I ordered this product not knowing what it would look like, and my expectations were really not high. WOW, was I wrong. This is a most ingenious device, and it is just beautiful. We placed it inside a real fireplace for our Christmas holidays. Living in the south, it's rarely cold enough for the trouble of a real fire. But, this product gives you the ambience of a fire without the trouble (or heat). Although, if you stare at it long enough, you begin to feel warm, regardless of the fact it's only an illusion. It is truly mesmerizing, and many visitors just assume it's a real fire until we tell them to take a closer look. The fan is fairly quiet too, and is hardly noticeable if there are any other activities going on. I think you can have a lot of fun with this, in many different settings. The sellers are great too, and when I emailed them with a question, they responded the very next day!

The fire effect looks good, but make sure you realize that it does NOT come with the logs that every picture shows. Also, the legs that attach to serve as a "stand" for the unit are pretty long, so the fire stands about one foot up off the ground. The fan is also audible.

I ordered this unit because I needed a large corner unit to hold my new 55' Samsung SMART TV. I came across this unit after searching images for corner units. I was a little leery of purchasing this unit because I could not find one review on it (positive or negative) The stand is 119 lbs. and was delivered five days ahead of time. It came in one big box out of Canada. The pieces were laid out with some of the items numbered and some not. Once opened and parts secured I began the job of putting this stand together. Although the directions are a lot to be desired I was able with the use of screws and turnable cams I was able to put this together by myself in two hours. The stand looked great absent some markings on the top piece. The "chamfered" corners were a nice touch. Basically that is a unit that can be used in a corner or against the wall. The top of the unit is the heaviest of all parts and will require two people to place on top of the wooden dowels and the top of the screws. There are 3 shelves total The back of the unit which is pressboard is put together with tiny screws that go into all parts of the unit that are secure. About 12-15 screws in total. Again with a little time the stand was set up and ready for use. The shelves inside the cabinet are cut at the corners so the depth is not as deep ad the middle shelf.First off my DIRECTV receiver and Samsung DVD player fit perfectly in the middle opening. I cant say that for my Yamaha receiver for two reasons. The shelves only go back about 15 inches so not a ton of room. Secondly no bottom hole in the rear of the unit to run a plug or speaker wire. That was odd. The Samsung TV was placed on top and it looked great. You have about 18 1/2 inches wide on top. The stand looked great with our décor and is definitely the type we were looking for. This stand can easily fit a 60 or 65' inch Flat screen TV. I would recommend this item because of its look, the ease of installation, price and delivery way ahead of time. Even with the little nuances this looks to be a fine product

I just received and assembled this product and am very pleased with the quality. It is made in the USA and includes directions written by a fluent English speaker. It was very easy to assemble and is forged of solid, heavy steel coated with a wax finish. It is quite small and probably only holds an evening's worth of wood for a small stove, but it is perfect for my small house.

Pleasant Hearth 1,200 Square Feet Wood Burning Stove, Small Review
Pickiest stove in the world. Have had it for 2 years now, barely keeps the 950 sq. ft. house at 68 degrees. Unless you have lots of dead standing trees to throw in it, it doesn't burn hot. 90% of the time, you have to get it started by leaving the door cracked open about an inch or two to get a fire started (on and off for hours some days), or restarted when throwing in more wood. Forget about anything that may be slightly damp or not totally 100% dried out, it will NOT burn. Just smolder to death and cause lots of cresote in your chimney. When you do get it finally going, it burns about 2-3 hours before needing wood to put in it. DOES NOT burn overnight 6-8 hours like advertised. I load it down every night about 11pm, and on the dot I wake up at 3am when the furnace kicks on (I keep it at 65 degrees) to load it down again. I burn mostly oak, walnut, ash and occasionally locust and poplar. The insulation brick seems to suffocate it more than anything, but don't want to remove it cause the design of it may let flames through and catch any cresote on fire in the chimney. I can fit logs up to about 16" in it comfortably, but keep a few 3-4 inch pieces to keep as fillers when loading it down for the night. The angle of the top makes it difficult to get more than 3 (4"-5" logs) in at a time. Messiest thing in the world when it comes to cleaning it. No matter how delicate or easy you are, the door tends to blow out ashes every time it starts to get full. I usually have to clean mine out every 2-3 days if temperatures stay in the 20s to 30s. When it does get below 40 degrees (yes 40), it has a hard time keeping up with dropping temps in the overnight hours. I saved and saved for a stove, and now I am stuck with this one until I can get a bigger, more efficient user friendly model. Only positive thing I can say is that when it does burn hot, its wonderful, and has saved me money on heating costs ($230 a month down to $85 on average). I recommend buying a stove bigger than what you need (which I thought I did), and not a pleasant hearth, its just way to finicky.
It does heat a large family room and more quite well, in spite of vaulted ceilings.

