This chimney cap functions perfectly, fit well, and looks good too. It is kind of expensive but I expect many more years of service from it and the convenience of being able to shut off the chimney from the fireplace is awesome. I've used it one winter already and I'm well satisfied with this purchase. It saves money year round by stopping air flow thru the chimney and in the winter it saves wood by slowing the fire.

First, I thought I was getting the "Lock-Top" brand. This "Lock-Tight" is not the same. It arrived, our chimney sweep installed it, and then we all realized it was not useable. The spring was SO TIGHT that I had to use both hands, with leather gloves, to be able to pull the top down to the closed position. Each time I tried to do this I feared breaking the unit or scraping my hands and arms against the fire brick. My wife could not do it at all.

We returned the item but never got confirmation or a refund from the company. My fault for losing the post office shipping receipt so I had to eat the cost.

Overall it is a nice trap. The problem I had was the weight of the groundhog caused the metal to bend which caused a gap between door and rest of trap. The ground hog was able to squeeze out and in the process bend the cage more.

The fire effect looks good, but make sure you realize that it does NOT come with the logs that every picture shows. Also, the legs that attach to serve as a "stand" for the unit are pretty long, so the fire stands about one foot up off the ground. The fan is also audible.

I ordered this product not knowing what it would look like, and my expectations were really not high. WOW, was I wrong. This is a most ingenious device, and it is just beautiful. We placed it inside a real fireplace for our Christmas holidays. Living in the south, it's rarely cold enough for the trouble of a real fire. But, this product gives you the ambience of a fire without the trouble (or heat). Although, if you stare at it long enough, you begin to feel warm, regardless of the fact it's only an illusion. It is truly mesmerizing, and many visitors just assume it's a real fire until we tell them to take a closer look. The fan is fairly quiet too, and is hardly noticeable if there are any other activities going on. I think you can have a lot of fun with this, in many different settings. The sellers are great too, and when I emailed them with a question, they responded the very next day!

I had been considering purchase of this piece for several months and had been monitoring pricing on Amazon and two other sites. One of my hesitations was the fact that there were NO reviews on any site.

I finally pulled the trigger and I'm basically happy that I purchased it... it is a beautiful piece. It is taller than the average TV stand (which is what I wanted) and the corner configuration reduces the footprint nicely.

The assembly of this product was intimidating but the instructions were clear and concise. I had no trouble assembling though I had a friend helping me which is crucial due to the heavy weight of the product. Once assembled, I was thrilled. Very attractive piece and the finish is perfect. Unfortunately, that is not where the story ends. My friend left and I needed to take down the old set up, push the new stand into place and re-assemble the entertainment complex... simple, right? Well, when I went to move the St Croix stand 4 feet into position, the back legs collapsed! Not one of them... BOTH of them.

Granted, I was sliding it across carpeting but for such a short distance, I expected no problem. Upon examination, it is clear that the manufactured wood the legs screwed into had disintegrated. The legs came out receiving anchor and all. Since it is the back legs and will not be visible... AND the piece slides into a corner, I put it in place without the legs, using the walls to rest against and some old magazines to level it. Not optimal, but I had just spent 90+ minutes assembling and I was NOT going to disassemble to return it. BOTTOM LINE: I would recommend this piece but I would put two pieces of smooth cardboard under the back legs to facilitate sliding the piece into position.

If the manufacturer is reading this, feel free to contact me. You would be welcome to come visit to see the flaw.

AGAIN Beautiful once assembled... assembly is fairly easy (with 2+ people recommended) and I'm basically happy now that it's done and in position.

This mantel is attractive and easy to install. It was exactly what we were hoping for. It is well made of real wood, and has a nice cherry finish on it. We remodeled our fireplace with tile below and this above, and have received many compliments on how attractive this piece is.

Just as a note for anyone intending to use it in a fashion similar to above, the arched area along the bottom of the mantel sits flush with the wall when installed. In the event you are installing this around tile/stone, you will need to cut along that arch as opposed to mounting it over your tile/stone, which can be very challenging. I'm a novice, so this took a bit of effort and a few attempts for some of the tile pieces, but in the end, I was successful and the project turned out outstanding.

