Discount 24" Forsythia Wreath
This wreath looks great on my front door! It's such a pretty color of flowers and hangs nice! I love it!This item is overpriced for what it is; it is a cheap wreath made in China; flowers falling off when I opened the box; it should be $15 not $46!

Reviews of Muskoka Electric Stove, Large
I've had this unit all of three hours and so far I'm very satisfied. Shipping was fast ... it arrived intact and completely assembled. It's heavier than other similar units which to me indicates that it's of more substantial materials. The styling is handsome and nicely put together. The heater has only two settings but I think they will work fine ... the low setting when I run it in fall or spring ... high when we get into December and January. The fan runs quietly and my kids had to look at it several times to convince themselves they were not looking at real flames. The glowing embers are very realistic. I just like the way it looks ... it's a litte more expensive than some models but so far, it seems to be well worth it.
In case others are going through the same thought processes, a little background first: I've had my eye on gel-can "fireplaces" for some years now while watching the prices drop. They've not dropped enough, though--at least not on the more realistic-looking models. Since we had an oil-filled, rolling radiator in our budget for October (already have one and love it), before we pulled the trigger on that I thought perhaps we should combine the supplemental heat with a bit of ambience. So I amped up the research on faux fireplaces. Concerned about the recurring cost for canned fuel in gel versions, not to mention the smell it can give off (I've witnessed it, and yuck), I put some time into researching electric versions. It's been many years since I saw any in person, and they've come a LONG way! We decided gel was out, electric was in. Also, "fireplace" was out, "stove" was in; we wanted something mobile, and fireplaces obviously need to be up against a wall to look remotely authentic, plus vents and power buttons are hidden in some stoves. But since they're little more than space heaters with fancy tops, the questions were 1) will the stove heat as well as a radiator?, 2) will it look decent as furniture goes?, and 3) how realistic is the "fire"?
I spent hours looking at the leading manufacturers' offerings before I ever saw this product on Amazon. The heating claims are basically the same for this size stove, no matter the manufacturer, so it came down to aesthetics. There are videos aplenty online, and it's worth seeking them out. I was unimpressed with the look and behavior of the "embers/flames" I was seeing until I happened upon Muskoka's company promo video. The designer said he felt they had the most realistic-looking ember/flame design of any out there and, though I was still skeptical when I ordered it, now that I have it in front of me I can whole-heartedly agree. That aspect, along with the size and design of this stove in particular, makes it stand out among similar electric stoves.
Form: The box is metal (top, sides and back), as is the screen on the doors. Everything else is molded plastic. We're fine with that because it's done well, and it keeps the unit from being too heavy. The design touches on this unit really set it apart, and the doors and screen make the most difference. Not only are the power buttons hidden, so is the glass front--the glare from which, on doorless models, screams "faux!" on first sight. You can't see the heater at the bottom unless you're 12+ feet away or sitting on the floor; it's tucked under and centered. The power cord is 6 feet long, and though the manufacturer does advise against it, they nonetheless approve the use of a short, three-prong, heavy-duty extension cord. And the flame effect? Pretty astonishing. We had a friend walk in last night who thought it was the real deal. (I'm putting up an image but maybe we'll shoot a video as well.)
Function: The low (half) and high (full) settings on the heater work appropriately, there's not a lot to say there. It's forced/fan heat, so the effect is instantaneous as a floor and foot warmer, as compared to radiator-type heaters. Whether or not it will make a big difference in our living room space overall remains to be seen. (If it fails I'll add an update in deep winter.) But we have wood floors that get ice cold in the winter, so I imagine some hot air moving across them will be helpful. You can use the flame effect without heat if you're just looking for ambience.
Price: I'd say this unit is appropriately priced. There are far more expensive models out there which just don't look authentic. And yes, there are cheaper models, but those also look cheaper.
Packaging: It was packaged just fine in a sturdy box, with styrofoam on the top and bottom, and with plenty of air/space inside the box to prevent dings and dents. The unit arrives intact with no assembly needed.
Bottom Line: 100% happy with our purchase. And I swore I'd never go faux! Of course you can't beat the ambience of a real fire, but we all know the smoke's no good for us. This unit is a nice alternative. We're ordering one for a relative when it comes back in stock. (It's offered elsewhere on Amazon and beyond, at various prices from various sellers. Just be sure to get the one with the screen.) Since this stove is new to us, if it malfunctions I'll add an update.
Now all we need, save a temperature drop, is a pop-and-crackle soundtrack (we're working on it)--and some good "fireside" wax melts! Happy fall and winter to all.
--Update:
Just hours after submitting this glowing review the "fire" mechanism unfortunately failed on our unit! After running for 20 minutes it went dark for no reason. (The heater was fine.) We opened the back of the cabinet and checked both bulbs, and neither was burned out. When we closed the cabinet one light inexplicably came back on, then a few minutes later went dark again. Amazon was great and quick: within two days they picked up the defective unit and sent us a replacement--just in time for a huge temperature drop. I'm happy to report that the second unit is fine (so far)... no black-outs after testing for ten hours over two days. And on the high setting, the heater definitely warmed the room enough that we had to shut it off. I'd give it five stars if we weren't a little nervous about how long this will last.

