Another great prop with other abilities. I was hoping for a slight tarnished look...I chose this one because that's how I thought it was represented in the product image as compared to other sellers. Must have been an old or bad photo of it because when it arrived it was pretty copper color and looked shiny new. I like the more weathered effect for my use of it. Overall though, light weight, solid construction and nice finish for decorating purposes.

I bought this for (re)lighting pilots on my water & space heaters. It works. Once I had read the instructions on how to ignite it, they seemed obvious, but I couldn't get it to work before reading them. (Your kids may be smarter than me) Knowing that the control I was adjusting was supposed to control size of flame, I could barely detect any difference from one extreme to the other

We first purchased the "Large" version of this based on the 1CU FT size. 40lb of Pellets = about 1CU FT. Folks, unless you are Paul Bunyan, I am here to tell you the Large Size is LARGE, easily as tall as a 5 gallon pail and bigger around at the top. I didn't test my theory, but I am thinking you could hold well more then 1 40lb bag of pellets. The small size has better proportions. I am not talking about how much it will hold, I mean that it physically looks better. The large one, aside from being too large, did not look quite right. The proportions were all wrong, it looked kind of goofy, like a caricature or a bucket. This one is perfect. It's the size of a normal water bucket, you know one of those galvanized buckets you use for watering livestock, or carrying grain. Essentially, that's exactly what this is. The only real difference is that it's much more attractive, and has a raised pouring lip. It is heavy duty. I don't suspect I will have any problems for the kind of duty I plan for it. But the rivets that hold both handles on leave a bit to be desired, like they might pull out. However for the hearth and pellet use, I don't see there being much of any issue. And even if they did pull out over time, this is a simple fix with some copper Rivets. Someone mentioned they thought this thing was made of copper and they were disappointed that it was actually just a fancy paint job. Two things. First, no where did the add for this say it was made of pure copper. It says it has a copper finish. If this was made of copper, it would have cost about $300 just for the copper, and who knows how much more for the manufacturing. Second, they mentioned that it's a brown Paint finish. Well, brown is a bit off the mark. It looks very much like the picture shows. And the paint is high gloss enamel. From a distance of about 5 feet, it actually looks like copper with patina. You have to be within a couple feet to realize that it's not actually copper. None the less, this does not detract from the look of it. It looks like,,,, a fancy hammered metal coal hod. It's a bit pricy, but the material is as good as it gets, and it's by far the most attractive Hod we found that fit our needs. There are of course nicer Solid Brass Hods out there. But they would not hold the amount of pellets that we were looking for it to hold. BTW, I believe this will hold a full bag of pellets if filled to the brim. We have a 56lb hopper so it only ever needs to hold up to 30lbs at a time any how. It looks very nice sitting next to our Mount Vernon AE Mahogany. If you can handle the price, you will no doubt like the Hod.

***UPDATE*** After having used this for months now, I can now tell you that it is holding up superbly. But my assumption that it could hold a full 40# bag of pellets was incorrect. It will in fact only hold a lil over a 1/2 bag of pellets. Maybe 25# with keeping them below the lowest part of the rim about 1 inch. Still, this works out nicely as one bag will top off the stove and the hod holds whats left over. At night before bed, I dump the hod into the stove and repeat the cycle again in the morning.

This is quite nice, albeit a bit pricey--so I docked it a star. It is well made and holds about a 1/4 to 1/3 bag of pellets. Nice and handy (not to mention cool looking) to have right next to the pellet stove. TIP: Buy one of those trashcans on wheels to store pellets in your attached garage, so when you need to top-off this bucket, they are handy, and water-proofed. The description says "small" but it's actually pretty good size.

The set comes with a stand, hooked poker, tongs, shovel, and brush. It required a little bit of assembly, nothing too difficult. Basically it just needed the handles to be screwed into the grips. The one complaint I have is that the tongs should be a little wider to be able to grab pieces of wood or coal better. The ends are barely 3/4" wide, and wood often wobbles a bit when you pick it up, or coals and embers slip out of the grasp of the tongs sometimes. That's why I give this only 4 out of 5 stars. I actually got this more for my barbeque-grill outside, so I can move the charcoal around while it's burning, which it does a great job of too.

This set is as nice, or better, than somne of the sets that I looked at locally (Las Vegas, NV.) and online that cost over $100.

