I don't think I'd use this as a vase since the flowers might hide the glaze. This is the most appealing fire pot I have. I appreciate the ceramic design and finally I find my colors blended nicely.

The desciption is dead-on. This will fit anywhere and look great.

I liked this when I first received it as a gift for my sister. Good looking accessory for any table. However, have since seen too many reports about the gel used in the firepots being dangerous. I have been stupid enough to add gel while the firepot was hot and was lucky it did not blow up back at me like the videos I have seen on the news. Too many people have been hurt by these firepots please, if you have one, just put a candle in it don't use the gel. Just google about it you'll be convinced too.

This is not a cut at the product, but on the marketing. This is described as Chocolate/Bashful Blue by the manufacturer, but there is no blue in the item. Also, the images provided by the manufacturer shows the bottom of the fire pot as almost a golden color, but it is basically a chocolate brown and white pattern.

Very easy to use.Covered exactly what needed to be covered and still have some left over. Clean up easy, dryed fast was able to build a nice fire on a, well not so cold now, winter night. But was nice to be able to have fire when it was.Would diffenetley recommend for small quick patch up work.

Shipped intact, though one spike was gone. This is a nicely done piece. It comes with spikes on the trays to keep 3" pillar candles from tipping over. My use was to use two plug in strings of electric 3" pillars, rather unusual. I had to very carefully drill the bottom of each of the plastic "candles" so that they would sit on the spikes, as the spikes aren't removable. I draped black, fireproof fabric over the candles, cutting x's in the cloth to hide the wires. The effect in my fireplace is nice and I get great comments.

Note that for its intended use, that of using real wax candles, this fixture would be ideal. I simply didn't want to buy and burn real candles all the time, nor did I want to be replacing batteries in flame less candles. I took off one star for the missing spike. Other than that, good product, well made.

The good: The seller got the fireplace to me super fast! On the third day after I ordered it, it was at my house. The "slate" is pretty, even if it is *slightly* crooked on the pieces that it is pre-adhered to.

The not-so-good: It took about 3 1/2 to 4 hours for me to put this together by myself and was a pain in the butt to put together... the directions were great, but there were issues with trying to get the base on while not being able to see the screws... among a few other little annoyances.

The bad: It looks really cheap... based on the quality, this shouldn't cost $500... it should be in the $300 range. There are gaps between each of the "slate" tiles that cause you to be able to see the plain surface below. There is also a gap between the top of the fire box and the top row of "slate" that looks awful, I'll probably get some type of fire-safe material to try to hide that so the wall behind the fire place isn't visible through the gap. Also, the "log" looks terrible... I am going to buy a different log kit for it.

The ouch: My hands are super sore from screwing it together because there were a lot of areas that were not pre-drilled even though the directions said it should be.

Bottom line: If I had it to do over again, I would not have purchased this fireplace. I would have purchased the other one I liked that was 1/2 the price, but didn't have as much decoration. I plan to keep it since I worked so hard to put it together and I don't feel like paying to return it... but am definitely not satisfied with the quality for the price.

What I received was a fairly nice grate, but it was not the grate depicted in the advertisement. The grate in the ad is made of 3/4" by 3/4" square steel bar stock. The grate I received from Unbeatable Sale was made of a diamond shaped stock (end view) about one inch wide but only about 1/2 inch thick, which will fail more quickly than the grate in the picture. Unbeatable sail did offer a 15% rebate.

This is a nice grate, but if you have a lot of fires, this one will not hold up. Mine is already starting to warp and I doubt I will get more than 1 season with it.

This product is very sturdy weighs over 20 pounds. Thus, I believe it will stand up to the heat of the fire, which was my main criteria. However, the craftmanship of the product was less than expected. The bars are uneven and the distance between the front and back legs is off by inches on the left and right side. I wish it would have better matched the image and the quality would have been more precise, especially for the price I paid.

Yes, I also called Rutland and they said it can be used on the inside of a brick fireplace, but if it comes in contact with direct flame it will probably blister and peel. Used to paint the chimney pipe coming out the back of my stove so it would match the stove. Took a few coates, but worked fine and made everything look much better than a black stove and shiny galvanized piping.

I used this stove paint to paint the bricks inside of my fireplace. It worked out really well but be prepared for the mess of a typical paint job. It is a deep black paint and thin just like regular paint so you will have the drips etc. If you are using it for a brick job then I would also recommend buying a spray can for the same type of heat job to get all of the cracks and areas missed by a paintbrush. At the end of my project it looked perfect though so i would definitely recommend it for a fireplace job.

The only reason I gave this one star was because zero stars wasn't one of the choices. I spent an hour looking for this product, but when I purchased and opened the can, found that the viscosity and opacity of this paint most closely resembled dirty dishwasher. Even after stirring thoroughly, it was virtually impossible to tell where I has painted. I put the lid back on the can and immediately threw into the trash. In a lifetime of remodeling and building, never have I seen a poorer product.

Well they are super long, wooden, and really great for roasting marshmellows or hotdogs. Not much more really can be said about a few sticks but they are definitely worth not having to find a wire hanger or use a shaved branch anymore!

I used this product with a bunch of elementary aged children. It worked perfectly for them. When we were finished, we were able to simply throw the sticks into the fire to dispose of them. If you are doing smores with a large group of people (especially children), I recommend using this. They are a bit shorter than most sticks or coat hangers would be, but still function well. You may be standing a little closer to the fire than with alternatives.

I was excited to find this beverage tub on Amazon, thinking I got an awesome deal. When it arrived, to claim that I was disappointed would be a bit of an understatement. While the photo shows both the tub and the stand, the price you pay ONLY gets you the tub!!! I was about to call Amazon, thinking the item was missing pieces, but then when I went online, I realized that in fact, nowhere in the description does it say that the stand is included, and also nowhere does it say "STAND SOLD SEPARATELY," leaving any shoppper to assume that what you see is what you get.

To add to that, the tub is very light, which means that it probably won't do much in terms of insulation for your ice/beverages.

Buyer beware--the stand that this comes with retails for $40 on Amazon (and that's without prime shipping available!). I would say the photo of this product is very misleading and amazon should change it to just a photo of the tub. I will be returning it immediately.

Decent product and we like it for use as a planter.

The reason for the 3 stars:

As pictured it does not come with the stand.

As pictured it just fits perfect to the size of the stand. THIS IS NOT THE CASE.

The stand measures 18"x18", the tub is considerably smaller. There is a good 2.5" of excess stand when the tub is centered (see pics if I can attach).

Again good product but not well represent in pics.

For the amount of money spent, I expected something much sturdier. The metal frame is flimsy and not nearly as substantial as needed to actually hold logs, it comes apart all the time too.