I love my little electric stove. It warms up my bedroom quickly and is very realistic to watch. I hate the idea of having to warm a whole house up with just me, so this is a wonderful alternative.Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Muskoka Electric Stove, Large

SEI Narita Media Console with Electric Fireplace Reviews
First off, I would like to point out that I shopped both online and in stores for an electric fireplace for months. When I finally decided on this one, I still thought hard about it for weeks before I actually placed my order. This is the first time that I have ever ordered furniture online and I was very nervous about not seeing the product before making my purchase, but the other reviews had me convinced and the price was unbeatable anywhere else I looked (including Big Lots). So I ordered it, and I have had it three months now.
Shipping:
My new media console and fireplace arrived at my house (in Indiana) only a few days after I placed my order. It arrived in two very large, very heavy packages. One package contained the materials for the console itself and the other, which had "FRAGILE" written in large letters across it was the electric fireplace. There are many different pieces to the cabinet itself, so I recommend doing what I did which was opening the box somewhere with plenty of room, and laying out each piece to ensure that everything had been included (and to ensure that nothing had been damaged). Everything that was supposed to be included was there and intact.
Assembly:
Obviously, the console itself has to be assembled. The assembly wasn't difficult (as I am a 25 year old woman who did it by myself), but it is time consuming, taking about three hours to complete (although I took my time). The hardware didn't seem cheap to me and every major piece is fit with several wood dowels to help guide the pieces together perfectly. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS TO THE LETTER AND TAKING YOUR TIME!!! The pieces are designed to go together in a very specific order and once they have been locked together, it is almost impossible to take them apart again. This means that if you forget a step, you could be in big trouble. The instructions aren't super descriptive so read a couple of times to make sure you understand what you are doing. There is an optional support piece that is supposed to go in the middle of the shelf to help prevent the top piece from bowing if you have a somewhat heavy tv. I would recommend putting it in during assembly if you have a tv any larger than about 36 inches as I have already seen one review where the person didn't use the support piece, and his did bow under the weight of his tv. Once it was completed, I was however pleasantly surprised by how sturdy the unit was once it was constructed.
Product Review:
I did want to mention that the firebox itself isn't as deep as the cabinet is. This makes for a nice place in the back of the unit to put your power strip for all of your electronics so that you can place the cabinet flush against the wall without leaving an unsightly gap between the unit and the wall. It was a pleasant surprise. As I mentioned before, most of the main pieces of the unit are real stained wood and those that are not are still stained well to match the real wood pieces. Occasionally I go over the entertainment stand with wood polish, which brings out the nice espresso color in the wood. The unit itself is a beautiful, uniform color and is very sturdy considering that it was assembled. I love the cabinet space and width of the unit.
If you want a fireplace that looks like real fire, get a real fireplace. I spent a lot of time looking at these when I was shopping around and contrary to a couple of the reviews, I think the fire looks better than many of the electric fireplaces that I have seen (including several nice hotels that I have stayed at). I'm sure that they do make more realistic electric fireplaces, but you won't find any around this price, I've looked. The fire consists of varying shades of yellow and orange, but to me, the movement of the flames is about as as realistic as any I've seen. The brightness of the logs can be adjusted as well as the brightness/level of the fire, which is nice when you want the fire to seem low or when you are trying to watch a movie on the tv and you don't want the brightness of the fireplace to be distracting. I have a fairly small living room, so I can feel the heat from the heater on the couch when it is at medium setting, but I could see where it probably wouldn't heat a larger room by itself. In my case however, the space heater in the unit adds a nice warmth to the room (sometimes too warm). The remote control allows you to change the brightness of the logs and the fire, and to turn the heater off or on, but the thermostat for the heater must be adjusted on the firebox itself.
After three months of having this product, I must say that I am in love with it. With all of the features, I really feel like I got lots of "bang for the buck". It adds a very welcoming glow and warmth to my living room and I get compliments on it every time I have company. For the price, definitely five stars.
The only con I have is the flame is only amber. I could not really tell it was amber only in the picture. Come on guys...couldn't you have put a little red in there to mix up the colors?! It is obvious it is not a real flame...which is what I want...but the amber only color makes it a little less comfy when lit.

