Hopefully this video captures the charm of the artificial fire. I love it! It's safer than a real fire and much cleaner. Flip a switch and it's on, flip a switch and it's off. The switches and temperature dial are located behind the door, below the faux fire. When the blower is on the warm air comes from the base between the front legs. No assembly was necessary. Only the door and embers are plastic, the unit is metal. It's sturdy but light enough to carry to different locations.

Ordered this little stove and was pleasantly surprised! Love the happy red color, and it's a great space heater as well as artificial fireplace. This electric stove does warm my 12 x 12 bedroom adequately as a backup, but not nearly as quickly as my old Lasko ceramic heater, which was just too ugly to bear. The thermostat is a dial, located behind the door, near the floor. This keeps it out of sight, but a little difficult to reach. There are no numbers on this dial so one must set it by turning it until it goes on and maintains the temperature you're comfortable with. The on and off switches are also located in the same place. The flame can be turned on without heat, but must be on for heat to work. I took a paper and cut a template and tried to determine the temperature by placing my old Lasko with the digital thermostat next to it. That helped somewhat. Then I marked the template with what I was comfortable with at different settings one for overnight. So the thermostat was a disappointment. The flames are pleasant, but the Vernon I bought is more realistic (though it did not have functions as advertised). The heater is very sturdy, and attractive. I like the bright red. I replaced the two bulbs (candelabra 40 watt) with 15 watts so I wouldn't feel guilty about burning electrictiy. Generally, lookswise, this heater is perfect for my Victorian style decor and I won't mind leaving it in the room year round and enjoying the fireplace any time. I have had other electric fireplaces in my small room that have been wall mounted and very pricey. for the size of this one, the price, the aesthetic character, and the portability, this electric stove is fabulous! it gives very realistic flames, stays cool, and puts out an amazing amount of warmth when the heater is on. the only thing I wish is that this electric fireplace stove had been available 4 years ago! I am absolutely delighted with this little red stove! Everything about this purchase has turned out to be even better than ever expected: stove is a sturdy metal of caboose red. WORKS VERY QUIETLY AND EFFICIENTLY. I have a 400 sq ft park model home. I wanted this little stove to be used in the living/dining/and kitchen area, which is about 60% of my home's space. The first morning after I got the stove, we had a cold front (well, in Texas, it was about 45 degrees with cold winds). I bought this heater to use rather than turn on the central electric heat, as I'm usually in the main living area during the day and I saw no need to heat the entire trailer. I turned it on, both the flames and the heater, and turned the thermostat dial. The blower is quiet and I thought the heater wasn't working, but within 15 minutes -with the thermostat turning the heater on and off automatically -the area was already fairly comfortable. I have wood floors and set the unit's plastic legs (housing is sturdy metal with, I believe, a plexiglass or even glass window on the door) directly on the wood and was pleased to confirm that the heat from the blower is aimed outward, not downward, an the floor and housing of the heater remained cool enough to touch -housing in places was warm but not hot. The quality of the stove's design and workmanship is way way beyond what I'd expect for the price of $69.99 + shipping I paid. Shipping was fast and the stove was well packed to avoid damage during shipping. GO AHEAD, BUY IT!!! I think you'll be as delighted as I am.

I bought this for indoor use. I wanted a low folding table made of wood. I chose this one for its color, the slatted top, and the slightly-curved legs. It comes fully-assembled I only had to remove the materials that protected it during shipment, unfold it, and lock it into place.
It's very well-designed it looks as graceful in real life as in the photo, it balances perfectly when it's folded up, and it's stable when unfolded and locked into place.
The construction is not perfect. The distance between a couple of the slats is not the same as with all the other slats. The brass hooks that lock the legs need to be pushed into place hard.
Despite the imperfect construction, I love this table. It has a casual, airy, graceful look. It's sturdy. I plan to order a few more.
I like the idea of having these around. I will use them for books I'm reading, writing materials, as a printer stand (yes, it's that sturdy), and to hold drinks and snacks when people stop by. They're like TV tables but better prettier, less intrusive, less likely to tip, lighter weight, and easier to fold up and store.

This table was purchased recently and after only 2 months of being outside, the hardware is rusting and it has a crack showing bare wood on the top. Given the price, I would not recommend this as durable outdoor furniture for children.