I recently ordered and unfinished mantel. It arrived within 3 days of placing my order. The very first day I stained it a light cherry to match some of the furniture in my room. I noticed right away that there were some glue spot around the joints. These areas did not take the stain at all. It made the mantel look very blotchy. I called customer service and they prepared my return and within a week I had a new one (this time I ordered the prefinished and boy did it look great).

We purchased this item (unfinished) for a home we are building, We inspected it upon arrival and found that a significant piece in the front of the mantel had been damaged and filled with wood putty. We were concerned that it wouldn't take the stain correctly. We called the company directly and after having to send them pictures, they agreed to take it back. We were instructed to use Amazon's return department, so we ordered a replacement, to which Amazon promptly overnighted.

This one arrived and looked good (on initial glance). When the time came to install the mantel in our home, we put it up on the drywall and the top of the mantel had a severe slope from front to back. It was SO Out of Square, you would have had to bring the top of the mantel out an inch just to level it out. When I started to look closely, you could see the POOR Construction and why it had such a bad slope.

The mantel looks great in pictures, and even looks good coming out of the box, but when you're putting this in your home, I want something to be proud of. I would have given a little better grade, had it not been for both mantels being of poor quality.

I would have given this piece 5 stars, the color is great and the quality looks good; but it came with a small chip on the back (part that goes against wall). Because the chipped part went against the wall I decided to keep the mantel as is. But seller should make sure not to sell defective products and make sure the delivery service used is careful.

This metal bucket looks just like the item displayed on Amazon, i.e. none too pretty but functional. The metal material allows placing hot ashes, and the spacing between the bottom of the bucket and the floor it is placed on avoids heating or burning the floor it stands on. It is not covered, so glowing coal placed in the bucket keeps glowing and will emit poisonous CO and CO2 gasses. It is great for the day-after ashes.

Received this today, in 2 cartons. Put it together in about 1 hour. The top of the fireplace is heavy, and I thought I would not be able to do it by myself (I'm a 64-year old woman), but I decided to turn it upside down and put it together. Worked perfectly. BEFORE PURCHASING CORINTH ELECTRIC FIREPLACE MEDIA CONSOLE-I contacted the seller by email twice b/f placing order to get all my concerns taken care of about product features, function and shipping. Seller was very prompt in replying back and made me feel at ease in order from them (first time). Over the years, I have noticed that when shipping is offered free sometime the item is not well taken care of in transit. Not in this case, the box did show some minor abuse, but items were well packed and no harm was find to products at all. Instructions was simple, if you sit down and study it first, and all necessary hardware was included. Unless you are a super strong patient person, it will require two people to put the top on. After that you insert the electric heater in, screw it in place and you're done. My husband and I love vintage cherry fireplace. Our purpose was not the heater per se, but the fireplace itself as a beautiful piece of ornate designed furniture in our bedroom. So cozy & romantic to watch the quiet colorful flames at nite w/o heat.

Hookah came with everything it said it would, and it was completely intact. Smokes great, except for one minor flaw-the rubber grommets between the bowl, stem, and vase are not very high quality. Both wore out quickly, even with daily cleaning.

The bowl, also, is one of the smaller types, so even though there are two hose ports, it really would only be enjoyable for solo use. It would be smoked down too quickly if there were two people using it.

I would recommend this as a personal hookah pretty highly, maybe as a travel hookah if you're considering getting more than one.

(As for the soex shisha itself, it has a pretty good flavour and produces a pretty light smoke. Haven't tried mixing it with others yet, but I'm hoping it will blend nicely.)

If I could I would give this 3.5 stars but sadly thats not an option. I got this hookah because it was cheap and I wasn't sure how much I would like them so I didn't want to drop $200 for good one. Which isn't to say this hookah isn't good, its just not great. There are a bunch of small issues, the seal didn't fit right so I had to replace it at a hookah shop, it leaks a little smoke around the hose fixtures, but none of that keeps it from working. If you, like me, are looking to buy your first hookah to see just how into it you wanna get, then look no further. It's a great starting point.

This Hookah is a great starter set. The only thing I recommend is making your own screen out of aluminum foil for the charcoal because the one it comes with lets in too much air and you have a hard time getting the hookah to create smoke.

