In the photo of this product, it showed that each holder has a pin to secure the pillar, but when I received it the package, it didn't have that. We're still keeping it anyway because maybe one day we will want to replace with battery-operated candles for safety if we have kids. Other than that, I think its simple design is elegant! I use pillars in two different heights to make it even more interesting and not too uniform.

Producd was just what I expected and shipped very quickly.There were no pins in the candle holders to stabalize wax candles but that was fine with me because I planned to use "Flameless" candles. Size and candle elevations are just right for my 3" round by 4" high candles.

When the box arrived, the same picture was shown there as well and I couldn't wait to hang it up and then snuggle in on the couch with a "fire" and a good book. I will say that set-up was easy it was well packaged and the directions were easy to follow.

However, this unit never made it onto my wall. We plugged it in to test it out and the "flames" just looked like blinky orange LEDs. WAY disappointing.

The case and external presentation is relatively attractive; it does work nicely as a space heater in a smallish space. If the "realistic LED flames" were not so horribly awful, it would be a nice addition to many a room.

However, the "flames" are just dreadful. They are orange ribbons, ala the northern lights, that stream from the bottom of the frame upward, kind of like staring at the yellow lines on the highway but upside down. In an effect similar to staring at the yellow lines on the highway, looking at the fireplace for any length of time at all actually makes me motion sick. And I'm not really all that susceptible to motion sickness. Even my dogs quickly averted their eyes from it.

Having heard rumors that the display was not very appealing, I did not go through the extensive mounting process that is to be done before turning on the unit, instead propping it up on some thick plywood just to see how things went. I certainly won't be mounting it, now, but if I did, I think I would seek out some different hardware than that provided; I used bigger screws and drywall anchors to hang a quilt last week than come with this very hefty space heater.

I really can't believe somebody looked at this product and thought it was ready to market. I have $25 holiday decorations that have a better graphics display than does this unit. Just such a disappointment!

I attached a video of this 'fireplace'. It looks NOTHING like the picture you see with the product. When I first saw it my jaw dropped in flabbergast. Is this a joke? Is there another button to make the flames look beautiful? It's this...a kaleidoscope of some orange looking shapes. What happened to Frigidaire? I had just bought their excellent dehumidifier. My grandparents used their refrigerator for decades. What happened to this brand?

Customer review from the Amazon Vine Program While I did receive this thru the Vine Program, I am glad that I did not purchase it, as I would have been taking it back, if I had. I was expecting better! The unit IS heavy and it arrived in a huge package, which required 2 people to get it out easily. We were then unimpressed with the hanging slides, and knew we would need something stronger, as we have an older house and they were not going to work, as described. So we decided to plug it in and see about maybe placing it on top of the fake mantle we have til we could find better brackets. Further disappointmentthe 'flames' were not as pretty as the picture shows above, which are realistic looking.Looked pixelated instead. BUT the heat aspect worked great and coming out of both sides actually worked really well at heating up that area pretty quickly. The rocks are meant to be decorative and complete the realistic look, but I was NOT impressed when we placed themit looked like what it wasrocks in front of a monitor...

So my final analysis is this would be fine for say a covered/screen porch or conservatory room, but it's not what I would call perfect for a family room or formal room.

This is a great mantel. I searched the big box stores and could only find mantels with 7.5" deep. I have an antique clock that required at least 9 inches. This mantel fit the bill. I didn't install it myself, but had a handyman install. It appear easy (after he was able to locate the studs). My only suggestion that was not in the instructions was to put screws at the bottom of the shelf into the hanger board, it gives it added support.

I chose this TV stand because the company makes several other matching pieces to furnish my new living room. The stand does need to be Fully Assembled, but my boyfriend is very handy, and was able to put it together without too much difficulty. It is solidly made from real wood; one of the reasons I chose it. The color is slightly darker than the pictures indicate; I would call it more of a light walnut than honey brown. It arrived amazingly quickly from PlumStruck, well packed and in beautiful shape. I would highly recommend this item to anyone decorating on a budget. Can't wait to order the other pieces in the set. Only complaint is that the doors that cover the two side shelves are both just slightly misaligned. They are very tight to open and close, but it is hardly noticeable when you look at it

I was excited when I finally found something to match our Shaker furniture. But the excitement ended there. When the package arrived the box had rips but nothing that looked like it would damage the product. When I opened it I really believe this was a return that had been resold. The protective wrapping was torn and there were numerous large dents, gashes and nicks in the wood. So I also returned this stand and was going to have them send me another only to find they were out of stock and had no date of when they would be available. It really looked like it could have been a nice item but I read other reviews where people had a very similar experience with this item. To bad I really was disappointed. I will say Amazon was great about the return and issued my refund quickly.

