enough.

If you like fire, but can't afford a real fireplace, this is a cool option.

This item looks and burns eactly like the pictures in the advertisement. While only intended to be decorative, it does put out a reasonable amount of heat, so my wife can be warm on her end of the couch and I can be comfortable on mine. It has a low odor and pleasant crackling sound as it burns. I have one minor complaint. It will burn only about 2/3 of its fuel before it will no longer function. This is a venting issue. But the fuel is easily scooped out and placed in another partially used can with a spoon, so this is certainly not a show stopper. All in all, a very nice room accent.

This little fireplace cheers up so many cold evenings at my house! We don't have a built-in fireplace at our house...but this one is great. It crackles, the flame is actually quite high, and it seems to be very sturdy (have used it for 3 years now). The glass does get sort-of black/sooty, but I think that's just what happens with fire. You can (mostly) wash it off). You do need to buy the gel fuel cans, which can be pretty expensive. I buy them here on Amazon...have never been able to find them in stores. They're about $2-$4/can, which lasts about 4 hours or so. Still, it's worth it...we don't have a "fire" every night, but once a week or so, we have one. We use this fireplace inside with no problems, though the flame is pretty high, so with little kids it might be an issue. We have 3 dogs and have only had 1 or 2 "close calls."

Friends who come over always love this thing. Everyone wants to know where to buy it. I got mine a long time ago, so it's nice to know they're still selling it!
