I bought this for a client. It did not work for their door. It had too many layers of moldings. The pads could not get a strong grip and could not support the weight of the garland. We ended up using 3M sticky hooks. I did keep it for myself and plan to try it next year for myself. The quality is very nice and it looks good above the doorways.

NOTE: just make sure you have about 3-4 inches of flat surface to mount it. Then is will be great!

I totally love this item, I used to have hooks to hang my Garland but with this holder now, I don't need them, very easy to set up and once you have it set up, you will not need to do it again, because it has a nut and screw that come off at the center that allows it to fold a little, allowing it to release from the area that is on, but you do need at lease 2" on each side for it to grab against. Love it and would recommend to anyone

This is the smallest fireplace type space heater I have seen. I have used the larger size in my bedroom, but even on low, it was too much warmth for the space. This smaller Dimplex unit is just right. In about a 12'x12' room, a few hours of this heater on low warms us up on nights when it's in the low 30s, upper 20's. I'm very happy with it; the style is great and it isn't hot to the touch. Unlike the larger types, the heat on this one comes out of the lower front panel instead of from further underneathbut that's the only difference. The power is wonderful and the flames-look, relaxing. It's also very quiet.

I was disappointed that the first cube package that I opened was defective so with that in mind, I decided to return all three Dimplex Mini Cube Freestanding Electric Stoves. The three packages were picked up by Fed Ex on January 29th and to date have not received my refund. Not at all satisfied with this transaction. Please see that I get my refund as an 82 year old senior citizen, need the money. Thank you.

I bought these to hang up on the awning of my RV when I go camping. They're not overly bright so they don't bother the neighbors at the camp ground and they are LED so you can leave them on all night without much extra expense for the camp ground.

The only drawback for me was that they are made of glass and are quite fragile. When I went to set up camp last time two of them were broken on two separate strings. There were no replacement globes. The strings of lights continued to give off their beautiful changing colors but two of them without globs to cover the LED lights. That's why I bought this string of lights. For replacement bulbs. To me they are so worth it.

After they've been on for a few seconds they get out of sync and pretty soon the lights are all different colors.

These were a bit expensive but absolutely beautiful on our tree this past holiday season. I may try them outside along the front of my house next. The only drawback was that I received a set with two broken bulbs...I wish they had made them out of clear plastic instead of what seems to be somewhat fragile glass (like those Bodum thermal glasses).

I've never had LED lights. I was wary at first, thinking they might not be all that bright. I was mistaken. I love the changing lights. I wish they could have been twice as big. They are 1.5in in diameter. I also thought these are in plastic bulbs but they are glass. Very easy to put them on the eaves using the threaded pole and plastic clips.

Ordered Mondayunit was at the door Friday in spite of the Mid Atlantic blizzard of Feb 2010.

Unit looks just like the original Vermont Castings combustor and works just as well. I installed it immediately and am now again enjoying the double combustion heat output that the Encore stove is built to deliver.

It replaces a 4 month old bargain (not from Amazon) priced ClearSkies CS-200 that never worked properlyeven after returning the first bad one for exchange.

I found the Amazon description confusing (mixing some text about a round unit in the description of the rectangular unit that I needed) so I called Condar and spoke to the Customer Service rep who was friendly and ensured that they shipped the right one.

While not inexpensive, the Condar unit is very effective and well worth the price paid.

Forget the bargainsthis is the unit to buyand it's made in the USA as well!

I recieved the catalytic combustor and first thing I noticed was it did not have the condor stamp on it. And it is not the same construction. no flanges and not as many spot welds. And it measures slightly bigger than described. (Do not buy this product) I noticed a review after I recieved it that it may not be made by Condor. I wish I saw it. This guy should Be removed From Amazon. I will try to get my money back and if i don't i will be calling Amazon!

After a good bit of research, I decided that I wanted a Condar combustor for my Vermont Castings stove. This listing was cheaper than ordering from Condar and the shipping was much better. However, what was shipped was made by another manufacturer that I wasn't familiar with. Who knows? Maybe it was as good as the Condar. Maybe it was BETTER than the Condar. The point is that it wasn't the same product that was described in the listing. They should either sell the one they list, or they should just have a generic listing that says "Catalytic Combustor, 2.5" wide x 13" long x 2" thick, made by whichever manufacturer we have in stock or get the best price from".

On the bright side, the return and refund went through smoothly, though I ended up paying for the return shipping which I shouldn't be responsible for as this was the seller's error. So now I'm out most of what I was saving by ordering here instead of from the manufacturer.