Best Deals for SEI Narita Media Console with Electric Fireplace
The console arrived in two boxes. One (console)weighing in at 98lbs., and the second (fire box) weighing in at 38lbs. The console arrived completely in pieces with all screws and parts necessary to put it together. The instructions I would not rate for a beginner as they are not well displayed. It took six hours to put the console together but everything was there and the wood was not fiber board stuff you commonly find at IKEA. Once put together it is a very solid piece of furniture, but I was concerned when I saw the IKEA type screws to hold certain sections of the wood together. The firebox is all one piece and slides in to the finished assembled console with a wood block and screws to keep it in place. I found this to still keep the firebox loose and added two small wood screws up against the back of the firebox to help keep it more snug. Once it was all setup with my television components I plugged in the fireplace and turned it on. The heat unit works great and will nicely supplement the heat in the winter for this one bedroom apartment in Portland, Oregon. The flame and log functions all work great although I was disappointed that the logs didn't better resemble more red coals burning around the logs with instead being the same colors as the flame (yellow/orange). It was not worth taking the whole thing apart to send it back, but a better close-up picture of the flame and logs would be great for future purchasers. Overall I am pleased with the size and dimensions of this console/fireplace. However, next time I pay this kind of price for something like this I will buy one assembled and working before I make the purchase. I give this product a four star rating because of the wood, glass in the doors, and the solid construction after it was assembled.Honest reviews on SEI Narita Media Console with Electric Fireplace
We received this yesterday and put it together in a few hours. I expected the quality to be a bit better for the price, but all the same it looks great. We had looked at the Espresso model but opted for this lighter color so glad we did. Some reviewers on the espresso model stated that they were unhappy with the flame because there wasn't enough color variation, but we are very happy with it. We have wanted an electric fireplace for a long time, since we can't have the real thing. This would probably warm up our bedroom if it were in that room with the door closed, but we have this in our living room near a stairway and kitchen so we didn't notice a big difference in the overall warmth of the room. However, we have only had it for one day. Standing in front of it with the heat on high, it definitely puts out good heat though so we'll see after extended use how that goes. Would definitely recommendFind helpful customer reviews and review ratings for SEI Narita Media Console with Electric Fireplace
If you have seen fireboxes in stores and thought they looked good, dont buy this one. The firebox is no where near what you will see in stores. This is not a good Dimplex type firebox that you might get otherwise. It looks terrible. The logs look bad, doesnt resemble a fire much at all, you dont see flames, just weird glowing light. The dimplex insert is soo much nicer and this is not that. The furniture part is nice, but the firebox is horrible. Also the motor in the firebox makes a loud annoying sound and causes vibrations in the unit. Not Recommended.Wednesday, August 27, 2014
Reviews of Fox 48" TV Stand with Electric Fireplace in Black/Walnut
I just got this fireplace and I love it! Very impressed with the realism of the flames and logs.
I bought this for the ambience it gives my living room and not for the heater so can't really comment on how well it will heat a room as I haven't used it.
Pros: Realistic looking flames and logs. Well built and sturdy. Open shelf is wide enough that it holds both my cable and home theater plus my center speaker.
Cons: The open shelf is only 14" in depth. So make sure you measure the components you plan on using. Mine stick out a bit but doesn't ruin the looks. This is the reason I have given it 4 stars instead of 5.
Cannot comment on shipping as I found this in a little shop. However, I had been looking on line and Amazon has the lowest price I have seen.I love my entertainment center with fireplace. It is so cozy now in my living room. My TV fit perfectly on top. The quality of it is so sturdy & it put together so easily!