First off, I can't give a review on this other than the shipping process and how Amazon has worked to resolve the issue.

So here is a history of the what's happened to me so far...

I order the product on Deceber 30th and get an estimated shipping date of January 2nd, which comes and goes so I check online and the ship date now shows Janary 4th. Ok, it's right before the weekend so figure I'll take Thursday night and put all my movies and cds from my old entertainment center into boxes, bring up an old rickety bookshelf to put the TV on, have the dvd player and PS3 for my son put on plastic milk crates to keep it the air flowing over them, etc. and I'm really looking forward to finally getting something nice for my TV.

Weeeelll, that's not exactly what happens. When I get home on Friday, the piece hasn't arrived yet, and I notice that it says "there was an exception to the shipping process" in the tracking code, and my package hasn't even left the depot yet in South Carolina (I live in Wisconsin). Well, color me mad, but I'm like problems happen, Amazon has been good to me, yada yada. Well, it's late, but on the move to Illinois so things are good and I should be getting it soon.

Well, the weekend arrives...nothing... I check the package and it's in Illinois, and the ship date has been changed to the 7th (I had signed up for text alerts, by the way, and didn't that, either) so ok. Monday arrives, no package. Ship date is now the 8th and no text or email alerts. Tuesday arrives, no package and tracking number shows package is still in Illinois...huh? Ok, well I guess they feel it will still get here on time...uh, no...Tuesday after work, nothing. Wednesday, nothing. Thursday I get an email (and a text, yay!) stating my package was delivered to the wrong warehouse in Illinois and is already BACK in South Carolina! At this point I'm like what the heck, but I really want this piece so I'm sure they'll get it figured out.

By the end of the day on the 10th, I get a message that package is already being loaded for departure and on its way back to Wisconsin..on the 12th it's in Tennessee, on the 14th it's in Hodgkins Illinois, on the 15th it's in Madison, WI and about 15 minutes from my house. Woohoo! ... and then I get an email (and text) that the package may have been damaged in delivery and to call Amazon if there are any problems. Uh, ok. So you're going to deliver it anyway? Alright, but if it's damaged, you better not charge me to send it back! I guess after the text and email, someone realized it might not be a good idea to deliver a damaged product ,and I get an email and text showing the package is being sent back to shipper.

So at this point, I'm like what do I do now? Does Amazon refund me? Do they ship out another product? I mean, what am I supposed to do, here? Well, they did text me a number to call when my package arrived, so I call it. Any idea what happened next? I get an automated attendant saying that this is no longer the customer service line for Amazon and that I have to go to a web site address, put in my phone number, and then someone will call me back "immediately". Ah, well guess what, I'm at work. I don't have a direct line and I can't get a signal on my cell.

So...I Google the customer support line, call it, and finally get through to someone who says I have to wait until the package comes back to the warehouse, wait a few days to have my money returned to the account, then can do a search for the new product and re-order if I wish. What? Why on earth would you make someone go through all that. You already have my money. Just ask me if it's ok to ship another one. They can see it was never delivered so it's not like I could pull anything on them, and then I don't have to go through all this.

To make a long story short, they won't do that and to my dismay, the price of the item has gone up in price, so if I want to re-order I'm going to have to pay more to get the same item four to six weeks AFTER it was supposed to be delivered.

Amazon, in every other purchase I've had from you, you've been great....in this instance...you've sucked and sucked badly.

Having read the previous reviews, I knew it was going to be a creamy white and not a stark, typing-paper white color, which is what I was trying to find. The color is soft and beautiful. The stitching is straight and details are excellent. Hinge mechanism is very solid and the lid stays up when you have it open; you don't have to worry about it slamming shut. Feet are a solid wood construction, not plastic. This is a very durable, well-made piece. I was delighted with the workmanship and the quality. It is an excellent modern piece of furniture.