My advise? If you want a Condar combustor, order straight from Condar. You can actually call them on the phone if you need to.....

My husband intalled this Cat. Combuster in our Defiant stove and it works great again. We hope it lasts a few years. The Vermont Castings stoves are made so that it is a big process to install. We had to get the directions from the VC website. It would be nice if it came with some simplified directions. We will probably get a different stove next time where the CAT can be installed from the top. When it is working well we get only a tiny bit of ash dust/month. It really does burn up almost everything with a working CAT.

Circulates the air. Definitely helps distribute the heat. Prepare to take some initiative during installation, it's not rocket science but ours came with no instructions at all, so be prepared to wing it. My only complaint is that the unit I got had obviously been a return resell because it had clearly been installed on something at least once before. It works fine, but the company ought to alert consumers that the unit they are getting may NOT be "brand new". Other than that, it's a good product and worth the investment.

Stumbled across this not knowing the correct blower for my stove. Other reviews were the clincher for me buying so wanted to add one!. As the other reviews have indicated, it is all that! Easy fit, quiet, economical moves a good amount of air. would have been 5 star if the speed control was remote, or at the plug. Mounts low and rear with my stove in a corner the control is hard to access.

I came back to order more to have on hand. I am buying again for myself, and would highly recommend to anybody.

We have a propane stove with the glass window to see the burning "logs" inside. It's in a cottage that is in the process of becoming a full time home, and has honestly been neglected for a couple years.

The stove works great, but there was a HEAVY build up of the white "ash" stuff all around the glass and inside of the stove. The white stuff had built up so much that the only view of the inside was though a small spot in the center of the fireplace glass. I assumed that the best approach would be simply to replace the glass and start fresh, but thought that I'd check to see if there was anything out there that could help...

DISCLAIMER! Although I had extraordinary success with both the fireplace glass and a stove cooktop, you probably should not do the cleaning in the way that I did, with an auto polisher.

My shoulders are quite bad, and the product information recommended "vigorous rubbing," which I just can't do. Also, it was advertised as non-abrasive, so I figured what the heck. I took the fireplace glass out of the frame and set it on a soft surface. Due to my shoulder situation, I decided to try my inexpensive Ryobi 10" auto polisher, (wax on, wax off... nothing fancy), and with thick terrycloth bonnets went at it.

I wish that I had thought to take pictures before I started to compare with what I ended up with. So easily achieved, the results were miraculous! The fireplace glass looks like any freshly washed window crystal clear!

Also, the stove, done in the same way, came out looking incredible. The works very well, but that top is a non-stop pain in the rear end to keep clean. Now, though, I have this excellent cleaner to deal with the situation.

Took the white film off the inside of the glass from our gas fireplace. We had tried everything before with no luck, even had a "professional" fireplace service person come out and they couldn't get it clean. This took it right off though, highly recommend this for anyone witha gas fireplace.

This Fireglo brand is aweful. it was sent to me as a substitute ( I ordered Sunjel) So I tried it and my wife and children couldnt deal with the horrible odor. not to mention I had to relight it every 10 minutes. These cans of gel came dented. Only 50% of the product burned. The remaining gel could not be burned. This was a great waste of my money. I was not impressed. I was suprised to see the good reviews on this product. I just don't see it.

Ordered a brand new fireplace from Southern Enterprises along with a case of Fireglo. The fireplace is fantastic, the fuel not so much. The first time we lit it my wife and younger son nearly moved out. We had to open all the windows and air out for awhile. I read somewhere that you should break in a new fireplace to get rid of the smell, so with everyone gone I lit the gel. First time it was terrible, next day still terrible, the next I couldn't take it anymore. It literally smelled like car exhaust, even with just one can burning. Hard headed to a fault I refused to send the fireplace back. Instead I purchased a reasonably priced bio-fuel burner from Amazon and converted to purified bio-ethanol. First light it was fantastic! No smell, great fire, great warmth! It does lack the crackle of gel, but I'll take that any day over no smell. If you've suffered with gel, consider finding a good bio-fuel and get a burner to place in your fireplace...works like a charm.

I read a bunch of people touting Sunjel and bought a case. Well it was a very big disappointment. My average FireGlo can burns 2.5 hours with a few burning almost 3 hours. Of the 24 cans of Sunjel I had, only one made it to 2.5 hours. I tend to start a can or two at the top of the hour, so I always notice the burn time. From now on I will be sticking with FireGlo Gel. My only issue I have with FireGlo is with the smell... it isn't very strong and my wife doesn't even smell it. I grew up with a wood fireplace and feel the smell goes with the whole fireplace experience.