Excellent product that replaced our old fireplace set that had only two tools. The set is well made and the tools are of substantial weight and solid quality. Only complaint someone might have was that both the packaging box and the product box inside were damaged. Didn't bother me, as the tools themselves were in perfect condition, but our set might have been difficult to give as a gift packaged as is. Otherwise though good product, highly recommended.

This is a nice set, the tools appear to be sturdy and the assembly was easy. The only reason I didn't give it a perfect score was due to poor product packaging. The box was torn up, the tools were loose and out of their plastic sleeves, as if someone had bought it and returned it. Overall though, it is a nice set of tools.

I have granite countertops, marble vanities, and a travertine floor.

I used Lustro Italiano Premium Sealer on all 3 surfaces and it worked great! I cleaned the stone and let it dry. then I applied Lustro on the stone and let it sit for about 5 minutes. Then I took paper towels and wiped off everything off the surface so that it wasn't sitting on the stone. We stayed off of the floor and countertops until the next morning.

Man did it seal! I put water on it to see if it would "bead" up. Looks like a just waxed my car!

Better than anything I have gotten and Home Depot or Lowes..

I also bought their Lustro Cleaner and Polish. Also very good! It leaves my countertops very clean, streak free, and the polish makes it super smooth!

I bought this product to revitalize an old marble topped table that was quite worn out. After sanding, this product sealed the marble and left it looking better than ever. Make sure to use this in a very well ventilated area, preferably outside because it takes almost a day for the chemical smell to dissipate.

I used this to seal my grout and slate stone floor, I used another product that was about ten dollars more expensive than this product, but have to say this product was way better than the other. It sokes into the floor better than the other leading me to believe that it was doing a better job at getting all the porous surfaces sealed. The only reason I give it 4 stars and not 5 if your sealing an inside floor make sure to have ventilation or a good fan this stuff has a powerful odor not unpleasant but really strong it takes a little longer to dry but it really seals great I highly recommend it if you have a natural stone floor or sandy grout.

The product does not pull moisture out of the stone but it does a fairly good job of sealing however apply when there is either a lot of ventilation or no one is going to be in the room for a while as the odor is quite strong.

I removed an etch mark on my marble sink top with Lustro Italiano Etch remover I sealed it with Lustro Italiano Ultra Premium Stone Sealer. When I first installed the sink with marble top I sealed it with another product. It did not work because soon after I got an etch mark and water ring.

I applied two coats of Italiano Sealer. The sealer will make the marble look dull and you will see all the brush strokes. I applied a third coat and while it was wet I buffed it out with a soft cloth. I did little area's at a time until the marble was shiny. The next day I repeated the process. The marble shines like a mirror now. Looks better than it did new. Only time will tell how well it protects the marble from future rings and etches.

An easy to use sign that alerts you to whether the damper is open or closed. It's fairly sturdy and well-made. The only reason I gave it a 4 was because it is fairly small, I thought it was a bit larger than what it ended up being when I purchased it. It's not a big deal really, and I probably actually prefer it smaller.

I have been using Lustro Italiano Stone Polish with Sealsants since my kitchen and bath granite tops were installed. The granite looks as good as the day it was installed. I have recommended this to my friends who have had some other products damage their beautiful granite and now they look like new. The spray can lasts a long time since only a small amount needs to be sprayed on the granite. Also great for other granite and marble around the home. The flames are extremely realistic and the unit itself is very good quality. I decided against wall mounting it and instead have it on a corner table which is perfect. Some people have complained about how much heat it puts out. To them I would say, if you're trying to heat 1000 s.f. with this little heater, you have other issues. For heating up a single room quickly, it definitely serves the purpose and I like being able to rotate through the Low heat, high heat and flame only options right from the remote. Four stars because you have no thermostatic control, which at this price point seems a little ridiculous. A cheaper model of this (with crappy looking flames to show for it) has a thermostatic control, why wouldn't this expensive one? Generally I'm happy with it and would buy it again. The same cannot be said for the Dimplex Convex unit you can read my review of that on here as well.

Product information is inaccurate. I purchased this product based on weight. It says 1.2 lbs. How do you know how much your getting unless based on weight or size? You don't. My scale weighed what I received at about 5oz. not quite 1.2 lbs.