I had to speak with my contractor prior to purchasing this item because I knew that it would be too tall to sit on top of my hearth. When I was ready to install it, my contractor and his carpenter came back to cut the legs down to the height I needed (lower part of the leg right above the plinth blocks you can't tell they were trimmed). It looks amazing and everyone loves it. I couldn't have had one made for this price and it would not have had nearly as much personality.Best Deals for Pearl Mantels 159-56 The Princeton 56-Inch Fireplace Mantel

We purchased this grate for a smaller fireplace with an old worn and disintigrating grate. It fit purfectly and seems to be a very sturdy cast iron. Holds the logs well, even though it is not as large as other models. Holds about 3 large logs on top of smaller kindling for a nice fire. Very satisfied!Monday, June 23, 2014

They are a little more loosely packed then sweeter traditional incense you may be used too, and emit a much smokier, fire burning smell than oil based blends. It's my opinion that if you are used to the usual swirls that emit from cone incense, you may just find this to be a bit overwhelming. If however, you feel the extra smoke won't bother you, you may also find this and the other wood based incense to promote a very warm and cozy atmosphere of a burning fireplace. It will fill your room with a delightful ceder wood aroma to be sure. The looser base of these blends make for a much faster burning experience than your average cone, or stick incense. My average per brick is about 20 minutes and its done. The return however is that the extra smoky blend makes for a longer lasting scent in the aftermath.
I have not found these, or any of the others in this line, to be any harder to light than any other kind of incense. And with all due respect to the other reviewer here that stated they do not stand up easily, I have had no problems with mine in that area. I would prefer a traditional cone over the little brick design that these are, but they are still very manageable. If your an incense enthusiast, I would definitely recommend at least trying this old fashioned ceder blend. Perhaps picking up a small box as part of a free shipping package just to try them out...

I've tried incense on and off over the years and most Indian fragrances are too flowery. I tried this incense and loved it. Makes your room smell like you've got a wood stove without being overpowering. The only down-side to these little bricks is that they're a little rough to get lit. I'd suggest a mini-torch lighter for quicker lighting.Best Deals for Cedar Wood Incense - 40 Bricks (Cones) - Incienso De Santa Fe
I purchased this product as a companion to my new electric stove/heater (Dimplex CS3311)--the incense smells just like a wood-burning fireplace!Honest reviews on Cedar Wood Incense - 40 Bricks (Cones) - Incienso De Santa Fe
I lOVE this incense! Reminds me of my childhood! I DONT have a problem getting it to light and it always burns 100% for me, just give the tip a good torching and blow on it a little like stoking a fire! It really isnt like regular incense (which I dont like) and is more smoky like a camp fire smell (because its made with real wood particles) I purchased Pinon, Juniper, and Cedar and love all three. I will continue to use this product in the future!!!Find helpful customer reviews and review ratings for Cedar Wood Incense - 40 Bricks (Cones) - Incienso De Santa Fe
This is a superior product. It burns slowly and releases a wonderful fragrance that fills the house with a cedar smell. I use it with my electric fireplace. I love it!Wednesday, June 4, 2014

My husband and I just had a gas fireplace insert installed and this firescreen is perfect for our needs. We have frequent visits from active grandchildren and grand-dogs and the screen is sturdy and heavy enough to keep them out of harm's way. The screen is also very handsome and the detail work is attractive.

This personal heater works great for my baby's room. It will work well for a small bedroom or office. It was well priced and seller shipped it fast too.I use this little heater in my unheated laundry room (about 3 hours a week) and to heat up the bathroom for my kids when the weather is really arctic. It is safe and effective. I love it.