I installed the fireplace blower myself but had to confirm the wiring with the technical department at the seller. It came with instructions that were for Heatolator Unit but this was a Canadian made knock off. After assurances on how to connect the electrical hook up, thermal switch and fan control I installed it fairly quickly. It turns on about 10 minutes after the fireplace is lit. It will remain on until the fireplace cools as well. My only problem is that it makes too much noise it whistles even when set on the lowest speed setting. I am going to follow up with the seller tech and either fix this or hopefully return it.

I paid for this product and never got it because they had it priced wrong. They sent me an email that said that they refunded my money and they were having it shipped back to them. I talked to them saying i paid for this product and it was mine how can they just take it back. I said if I went to Walmart and bought something and as I was walking out they said o sir we did not charge you enuf for the product and we are going to take it out of your cart and give you a refund. I searched for months to find something to place above a painting on my wall. This item worked perfect and adds so much to the painting and the whole room. There are a lot of other items similar to this that cost twice as much. Its lightweight and not as heavy as a lot of other metal pieces, but it's not cheap looking. I don't even need anchors to hang it, I just used 2 tiny nails. I definitely recommend this product!
Deducting one star because it's not flat so parts of it don't touch the wall. I was trying to avoid adding more nail holes but it looks like that's the only thing that will keep this thing hanging flat.

This is a nice bronze color and I love the design. It was the perfect width to hang over a queen-sized guest bed.Deducting one star because it's not flat so parts of it don't touch the wall. We had a carrier from LLBean, and had search for another and finally found the next best thing!!! The LeatherCraft C390 is a quality log carrier with good stitching and sturdy handles. Like some other reviewers have noted, the width of the carrier is a little small (logs may hang off sides) but the length of the canvas is good. The size for me is generally just right and I can get 5-8 logs into the carrier depending on log size (5 large or 8 average pieces). I did not have a problem with logs tipping or falling out. Once you have it full and pick it up, the canvas wraps tightly around the load. Thus far, the carrier has lasted one season and I would imagine that it will be around for awhile longer. The canvas has not torn at all and is holding up well. Recommended.

This fan is definitely quiet. It is smaller than the one I replaced and still puts out a good airflow. I am not at all disappointed with the product itself but a bit disappointed with myself for not ordering the larger one. I certainly will use this one I bought due to the air flow being sufficient for what I need in the living room from the gas log fireplace. I recommend this product thus far. (I have only had it a couple of days).

I received this yesterday and tried it out on my Weber Kettle grill today. I preheated it as directed and placed some rib eye steaks on the Tuscan grill. Giving each a quarter turn after two minutes produced a very distinctive diamond-shaped pattern that makes your food look very professionally-grilled. At 14" square, you have a fair-sized grilling surface as well. It is heavy to be sure, but cast iron is one of the best grilling surfaces imaginable and the V-shaped grates will assure you that your food will not only taste great, but look really appetizing too!
NOTE: Make sure that you season this accessory before using it or you will probably get a very unpleasant metallic taste. I coated the entire surface, including the removable legs, with a light film of melted shortening. I placed two baking pans lined with foil into a 350 degree oven and stood the grill upright on the sheets. I baked it for an hour, shut off the oven and went to bed. In the morning, it was cool and completely seasoned. After using it, I let it cool down and soaked it in hot water in the sink. Then I scraped it down with a plastic brush and repeated the seasoning process. This really isn't necessary but I do it just to add a stronger finish.

The size is perfect for camping. It's small enough to throw in the car and take with you, but big enough for grilling steaks for 4 people. The bars come to sharp peaks and make professional looking grill marks. It can also be used as a surface for cooking with pots and pans. Cast iron is the absolute best for grilling, so it's worth it to me to put in the extra effort caring for it. I suggest removing the feet for oiling so that the space between the feet and the grate stay in good shape.About the feet: A couple of people complained that they fall off when cooking. First of all, I can almost guarantee you that they had a habit of screwing them on too tight and they stripped the threaded inserts. Just screw it on until you feel it starting to resist and then stop. That will prolong the life of the threading. What they failed to mention in their poor reviews is that the threaded inserts can be removed with a hex key and easily replaced with new threaded inserts. You can buy stainless steel threaded inserts at a good hardware store for less than $1 each. If your hardware store doesn't have them, then grainger.com has them, but you have to buy in packs of 100 for things like this for about $20 total.
For the price of this grill, it's not a bad design. I would have liked to see a more robust foot system, where you insert a rod into a slot and secure it with a pin. But, there's is nothing better than this grill available on the web (I looked a lot). Because it's cast iron and because you can replace the threaded inserts, with proper care this grill can live longer than you ever will. Everything else I've seen that is small enough to take camping is a piece of junk that won't get you the same cooking results because they are made of enameled iron or some other inferior metal that can't transfer heat properly and can't handle high heat when you want to sear meats. Plus, most other products won't last for more than 3 or 4 seasons at best.

