I ordered this unit because I needed a large corner unit to hold my new 55' Samsung SMART TV. I came across this unit after searching images for corner units. I was a little leery of purchasing this unit because I could not find one review on it (positive or negative) The stand is 119 lbs. and was delivered five days ahead of time. It came in one big box out of Canada. The pieces were laid out with some of the items numbered and some not. Once opened and parts secured I began the job of putting this stand together. Although the directions are a lot to be desired I was able with the use of screws and turnable cams I was able to put this together by myself in two hours. The stand looked great absent some markings on the top piece. The "chamfered" corners were a nice touch. Basically that is a unit that can be used in a corner or against the wall. The top of the unit is the heaviest of all parts and will require two people to place on top of the wooden dowels and the top of the screws. There are 3 shelves total The back of the unit which is pressboard is put together with tiny screws that go into all parts of the unit that are secure. About 12-15 screws in total. Again with a little time the stand was set up and ready for use. The shelves inside the cabinet are cut at the corners so the depth is not as deep ad the middle shelf.First off my DIRECTV receiver and Samsung DVD player fit perfectly in the middle opening. I cant say that for my Yamaha receiver for two reasons. The shelves only go back about 15 inches so not a ton of room. Secondly no bottom hole in the rear of the unit to run a plug or speaker wire. That was odd. The Samsung TV was placed on top and it looked great. You have about 18 1/2 inches wide on top. The stand looked great with our décor and is definitely the type we were looking for. This stand can easily fit a 60 or 65' inch Flat screen TV. I would recommend this item because of its look, the ease of installation, price and delivery way ahead of time. Even with the little nuances this looks to be a fine product

Before purchasing for self installation make sure that there is an electrical outlet (plug) in the space below the firebox. If there is, use a lamp to test whether it is connected or not (only one outlet will have power). I chose this particular version of the FBK-250 (fireplace is a Lennox LMDV-4035-CNM) because of the rheostat (speed control) and the temperature sensor. On all the other models that I saw the speed control was either a wall mount kit (light dimmer switch style) or a small plastic box designed to be mounted in the space under the fireplace. This model has the much easier to install (no work at all) magnetic temp sensor and the speed control box is metal not plastic (also designed to be mounted in the space below the fireplace). The instructions are written for a contractor so they can seem a bit vague, but if you read the instructions and look at the place where you will be installing the blower it will all make sense. The install was very easy. The only "issue" was mounting the speed control box. The instructions show several fireplace models, but none matched mine exactly. The instructions indicated that there were pre-drilled holes that were to be used for securing the box. My fireplace does not have them and I had no desire to drill into the bottom of the firebox. I used velcro to mount the box upside-down on the floor of the space below the firebox. The fan works well. It doesn't push a great deal of air, but it does warm up a room in a hurry. The unit comes on a few minutes after the fireplace starts and runs for a few minutes after the fireplace is turned off. I hope this helps with your decision.

Found this listed in the manual for our gas fireplace and my wife (who is constantly cold in the fall/winter) really wanted it. Shipped quickly, and the instructions on youtube were very helpful when installing it. The only issue I ran into was that I had to dismantle the thin door at the bottom of our fireplace because the blower was too large to fit through. Once I removed the door completely though using Alan wrenches it slid in just fine. Got it positioned, secured it to the back wall and floor and powered it up works great! I'd say it makes the fireplace 3x-4x more effective because it circulates the hot air throughout the room. Definitely worth it!

Product works just fine. Description doesn't say instructions are for contractors only. Terms and vocabulary are for professional contractors. I had to disassemble my whole gas fireplace piece by piece because the fan was too big to fit in the front opening. Scrapes cuts and all it works fine but that's something I'll never do again. Much more than I bargained for.

This candle lighter is so beautiful I left it in plain view. I loved it because I did not have to hunt for a candle lighter every night. It did not take more than a month and it quit working. I can see the spark of the ignition but it will not light. I also know there is gas flowing through it because if I hold down the safety mechanism and the ignition button it will stay lit if I light it with a match.

I am disappointed because it truly is a pretty candle lighter and worthy of being left out on the table, but not if it doesn't work...

When you get tired of hot matches on the counter and burning your fingers you'll consider this purchase. It is a beautiful piece of necessary equipment if you have candles. I've even lit the BBQ a few times with it, but don't tell the wife;) This is as beautiful to have as it is to use. Easy to fill with the same canister I use for gas cigarette lighters. I see that several people have complained about these lighters...I have never had a bit of trouble with mine...they are beautiful to leave out and certainly easy to use and refill. This company stands behind their product 100% so contact them (not the place where you purchased it) and they will advise you how to return it for repair or replacement. Give it another chance...they are AWESOME...and will be my Christmas gift for those people that are always difficult to buy for. There is a style and color for EVERYONE on your list.