Looked great in the photos but the weak point is the 32mm chipboard it makes for a package that is to big and heavy to be handled by UPS a fact candidly acknowledged by my local delivery guy. As a result, I gave up after two attempts. On both occasions heavy drops had smashed the corners, as well as shaving parts of the cosmetic white laminate off. Unusable. Amazon return process was easy, but in all very disappointing as I still have a floor mounted TV. Ah well, Ikea beckons....I ordered a white unit and received a black one. Initial order was received in three days but replacement took over a week. We are still putting it together and it is both well designed and material is good looking. Care has been given in designing the unit for strength. I think we will be very pleased with it takes a while to put together but instructions are pretty good.

I have tried many bells over the years and they all eventually wear out; however, I do recommend that if you purchase a wireless bell, you purchase one which has a plug in Ding Dong.
This GE 19216 has been in use for a couple of months now and works just fine. I was impressed enough with it to buy a second one for my next door neighbor. It was fun opening up their bell and pulling out one of the little plastic thingies to alter the frequency codes so that our bells do not both ring at once.
Installation is simple and the bells work just fine. I cannot determine the distance that the bells can transmit because both installations are well under 50 feet.
I do recommend this product for its quality and ease of installation. Enjoy your Ding Dong!
To conclude: product works well under some limitations but was not designed with consumer in mind.
So if you still insist on buying this unit, be prepared to do the following;
* Buy a temperature controlled chamber so you can keep the chime at a very tightly controlled temperature, probably ±1°F
* Be prepared to mount the chime less than 2 feet away from the button, preferably not obstructed by any object.
* Better yet, mount the chime directly beside the button, outdoors.
* Print up a nice sign to put on your door that says KNOCK LOUDLY

I had few problems with this product as soon as it arrived. You can not put this door chime to far from the button control/door. It will still work at 15 feet, but not any further in my apartment. Chime switch is inside the button control. So you have to open it(with something really sharp) to switch a chime tone. It was very inconvenient. To conclude: product works well under some limitations but was not designed with consumer in mind.

I like it. It was fairly easy to install. I prefer the westminster chime and am having a hard time finding another that I like for the back door. Originally purchased it with one button, then bought the lighted button, sold separately on amazon. I think it looks much better. Seeing the light makes it easy to see at night and gives some assurance that it is functional.Honest reviews on GE 19216 Wireless Door Chime, Plug In
When I first received the alarm and the optional lighted button, I was fairly pleased with it. But after a few weeks it would only ring about one out of every two pushes. As a few more weeks went by, the odds increased to 1 time out of 10 and then eventually zero. I tried moving the chime as close to the button as possible. Even at 8 feet nothing. I dismounted the button and found that it would work at the stupendous range of 2 feet with no obstructions... most of the time. I tried different codes, no effect. I have an MSEE from Caltech, so I know a bit about electronics circuitry. I disassembled the chime and found that the RF circuit is tuned by a tunable slug inductor. In this day and age of digital VCO's and PLL's, I found it hard to believe that the unit would be based on 1960's technology. I found that the button transmitted at 868 MHz. I started tuning the inductor slug in the chime and found a point where I could just barely get 18 feet range. The temperature in my basement where I tuned the chime, was about 63°F. When I moved the chime back upstairs, where the temperature was about 72°F, the range had again dropped to about 2 feet, indicating that a temperature increase of only 9°F had completely mistuned the chime RF circuit again. What a piece of junk!So if you still insist on buying this unit, be prepared to do the following;
* Buy a temperature controlled chamber so you can keep the chime at a very tightly controlled temperature, probably ±1°F
* Be prepared to mount the chime less than 2 feet away from the button, preferably not obstructed by any object.

I had a lot of fun playing with the many different sounds and choosing one. I tested the doorbell near the door to make sure that it wasn't too far from the receiver. Then I attached it to the frame next to the door, following the mounting directions, only to find that it suddenly did not work. Looking at the 'troubleshooting' section of the instructions, I learned that it cannot be mounted on metal. You'd think that this important detail would have been in the main part of the instructions, before one is told to mark the location and to drill holes! My home has aluminum siding, and metal trim around all of the doors. My only option was to mount the doorbell onto the door itself, which is made of wood. As far the bell itself goes: the sound is very tinny.)