I was even impressed with the packaging. This was the first piece of furniture I had ordered through Amazon and didn't know if it would arrived damaged or scratched. It arrived in perfect condition even though there was a hole in the box. Care had been taken in the design of the box and inserts, plus it arrived with a protective cloth cover.

Let's get down to brass tacks, the color is ivory. It even days so on the box it's shipped in. Fact is, the item will come up in more search results for "white". It is a good price, I paid about 225 including taxes. Some other reveiwers said it is comparable to items at $500, but come on, this is an ottoman, not a sofa! Who would pay that for a bench!

It's nicely made, very sturdy, good quality leather in a nice ivory white color. The details are excellent, the stitching on the leather looks great. Nice amount of padding and the leather is smooth, it's not bunched or wrinkled anywhere, and the tufting on the lid is perfectly done. Really good craftsmanship down to the solid wood feet.

This item is much better than any storage bench I've seen in the stores, which are mostly made of vinyl, don't have the quality details like you get in the hinged closure and sturdy construction of this one. How many times have you seen a pleather floor sample that's got worn edges and a lid that doesn't fit just from people pawing at it in the storehow is that going to hold up to the wear and tear of everyday life?

The lid on this is firm to sit on, and you can set a drink down on the sides (or even in the center if you're careful), but still has enough padding to be comfortable. This is definately the best quality I've seen for this price, but I wouldn't go so far as to say it's worth moreI'd say that everything else I've seen is GROSSLY OVERPRICED.

This is a piece of furniture which I am expecting to last for decades and then someone will probably pay the same price for it at Goodwill in 30 years, because it is GOOD QUALITY! And it's a classic look that could have been made years ago, it doesn't go out of style and goes with everything, and has the modern convenience of added storage!

If you are looking at this, seriouslybuy it. You will not find anything better at this price. And if you are looking to pay more, it will not be any better quality than this.

We LOVE everything about this fireplace screen and tool set!!! I was concerned about the quality based on some of the reviews, but it looks and feels like it cost several times the price. I was also uncertain about the color--described as "copper"--but it's beautiful and goes well with the other bronze metals in my home (light fixtures, faucets, etc.). My final worry was about the "tipping" problem that was reported, and this is a valid one. We decided to drill a hole through the bottom of the screen (on the stand portion) and into the rock on our fireplace and basically bolt it down. This does not detract from the beauty of the screen in any way, and would probably be a good safety precaution to do on any fireplace screen that has doors due to the tugging motion used when opening the doors. I shopped numerous retail stores and websites and I can honestly say this screen is one of the most beautiful and well-made ones that I found--for a fraction of the cost! Highly recommend.

If you're looking for a bellow for the fireplace or camping (as I was) this is a great, reasonably priced option. Works great. Used it for a camping trip to keep the fire oxygenated and going and it did a terrific job. It looks good, too. If you were using it for a fireplace in a home, it would work well and look very nice.

Metal tube (front tip) came right off the base.

The packaging could have been sturdier (i.e. box) versus a bubble bag. Not sure what the maker [or shipper] was thinking of when they mailed this product out. Actually, I do... Money! No packaging at all with the product other than a product tag.

To conclude, it is my opinion the product is not well built. The metal tube fell right off the wood bellow. I never had a chance to even try it out.

This is my first bellow and it has been a great relief not to have to kneel and put my face near the fire to get it roaring again, however, After only a few weeks of use the leather (bonded I think) has begun to wear a hole in the side facing the user so not only is there a drop in the pressure toward the fire but the person pumping gets a little blast with every stroke. Nothing that a little duct tape can't fix but I would have hoped for better.

This fireplace is very lovely. It has multiple light and heat settings. It is very attractive!! However, it is also a bit too loud. For the price, I expect it to be quieter. Our other complaint is that the top is not a solid piece, but made of 3 pieces. However, it is cute and looks nice in our corner and I am keeping it, but it was expensive and I wish I could figure out how to quiet the sound a bit.