This is a nice looking lighter, but a lack of quality control makes it worthless. Mine worked fine for about two weeks, but after that it would either not light at all (usually), or give me a three-inch flame (at the same flame-size adjustment that formerly gave me a half-inch flame).

I thought I was economizing and being more environmentally responsible by switching from disposable lighters to a refillable one, but it didn't turn out that way. I've never had a disposable fireplace lighter that worked as poorly as this one.

great product. It needs to be replaced twice a year or more according to my heating system engineer. water draining through the filter eventually causes it to clog and breakdown due to the minerals present in the water. When that happens there is the potential for pooling water to be drawn into the plenum causing flooding. so keep a few as spares...This not a fault of the product but rather well water sediments that corrode the metal.

This water panal is hard to find in stores. Cheaper ones are made from a fiberglass material,very bad for mold, and doesn't last. This water panal is coated and of hard materail,and longer lasting.Although the price is high, it's well worth it.

This water panel can sometimes be a tricky item to find in retail. You typically won't find this in any big box type store and I have had a hit and miss affair with the Home depot type stores. You can easily order it from one of the stores located from Aprilair's web site but Amazon's sellers still had the best price and the return policy can't be beat.

So my wife and I just purchased a Lifesmart hot tub from HD...wanted something to relax and enjoy with our weekend wine spritzer...we can notice it makes a nice aroma...lasts about 30 minutes..I should get 10-15 uses from the bottle. I add to tub with cover on for a few minutes, which seems to keep the aroma longer... Pls note: don't leave product in the sun but if you do just dump it in a food processor... Lol. Waiting for reviews on other scents. FYI...my tub is bromine...so it may react different with chlorine , etc.

Seems to work fine; it is a little loud. Even on the lowest setting you can't hear the fan but it vibrates enough to resonate in the fireplace shell even with the magentic feet. My fireplace was wired reverse to what the manual on this suggested. I couldn't get the product to work until I wired the fireplace exactly as the manual with the fan watned it. Who ever installed my fireplace reversed some wires; I'm assuming the esc fan is monitroing the voltage across the two terminals and mine must have been oppiste it was expecting. Other than that its simple to install.

We live in an apartment and purchased this fireplace for our living room. We love it. It adds a warmth and coziness to the room and is perfect for small spaces. We purchase the fuel online at Wayfair which is cheaper than anywhere else we found and it is delivered to our door. The fuel is easy to fill and lasts about 4 hours. Very good quality construction and easy to clean (just the glass). Amazon sold and shipped the fireplace right away. It took less than 20 minutes to install. We love it!

I installed this kit in about 2 minutes. Faster than expected. Simple plug in and placement. I ended up moving the fan from the center to the edge of the fire box. I don't know if it makes a difference, but I wanted the heat to blow from the left side of the firebox which is closer to the center of the room. The temperature sensor seems like a good idea, and its just a magnet, so easy to install. The fan is not completely silent. I may consider a speed control which could quiet the motor down a bit. Its not very loud and should not be a deal breaker. As far as the airflow it can be felt, but its not a rushing wind like a portable heater. The loose dust in the firebox definitely can be blown into your house, as a reference. I used a butane gas match to test the airflow, from outside of the firebox. At the bottom of the firebox, the flame bent at a 45 degree angle suggesting the fan is pulling a lot of air. On the top of the firebox the flame of the gas match kept being blown out, which suggests a lot of airflow coming through the top of the firebox. Again, not a rushing wind like a portable heater but the tests suggest airflow. Finally, my fiancee made a comment that she felt the heat and made no complaints about the fan noise. She told her friends, who came over for a party, and they all had positive comments about the heat and fan. I told them I paid about $65 at Amazon.com and one of the friends told her husband he must buy one. I am happy with this product and hope this review helps.

This item has not disapointed. It has helped adding extra heat to my Condo by distributing it more effeiently.The fan is a bit noisier that I had expected but is no problem,most people have some other source of noise on ie. radio,tv,etc.

Only negative point is that it is not UL or CSA approved.

Very much worth the price and very asy to install.

Turns on and off automatically, anyone can install it, but I do wish the blower was a little quieter. You get used to it and it becomes white noise with the TV on, but maybe a little more tech could get it a bit quieter.
