This fireplace is better than described or pictured. It was easy to put together. The wood tone and material is very handsome and well made. I like it very much regardless of whether it is turned off, or with the flame one, or with the heater on.

The insert was easy to set up and is the most realistic I have ever seen. We have had others, but this is the best. We first ordered from Amazon and Plumstruck was the seller. We received a FDX delivery of the product wrapped in pieces of boxes taped together. When we opened it, the item was smashed and dented on both sides, the glass insert and remote control were missing and paint was scraped off. Plumstruck immediately arranged for FDX to return it after we called them, but I had a problem getting my refund. After numerous emails to Plumstruck and Amazon I had to filed a dispute with my credit card company.

I later ordered the item from QSN Fireplaces. The care they take in the delivery process made all the difference. I am told that these are very delicate and need special handling with delivery.

This was our house Christmas present. It's VERY attractive, and took 20 minutes to open, read directions and assemble. The different sizes let you pick exactly what fits in your space, and we chose the arch to complement the curves of the logs of the adjacent wall, and because we are older and if you stagger dumping wood into it you can grab it. It came with the necessary Allen wrench and an extra screw. 4 stars rather than 5 the screw assembly is flimsier than anticipated, with no real rigidity in something made of thick hammered steel (only one screw per leg or arm). We anticipate augmenting the fastenings and perhaps adding a brace. That will void the warranty:) but then it won't be necessary, because about the only thing that could fail are those short single button screws. I'd still recommend this highly for the design, and the astonishing amount of wood it holds, and the beautiful material nicely finished. It is made in the USA, too, in Washington State.

Each candle tray has a spike sticking up to hold a wax candle -I cut them off using a tool from my husband's tool box so I could place my flameless candles on there. A bit of the finish came off but that's hidden under the candles.

At first I thought this would be too flimsy. Once I got the candles on it, it seemed very stable and the simple design works well. It turned the black hole of our fireplace into a brighter focal point even when the candles aren't burning. The only drawback is that it has little spikes for the candles which means you can't use flameless candles.

This was a perfect fit and actually looks nicer than it does in the picture. The only complaint is the top got a little dented in shipping but not enough to warrant repacking and sending it back.

I ordered this a safety measure for our gas fireplace. It fits well and stays at a safe temperature, with the exception of the uppermost 4 inches which are directly above my fireplace vent. That isn't a problem for us as my baby cannot reach that high. I like that it cannot be tipped forward due to the enclosed top; it can still be tipped backward. Ours is held in place with two Command Adhesive hooks attached to the fireplace surround. As others have mentioned it is easily dented, but I was more concerned with function.

When I first looked at this screen it was listed as $29.99, three days later when I'd decided on this model it was listed at $44.99. A week after purchase: $80.99!! At that price I would not have ordered this model.

Nice quality, cool to look at in a living room setting. But, TOO BIG! Almost can't get the steam to come out of the train as shown in the picture. I've tried everything -putting marbles in the water, etc. If you have a smaller woddstove, get a smaller steamer. Otherwise, all you're steaming up is the inside of the unit.

I live in a coastal region where it rarely gets cold enough to use my fireplace. Even if it did get that cold, I have a central heating system that defeats the purpose of using a fireplace. But since I have it, I figured I may as well make it look nice instead of letting it just sit and collect dust. This toolkit was part of my plan to decorate the fireplace and make it look presentable to whatever guests may visit. What I like most about the kit is that it's relatively inexpensive and a breeze to put together once it arrives. I looks very nice next to my brick fireplace. My only complaint and I wouldn't even call it a complaint since the toolkit is mostly for show is that the broom bristles are very rough, and a few fell out as I was putting the kit together and placing it. But since I have no intention of actually using the toolkit (maybe once every blue moon), I can't imagine it's going to be that big a deal. It seems to hold up as long as it's not in motion. However, if this is a toolkit you actually plan on using and using often, the broom bristles may be something to consider. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase. The package arrived on time and intact, it was real easy to assemble, and my lil ole fireplace has never looked better.

I'm typically very skeptical of products and before spending the money on something I want to make sure it will do what it claims. I'm telling you that Chimney Saver completely fixed my problem of a leaky brick chimney. I was getting water in my unfinished basement coming from the chimney. It leaked before and after I had the roof replaced and the chimney cap. I applied this stuff and after the first major rainstorm, my basement is dry. I'm extremely happy with this product! If you have a leak and the mortar joints appear to be okay (meaning not cracked and falling out), this will work wonders for you.

This is a great product if your chimney seems to leak and damage your indoor ceiling, which has been our problem for some time. The brick is just too porous. This seems to seal it quite well.

I had my chimney leaking even after, roof been fixed and chimney pipe was flashed by experienced roofers. Then I applied crown cap and top crown bean covered by CrownSeal product from the same supplier to make sure small cracks on a crown are not causing a leak, but after another rain I found chimney steal leaking. I was almost gave up until read reviews of this product and decided to give it a try. And after long fight with leaking I am happy that this product was a final fix leaking problems I had. Even you masonry looks good that does not mean water could no go through and this product is preventing it. It seals masonry itself because they are almost like a sponge without it.

We loved the glass! The first couple of times we used the glass, a few peices got a little grey, but since we also sprinkled black glass on it, you really don't notice.