The mantle is great for the price. ALthough it doesn't feel like real wood, it is nice looking and arrived ready to hang. I was initially thrilled. Unfortunately the wall above my fireplace is bowed in the middle slightly and this long mantel really showed the gap. The wall is certainly not the seller's issue but one that could have been fixed with a more expensive or custom piece. It's a wonderful example of "you get what you pay for". Living in an apartment made the decision to go with inexpensive much easier.
It wasn't easy to hang, taking two professionals some adjustment and extra screws to do so securely. They worked for over two hours to get it secure. The wood piece that comes with the model left it still giving way and relatively easily bumped off. It is too heavy for that to happen without some serious damage. I am glad I paid contractors to hang it. Adding weight to the shelf is limited as well, which wasn't a problem for me. Because of the issue with the wall, I decided to forgo the mantle and hang a big picture instead.
If you know your wall is perfectly level and have some contractor skills, I still think it's a great price.

It looks fantastic. It is a little worrisome that it is only hanging by a thin strip of wood though. I am always afraid I am going to put too much weight on it and its going to fall off. My wife and I absolutely love the fireplace door and screen we purchased for the home we just moved in to. It is sturdy, doors open easily and shut completely, and everyone who comes to our home notices and compliments it. The only small hang up is that neither of the two mounting options quite fit our fireplace so I had to slightly modify the two brackets by drilling an additional hole in each. After reading several reviews stating the box labeled nickel in fact contained black doors, I ordered this product with some trepidation. Luckily, the doors ARE indeed nickel colored (although not a silvery brushed nickel as I had hoped).I am very satisfied with these fireplace doors:
* Amazon PRIME shipping had the doors arriving at our home in three days.
* The packaging was excellent & protected the doors from transit damage.
* The doors were easy to install (without any help) because the instructions were clear & easy to follow.
* The holes IN the door handles were drilled slightly mis-aligned, but it was no big deal.
* I am VERY satisfied with the overall quality of these fireplace doors & can't wait to build our first fire.
Side note: I wish this company also offered fireplace tools as an accessory (in the same powder-coated nickel finish). I decided to have my brass tools and log-rack blasted & powder coated in a matching nickel color to make our fireplace really POP!

This fireplace cover is as good as promised. Very heavy, nice, durable, & the packaging was super good. We would buy this again if we moved from our house now. Cheap Napoleon 1100c Wood Burning Stove - Majolica Brown
We have had this stove in our cabin since 2002 and it still looks new. Every time we have guests they comment on how beautiful the stove island they can't believe it is almost 11 years old.
Aside from the looks, this stove puts out a tremendous amount of heat. It is the sole heat source for our cabin and it keeps the place warm and comfortable. The bedroom stays about 5-8 degrees cooler than the living room. If you have an open floor plan this would work even better. Ceiling fans are a must have as they really pull the heat from the stove and circulate it throughout the rooms.
This stove is also simple to operate as there is no flu worry about, just a lever on the bottom front of the stove to control airflow. At night before bed I can pack it pretty tight, get a good burn going and then push the lever almost all of the way in for a slow burn and it will burn for 7-8 hours using only crappy pine logs. I would be interested to know how long you could burn using a nice hardwood.

