I bought these andirons to start and keep fires via the colonial method. And these sure do the job. They're solid and look great. If you want to start and keep fires the way the early settlers did (the right way), then these are a prerequisite.

I have been looking for a nice large electric fireplace for about 2 years under $500. This one came and it is great! It is large enough to make a statement and have a prominent place in the room. The assembly took me about 1.5 hours and was not that difficult -you just need a screwdriver. The heater on the fireplace produces heat immediately and warms a room about 20'x20' nicely. Various settings for the flames, logs, and heater -it's simply wonderful for a snowy day!

I love my electric fireplace!!!! Had to receive the heater and the base separately(2 shipments) and i had only received the base! Called and they sent me the heater right away! I set it up in our bedroom and it heats up the room right away! We have left it all night on and i love that my electric bill has been less compared to when we had a little heater! Would most def buy again, a bit pricey but well worth the $

This is a very nice fireplace bought to put in a finished family room in the basement and it looks great. Although it has been very hot this summer, I tried the heater for about 30 minutes and it puts out nice warmth think it will be pefect to keep the room cozy this winter. HOWEVER, beware Amazon advertised this as 12 month free financing and it was not. When I called customer service, they told me that I was at least the 5th person they had talked to that had misunderstood the way that Amazon was advertising the deferred financing.

I really like this little guy. It was easy to assemble. It cranks out some serious heat. So far so good. The only complaint I have about it, is that the grill on the front gets REALLY hot when it's turned on. I guess it makes it more like a real fireplace! :)

I would recommend this fireplace to anyone who is looking to supplement their furnace heat to save on costs. And also for anyone who wants to add a little coziness to any room in their house.

This fireplace is great. It heats our home and makes it cozy. I get a lot of compliments when people come over. It's something we use often and enjoy. It's not the most expensive looking and that is why I gave it 4 stars, but I would recommend for the price.

The safety features are kind of pain, but when it comes to lighters that seems to be the way it is. That being said, I got EXACTLY what I thought I was going to get, and for this price, I think the lighter is great. Finding a lime green one was one of the main reasons I chose this particular one. It's consistent, feels good in the hand, has a very usable flame, (although it is not torch-like, perhaps what some prefer),

and again, is pretty much what you should expect for the money. I'd give it a 5/5 stars, but it's a pretty generic lighter. I certainly wouldn't go down to 3 stars for any reason. A very good, utilitarian lighter that does it's job. Get one!

In this day and age, buying a lighter should be a sure thing. Manufacturers have had years to perfect this technology since it was invented to ensure that lighters well, light. Everyone but Scripto it seems. I purchased this exact lighter (green, in fact) only to have it fail over and over again.

I don't normally do a lot of product reviews but after standing out in pouring rain over my gas grill trying to balance the umbrella while attempting to get this thing to start, I'm motivated to help others avoid a badly designed product.

Possibly the 'safety button' you are required to press before pulling the trigger to light the device is government mandate. For the sake of the engineers who designed this disaster, I hope so, because it is a terrible feature. It jams and prevents you from pressing the trigger. I'm a fit and mechanically inclined guy, but this morning I just couldn't get the thing to light in ~10 min of attempts. In the 3-4 previous instances I've used the lighter since the grill starter went bad, I've had similar difficulty but could always get it to work. Not today. No way an elderly or young person is going to be able to use it. Back to the drawing board Scripto. There has got to be a better way. In the meantime I will experiment with any and all other brands.

I am using this for a refrigerator based smoker out of an old 1940's GE fridge.

I attached it to the door and front frame by using RTV high temp silicone and it seems to be working.

it looks thick in the picture but is only about 1/8" thick and not hollow or a tube type seal. it bends in the corners while laying flat to install.

good value for the money.

I ordered this mug as a christmas gift for my children's teachers planning on filling it with hot chocolate mix. The mug is very cute. Dishwasher and microwave safe. The snowman stands on it;s head. There was a bit of a mess up with my order initially and my order went through as one mug instead of set of 6. The seller promptly responded to my email and fixed my problem. Gorgeous looking mugs and a nice size...and very reasonable when bought on sale. Couple of points of note: mine did not come in a box with Styrofoam packaging, they came in a normal mailing box wrapped in bubble wrap with minimal packaging. When I saw the lack of packing materials I was worried, but thankfully they were all ok. Also, and this is not a big issue (just may make clumpy hot chocolate if you make it in the mug!) the inside of the mugs are not rounded the 'arms' are hollow. Overall, I love them and have no hesitation in recommending.

This is my easy fire starting helper. I literally place two logs parallel on either side of it, light it, place two logs perpendicular over it, and walk away. Done! The fire is started and I can sit on my ass, read my book, and be cozy. I recently moved and it was the first thing I ordered to be delivered at my house prior to my arrival!