I have a flat bottom, terra cotta clay, fire pit. This tuscan grill sits in it very nicely. With some mesquite wood burnt down town embers, it make great flavor for steaks, burgers, about anything you can think off. And since it's cast iron, it can handle the heat. And with some protection from the elements, when not in use, this grill could last for ever.The only reason I gave it 4 stars, instead of 5 is because the legs, are slightly uneven... very slighty. With that said, the grill still works great. On a camp fire, the legs wouldn't even be an issue. And even in my fire pit it works very nice.

The legs screw off for easy storage, but I leave the legs on mine all the time. Keep in mind, this is not for delicate cuts of meat and the like. However, with it's simple design, it's open to one's own creativity. Stack some cement blocks/bricks around the grill... and wind issues won't be much of a problem....... And for me this is half the fun of this gizmo... seeing what all I can get out of this thing....... I guess it's the caveman, primal, lower-life form in all of us........It's fun and simple, and only limited to ones own bravery and talents on a open flame grill...... What makes this grill so awesome is that if fits on a 32" dutch oven table with plenty of room for a dutch oven next to it.I recently got back from a car camping trip, and it was awesome. it can be used as is, or you can place foil on top for a slower grill, or place a griddle on top for eggs and bacon and pancakes. Or you can wrap ribs in foil, place on this grill, and then wrap heavy duty foil over the entire dutch oven table to create a more oven like ambient heat environment. Great job Steve Raichlen. Everywhere I go when grilling, wind is a problem. So, for this unit, if you have the same issues I do, make sure you get a windscreen. The duo green 11" windscreen is good and portable, but my new favorite is the 12" wind screen on my dutch oven table.
Assuming you have that piece taken care of, the Steven Raichlen Tuscan grill rocks. Seriously rocks.
It's awesome that it's cast iron, and instead of a rounded or flat grill bar design, this uses a triangular tube design, much like a Toblerone chocolate. That makes some beautiful grill marks on pork cutlets and steaks. Wish all grills were designed this way.
The grill size at 14" x 14" is fantastic because it's just portable enough for car camping, and large enough to put a decent amount of meat to feed 4 at a time. Really a perfect size for portability and usability.
The leg height is just right too. Since you never know if you'll be on a small campfire or a dutch oven table, the short legs means that small wood fires and briquette coals both work well. That is a huge plus.
A lot of reviews mention that the screw treads get damaged really easily, and I'm really happy to have read those reviews. tight screws aren't important for this grill, so just tighten them enough to keep the legs from wobbling to make sure the treads don't get damaged and that's good enough. Hope by being gentler with the treads, I won't have the same issues others have had. But one reviewer did note that the screws were removable and replaceable, so keep that in mind.
Used this three times already after spending two days "seasoning" the grill. I know there is a right way to season it, and read about how that's done, but my lazy method worked and I can't tell the difference from my other pre-seasoned cast iron equipment, plus the food tasted fine with no metallic after-taste, so my method seems good enough. In case anyone is interested, I just sprayed pam on it all over, brushed it in as best I could, put some coals underneath, and after it dried, sprayed again, brushed it down and put it back above the coals. Repeated this twice more and it looked fine to me. every time I use it, I spray it down again, and now it looks like a well seasoned cast iron grill. Don't shoot me....I'm just too lazy to use the oven.
I'd been looking at the TexSport cast iron grill for a long tim, and what held me back was the thinner wiring of the TexSport grill surface, so finding this Tuscan grill, which seems to be everywhere, really made my day.
If you like charcoal grilling, and want something portable, but still want cast iron, this is a pretty good way to go. Add a good dutch oven table and it's grill heaven.