I love how easy it is to light these and that they do provide warmth without too much smoke. The crackling sound is very realistic. However they have a chemical smell, which is bad enough to take 2 stars away, same thing with the regular duraflame logs. I throw pine cones in my chiminea periodically while the duraflame burns and that helps considerably but if you're not lucky enough to live in an area that has them I'd recommend adding some cinnamon sticks, or cedar to help cover it up.

I was surprised at the great quality of this fireplace! It took a couple of hours to put together (with a screw gun; I can't imagine using only a regular screwdriver!), but the directions were fairly clear and made it easy. It's a perfect fit in our sunroom and makes it feel so cozy! I love that it can either be put flat against a wall or in the corner. It is a bit smaller than I thought it might be, but it's my fault for not measuring first. My husband and I are very happy with it, though! This is our second Classic Flame purchase. We wanted a smaller, portable unit for the bedroom to add warmth on cold nights. We have been very pleased with this unit! Comes with a remote control or, you can use the control panel buttons, both activate the automatic on-screen function indicators (indicators fade out when not in use). The flame is very realistic, there are 5 brightness levels so you can choose the desired flame intensity. The heater has 11 thermostat levels to cycle through (62, 64, 66-82 degrees), or turn the heater off and enjoy the ambiance. Also has a timer ... what a great idea! You can choose from one of ten timer settings: 30 minutes, or 1-9 hours. We turn the fireplace on 70 degrees and set the timer before we head up to bed ... the room heats up very quickly and is warm toasty when we arrive. Because the timer is set, the unit turns itself off after we're asleep. The cabinet is very pretty, too. The top has the look of inlaid wood trim which adds a very nice touch! I ordered OzoFire but they send me Co-Z Fire. This product was stinky, very smelly and the air in the house smelled toxic after about 15 minutes. I was happy that it only burned for an hour and a 1/2. Perhaps it would be OK outside but inside even in a well ventilated home it doesn't work. Aside from the fact that I was sent this product without ordering it this is a terrible product. I would have accepted the substitution to avoid hassle if it worked, but it doesn't. The company had no apology but only justifications for their substitution. I was appalled to find out the product Ozofire that they are advertising on their website doesn't even exist anymore yet they still sell it and just give customers whatever they have on hand. They even suggested I was 'too sensitive'. I will be sending the remainder back for a full refund and looking for a more honest company with much better customer service to do business with.

Product pretty much worked as advertised. My goal was to replace a cracked refractory vertical wall casting for an existing built-in fireplace. Created wood forms, sealed them with two coats of polyurethane, used caster oil as a mold release and cast the parts. I kept the part covered with a damp towel to ensure a proper cure and waited a week before removing the part. My mold had screw-on side pieces, so after removing them, I had no trouble releasing the rest of the part. If there was a negative, my finished casting has small air pockets on the finish-side, which I filled using a slurry mix of Rutland cement, rubbing it into the open pores.....seemed to work okay. To drive off any residual water after from the casting, I baked the thing in my home oven set at first 220 F, then after an hour, cranked it up to 400F for an hour. I've had a fire in the fireplace and all seems to be okay.

I used this product to pour my own replacement back firebrick in an obsolete fireplace. The cement was easy to work with. Just made a form, cut some wire mesh to bind the cement together and poured. I know it is cement, but the cast seems "rock solid'. I heated the cast in the oven for about 2 hours up to 450f. I have burned 2 smaller fires in the fireplace so far as it is not all that cold yet. I gave a 4 star rating because I have not been able to get some roaring fires going to really put the cement to the test. by the way, I used 2 12.5 lb tubs to cast 18"x20"x1.5".

This cement was very easy to use, the container size makes it very convenient to mix up just the right amount in a five gallon bucket. Consistency can be varied from a fairly stiff putty to a smoother flowing slurry. I repaired the cracks and spaces in a prefab fireplace built in the mid 70's. I haven't used the fireplace yet, so I'm reserving a star untill I see how the repairs hold up.

One note of caution: This and most cements/concretes contain ingredients that will dry out bare skin! Use gloves if your skin is on the sensitive side.
