I bought this little shovel for use in my chicken yard, and am quite pleased with it as it is very sturdy and well made, and much better quality than previous ones I have owned. I believe it will last a long time, as it has a nice galvanized finish.

I kept wondering what I could use to scoop charcoal out of the bucket and into my grill. Couldn't find the right size scoop. Then I found this. Works great. Perfect size. Bonus: I also use it to clean out the ashes.

I'm real cheap. I bought this to scoop up and save the coals from my grill.

The shovel is a light weight galvanized tin I suppose. It's not real sturdy for doing anything heavy. But it's plenty good for the light work I put it to. If you keep it clean and dry, it should last for several years. The handle is long enough to keep from getting burned by the hot coals.

I paid less than $4 for the shovel, and less than $2 for the shipping. I didn't know anyone shipped for that amount. If they can ship a small shovel of this size for under $2, it makes you wonder why other things cost so much to ship.

I give it 5 stars because it fits my needs very well. A four year old kid digging in a sandbox with heavy wet sand could probably bend the scoop part of the shovel. The round, rolled handle is a little sturdier. If you let ash, or other material that could stay wet, stay on the shovel, it will probably rust up fairly fast. But even then it should last a few years.

This shovel is light enough to easily control with one hand. The handle is long enough to let you stir the coals and not scald your knuckles. The handle is short enough to stay out of the way. I can ask for little more in such a reasonably priced tool.

Besides looking great, it's cool to see the smoke come out the chimney. Warning: Never use incense charcoal in this fireplace. The heat is way too hot and it will crack and shatter the fireplace. I know because I was dumb enough to try it. But I did like it enough to order another one.

very satisfied with product, flame looks very realistic. heater works well although blower does not blow really hard, but it is quiet. it heats the room good enough as a supplement to the furnace when needed. would happily buy again.

Their customer service was outstanding. The look is very, very nice. But I had to do my own replace a part on the first day.

I have tried two other manufactures,similar units but they all make too much noise. If the room is quite, you can hear the motor...very annoying. But it does look nice with the TV on.

I ordered this from another source knowing that it did not come with the actual fireplace insert. Then I ordered the 18EF023GRA insert from Amazon (instead of the insert listed in Amazon's description) which worked great in this and is definitely a step up from the one listed to get and even at a lower price! I was very impressed with the quality of this stand and how sturdy it was. This is a substantial piece of furniture that looks great and will do the job nicely. The fireplace just really sets it off into something special. Just take your time assembling it from the nicely packed box using the very clear instructions, and I think you will also be pleased with the end result.

I live in a coastal region where it rarely gets cold enough to use my fireplace. Even if it did get that cold, I have a central heating system that defeats the purpose of using a fireplace. But since I have it, I figured I may as well make it look nice instead of letting it just sit and collect dust. This toolkit was part of my plan to decorate the fireplace and make it look presentable to whatever guests may visit. What I like most about the kit is that it's relatively inexpensive and a breeze to put together once it arrives. I looks very nice next to my brick fireplace. My only complaint and I wouldn't even call it a complaint since the toolkit is mostly for show is that the broom bristles are very rough, and a few fell out as I was putting the kit together and placing it. But since I have no intention of actually using the toolkit (maybe once every blue moon), I can't imagine it's going to be that big a deal. It seems to hold up as long as it's not in motion. However, if this is a toolkit you actually plan on using and using often, the broom bristles may be something to consider. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase. The package arrived on time and intact, it was real easy to assemble, and my lil ole fireplace has never looked better.

The Real Flame Snuffer, is excellent. It is well made and very simple to use. It allows you to snuff out the flames and allow the cans to cool before you close the lid. So that the flammable material stays fresh. A great addition to my little fireplace.

works good, i use it for outdoor gel can candles. The flat base is a tad bit of a small circle, i would have preferred a larger circle than what is provided to top the can. With a little of a back and forth motion however, it does the trick.