In general happy with my purchase. This is not my first Bush Furniture Segments stand purchase, I've got 3 others Segments series set up as an media center.
Quality of this one is good, but "cherry" surface somehow looks cheaper. My main complaint is as always completely clueless customer service of Bush. My only concern for this piece was exact space between top and middle shelves, which Cust Rep reassured me is 9.17". Well -not true, since there is a metal support bar which runs across whole unit under the top shelf, which is not mentioned anywhere. Had to remove it to fit my center channel speaker (I've got no TV on top, it sits under the projector screen)

This unit is truly prettier than I thought it would be. It matches my other oak furniture perfectly and the fireplace unit makes for cozy ambiance. It was very easy to put together and I got it together in a couple of hours. I did have help screwing in the small screws in the back since I was getting tired at that point in the evening but it was really very simple. I'd highly recommend this unit.

THIS WAS THE EXACT ITEM I WAS LOOKING FOR AND IT FIT PERFECTLY. THERE WAS NO PROBLEM WITH INSTALLING.
After 35 years, it was rusted beyond service.
The new door is simple sheet metal punched to size.
It's not very heavy. It will work good, but it won't last 35 years.
I painted mine with a black wrinkle finish to make it look like the original cast iron door.
My main complaint is the mounting holes are under the door.
They aren't counter sunk to allow a flat head screw secure to it without bowing the door.
I'll probably press countersinks with my vice or drill new mounting holes outside the door perimeter.

Over the last two and a half years I have now bought four plants from House of silk via Amazon. All have arrived in perfect condition and look great. I have been extremely impressed by the realness. They just don't have that typical cheap fake look to them. Of course, cheap they are not. You can find artificial plants out there cheaper but you will you get what you pay for and you will be disappointed. The plant is great, but three leaves were broken off in transit. They can probably be fixed with a glue gun, and not be noticed because there are so many leaves, but this will be a hassle for me since I have no idea where my glue gun is and have never used one before. I was looking for an alternative to an expensive gas fireplace insert, and thought this looked like a good option. I first saw it on Amazon, but when I saw a display model in another store I was convinced. I bought on Amazon since they actually had it in stock, whereas you will have to special order other places. This fireplace is well-built; the gauge of the steel is very thick and the doors opened and closed flawlessly without adjustments (there are instructions for how to adjust the doors).
Installation was super easy. You really can install without any tools if you don't use the riser bar, which is a 2" bar that makes the fireplace a bit taller depending on the size of your fireplace. Even that only required a screwdriver and pliers. It is basically attached by clamping to the steel beam that is standard on the inside of a masonry fireplace. The only part of the installation I didn't like was adding the fiberglass insulation, which I did outside to avoid making a mess.
I've used this about 10 times since I've owned it and have been very happy. It really cleans up the room since we don't have to looked at a sooty fireplace when the glass doors are closed. I already bought another one for my other fireplace.
One more note; you have to leave the glass doors open when there is a fire. I think this is true with most fireplaces, but the image is misleading. The doors open 180 degrees so you get a full view of the fire.

These doors look really great and helped keep the "fireplace" smell out of my house. One bit of advice, I could have ordered a medium or large based on the measurements. I ordered a medium but wish I would have ordered a large. If your measurements suggest that you could use one of two sizes, go with the larger size. Fiberglass insulation runs around the interior trim and is only held in place if there are bricks behind the trim. We are so happy with this fireplace screen. We have a vintage home which we have remodeled and kept our original brick fireplace. It was just too pretty to replace, but the opening was an eye sore. We purchased the Hearth Glass Firescreen and we have gotten so many compliments on it. We have people say, "oh you even replaced your fireplace" and then we have to explain. I'm giving this 2 stars because one of the screen doors was slightly defective. The screen had a 'dent' in it, meaning the screen was improperly sized when it was assembled. I can pop it back and forth one way or the other. It is very subtle because it is black and the room isn't overly bright but it is definitely noticeable. The other screen door is perfect.
